I want to connect a Sonos port to my existing AVR. I want what I'm watching on the home theater to be able to stream to my two other zones connected by Sonos amps. I also what whatever music I'm streaming in those zones to be able to play back in my home theater as well. So can I use the loop out on my AVR to connect to the inputs on the port and the Output on the port to plug into one of the inputs on the AVR?

First Sonos purchase. Bougt the Beam gen 2.  I have an LG TV and connected the Beam to the eARC HDMI port. After configuring the TV for the output sound, it worked. Pretty easy setup...(no Apple tv connected yet..saw the issues here). The main problem I have is it somehow has reprogrammed the LG TV’s remote. Now the ‘power’ button on the TV is a ‘mute’ button. How do I power off the TV without unplugging it?  Anyone else have this issue?  Also, another unrelated question, is there any way to adjust the EQ? I like more bass, less treble...any adjustments on this thing?

Just got my Move 2 four days ago and have kept it on the charger since I got it. It’s never fully charged, got to 97% and now it’s at 94%.  Is this normal?

Where isspeech enhancement on Beam gen 2?

I have a Sonos Playbar with two Play 1’s in surround mode, tied via optical cable to my Sony TV.  When using the normal feed of Dish TV receiver via my TV, everything audio works just fine.  But when I’m feeding streamed content via the Apple TV, I struggle to get sufficient volume going out of my Sonos surround.  I found at one time, that resetting volume to zero with the Apple TV remote would get things going. Now it seems like the audio signal from the Apple TV is just weak.. and I have to separately crank up the Sonos volume with the TV remote volume control or my Sonos controller.Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In the last month my Sonos system has turned on in the middle of the night both at my house and my condo (with nobody home). What the heck is happening. I don’t have Spotify I only use Apple Music. 

Unfortunately, I’m experiencing the same issue @jnnnn posted about earlier.  On Dec 8 I discussed my Arc issues with a tech via phone.  She told me “this is a known issue” and said the defective Arc would be replaced. A ticket was generated, I was told to expect an email with details pertaining to the return.  To date, I’ve not received an email regarding the return. Despite 3 chat sessions and a phone session each of which ended with the explanation that the next level tech assigned to resolve the return was “not available”. To get the same response on 4 separate occasions is…poor.  Sonos support, anybody out there?

Time was I could stream content from my Wolfgang’s Music account through my Sonos system… seems not longer. Anyone know why? David B.

Hello, I have received a Sonos roam SL but I don't manage to pair it with with Samsung A13 (Android version 13). Could you please help to use the Sonos ? 

I usually play BBC sounds or SONOS Radio on my Move, controlled via my Samsung phone. I installed Spotify on the phone and it plays via my Bluetooth connected hearing aids. It appears on the list of options on Sonos but will not play via the Move, only hearing aid. How do I activate it on Move? Nothing has worked so far.

Sonos, I have a lot of Sonos products and just added a Sonos Arc, two Era 100’s and the mini sub. I am very effecient at setting up Sonos and have never had problems until the purchase of the above named products. I have spent over 20 hours trying to get my system up and running. This includes approximately 6 hours of my own time and 3 different (2 chats and 1 phone call) with Sonos to try and get it fixed. This has been a huge PIA! I have a Playbar in the Family room, got it connected and now I’ve tried for the last frickin’ hour to get the Era 100’s connected to the Family Room and it sets up another room! Family Room 2!!! So, I reset both of them and it sets up a Family Room 3!!!I feel like doing what people have done with their Tesla’s and set them on fire! I finally get the Arc working (with a chat) but no TV sound. hi all. For certain podcasts I am getting the message - the connection to myTuner radio was lost - and podcast will not play. Other myTuner podcasts do play OK. I have refreshed source etc. Specific podcats are:DishKermode and MayoCrucible moments Thanks for any helps

Just purchased my first Sonos device (the Beam Gen2) and have it connected to the Apple Music service and my music library using the Sonos app on my phone.  Only using SonosVoice and so far it is working great. My family also uses Apple’s Family Sharing and my wife has her own library.  To get her library connected to the Beam is it as simple as using the Sonos app on her phone to connect to the Beam?   Does she create her own account or use the account I created when I first set up the Beam? Will the Beam’s SonosVoice assistant be able to identify both my voice and my wife’s voice and then use the appropriate libraries?

