I have a Sonos Playbase, Sub and 2x Play 1s for my home cinema setup.  I’ve been curious about Dolby Atmos, which is compatible with my TV but not the Playbase. I get decent surround sound by using AirPlay but I was wondering if it could be improved by replacing the Playbase with the Beam 2nd Generation to get Dolby Atmos. Is it worth the upgrade? Thank you!

I had a Sonos widget on my pixel 6 pro for a long time, and today it just disappeared, no longer on the widget menu either... What happened?

I have a Sonos Arc with sub and a LG OLED TV.With the new Sonos headphones, will I be able to listen to TV sound thru headphones while my wife still listens to TV sound thru the Arc soundbar at the same time?

TV to Arc via HDMI, Arc wirelessly to Sub, SL’s (one room) and Amp (another room) and passives wired to Amp. The sound is echoey when the Amp is on and grouped with the Arc. Is this because of delay and how do I fix. My network is super fast and the Arc and Amp are within a couple feet of each other. If indeed the wireless setup is the issue, what’s an alternate setup? 

I have recently upgraded my system from S1 to S2.   I want to turn the status light off on a newly added Connect:Amp.  However I don’t see the status light toggle in the app - i’m sure it appeared there previously.  Anybody know where the toggle is?  

I own a Move 2 but I'm finding the fullness of the bass lacking compared to my Sony SRS X55.Is it better to buy another Move 2 or a sub to give me a fuller sound? You can probably tell that I'm not expert on the technology around this, I just like my music.Thanks all 🎶

Daft question….can a Play:1 (2016 version) be paired with a Play:1 (2013 version)?I suspect the answer is yes, so my real question is would there be any problems given the differences in storage and memory as shown here:https://www.reddit.com/r/sonos/comments/ettebf/updated_sonos_memory_graph/ Basically I’m looking to add a second speaker (cheaply) to my current 2016 Play:1 and the 2013 version seems more available.

Cannot successfully setup Sonos One system. App keeps saying that there is no system connected, even after seemingly having setup the speakers. I have set up Sonos speakers before, but it just doesn’t work when all indications are that it should. 

Since the terrible update to my iPad and iPhone. I'm trying to put the path to my music library on the Mac desktop as its not now showing. I have a hard drive attached to the USB port on my BT Hub all was working before the updates so after putting in the path //192 etc/usb2/music I get the Sonos was unable to add the shared folder with an error code of 913 ?I can see the bt hub and the music folder on my Mac network folder.I don't understand why it says this as all was working fine a week ago .to try to speak to a Sonos on a call says I would have to wait an hour and a half ! the Mac app is build 16.2 Can anyone hep please ?

This problem (for me at least) is specific to radio stations accessed via the Tunein and Sonos Radio services on Sonos. RTE is available on the Tunein app and through a Google device. is this just me?

Hi all, I have 2 sonos move, through sonos app I have made stereo pair, but when I have Bluetooth on only one speaker is playing,  Please advice how can I play through Bluetooth on both speakers  Regards

I have a surround setup with Playbase, OneSL, One Gen1 and Sub Gen2. Is it worth adding a new second Sub Gen3 to the system? Is it going to make that much of a difference as it’s very pricy.. I understand there are app issues at the moment… I’m not after advise on the app.. just the second sub and if its worthwhile.

Since last week I’ve had major issues with multi-room (10 devices across 6 rooms).   I’m thinking this may be related to the newly added Apple Lossless support.    I can get 3, maybe 4 rooms to play reliably, but adding 5 or 6 causes major issues with constant rolling dropouts, eventually leading to some speakers just silent (although the app thinks they are playing).With Amazon Music, (which I don’t use, but tried it for testing), playback is stable.I can also play to all rooms/devices reliably with Apple Music over Airplay - including adding 6 more “rooms” through airplay.I have an Eero mesh network with excellent coverage, and I live in a rural setting so not a lot of interference from other networks.Anyone having similar issues?

The [b]minimum volume [/b]on a Play 1 for instance (volume level 1) is [b]too loud [/b]to let the music play as [b]background[/b]. It's "no music" or "too loud music" on volume level 1 Nothing in between. Ideally I could lower the music volume [b]like an old amplifier[/b]. It's as simple as that. We use the Sonos system on the lowest volume side and [b]the minimum volume is just way too high[/b].[u] I'm surprised that nobody else raises this[/u].

I currently own a Sonos Beam and Two Sonos One SL speakers functioning as a surround system for my television and for music.  Currently my Sonos Roam (1) cannot join the group of speakers i’m using at home.  If I upgrade to the Sonos Roam 2, is it possible to add this device to my current Sonos Sound system configuration as an additional speaker?  I would optimally like to use the Roam 2 as a speaker in another room while listening to music.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there, apart all the (severe) issues and dropouts caused by the new app (that imho got better after the last update) I started losing at least one system all the time right after I finished reintegrating it. I have in total 15 “rooms”. Then I realized that I simply may have to much devices in one system (in total: 35 loudspeakers ranging from Play 1 to Arc and different Subs). However, I asked myself if every loudspeaker counts as one device: What about Subwoofer (e.g. I have two in one surround system and 4 Minis and one gen3 integrated in Stereo pairs) - do also the loudspeaker in surround sets and Subwoofer in 2.1 sets count as devices? If yes: Is it possible to create two different Sonos systems in one (the same) WiFi Network? Every hint would be helpful and much appreciated - thanks! Django

Efter seneste opdatering stoppe afspilningen umotiveret. Jeg bruger mit Sonos til afspilning af musik i et bestemt rum i dagens lyse timer. Med den gamle App startede jeg afspilningen med Sonos Alarm. Og det virkede fint. Jeg har stadig alarmen sat til, men musikken stoppe ofte efter en time eller to, og jeg har IKKE  højtaleren sat til at gå i dvale

Ever since the big app update, I have not been able to group my three speaker zones.  I have a Play 1 stereo pair and a play 1/playbar surround sound set up attached to a tv.  Anyone else have this issue?

During Era 100 setup, am asked to stop apps on my iphone from using Airplay. How can I tell which ones are using airplay? I normally have my phone audio routed to my hearing aids. I have turned that off. I don’t know what other apps could be using airplay. The set-up procedure can’t proceed until this is answered.

Jacaranda 94.2fm in Pretoria, Gauteng isn’t playing on my Sonos today. It was working last night still.

Google is closing Google Podcasts April, 2024. Google suggests moving your podcast subscriptions to You Tube Music. So I did.Now, my podcasts are in my You Tube Music library, and I can play them from there. The podcasts also show up in YTM library on the Sonos app. But the Sonos app can not play them. When I try to play one, the Sonos app balks, and a slide-up message says “Unable to play [name of podcast episode] -the connection to You Tube Music