Hi,I’ve had the Ikea SYMFONISK for a while now but recently we changed the wifi password and the lamp wont connect its speaker to my iphone. I’ve tried resetting the product with the app but it doesn’t seem to work. How do I fix this?

I am unable to sync the new Direct tv stream Gemini AIr remote to my Sonos Beam to control volume when playing music. I spent an hour on the phone with Sonos tech support and the guy told me this new remote is not  compatible [which makes no sense]. He tried everything to help but could not get it to work.My Samsung remote works fine but I don’t actually use it.Can anyone help?? 

I saw a topic of this name and am experiencing the same issue. I bought a Sonos Era 100 to replace a Sonos One SL in my system. But the sound produced by the Era 100 is worse than the One SL. Vocals and mids sound muffled. I have tried messing with the equalisation setting bass to min and treble to max but the sliders seem to have little effect on the voice comprehension. This is puzzling as most people seem to say the Era 100 is better. Perhaps there are bad batches. I am not sure now whether to keep the One SL. The one benefit for me of the Era 100 is the volume slider but the sound is annoying me, particularly as I mostly listen to speech radio. Is this something Sonos support can fix, for instance a replacement Era 100. Do others receive muffled voices from the Era 100.

I changed my configuration and removed some speakers from my system. When I turned them off they stayed in the app and there was only the option to “hide” them, but it didn’t work. I checked this board for the steps but didn’t find a solution, I just went through it with chat support and the below method worked.  Factory reset the speaker Open the sonos app A popup will come asking you to “Add” this “new speaker Close out of the pop-up, don’t add it.  Restart the app. This worked for me, the old speaker is now gone from the app.  The speaker I did it on was a roam. I wish I had known this before I shipped the other one I had and sold because apparently, I have to wait for that one to be activated by another user before it can be removed from my app.  

New to Sonos.  We are redoing our kitchen/living room and I’m adding 4 in-ceiling speakers with the amp.  My question is if I want the speakers to work with the tv, what’s the best way to do it?  Can I run an hdmi cord from the amp to the tv or do I need a soundbar to accomplish this?  Thanks for the help!

im adding a port to existing system, my app see it and begins the add process, I enter the port pin and the blue join light never starts blinking and even pushing it anyway doesn't allow the process to move forward

System requires sonos bridge to be tethered to router. When it was unplugged & then plugged back, app can no longer detect my system (4 play 5s, sub, 2 connects for traditional systems). 

I recently upgraded my Comcast router.  Sonos no longer works.  Sonos app says I need to split my router signal.  Question.  Is this need to split particular to older models or is it an issue for all products?  Also, does splitting my signal slow or weaken my WiFi, in general?

Beam Gen 2 has to be restarted every time we want sound from our brand new Samsung TV. Will not appear in list of sound sources on TV. Connection is via HDMI eARC. If we power off Beam and restart it does appear. Why? Why? Why?

sonos engineering. i have been installing your stuff for 8 yearsi started installing sonos arcs when they first releasedi mainly connect them to samsung as they WERE the most behaved. the last 6 months. i am more and morerunning in to this scenario:sonos arc connected to a samsung Q90C and onesource( like directv or a hdmi switch connected to several sources. arc sets up fine when its the only source plugged inas soon as the other media source (s) is connected sonos arc drops - no sound.tv goes to tv speakersa year a ago i didn’t see this issue at all.  now i am running into it more often. reading the thread. apprentlyit happening to many. i understand the issue has to do with CEC. but why now?  as i didnt see this before.maybe the cec specs for on the tvs have changed?wonder if anyone in engineering is following and asking if there is any serious effort underway to resolve.having to add a cec-less adaptor to every source plugged into the tv or having to use optical, is am alternative,

Is there a remote that is compatible with the Beam Gen2 instead of using the app?
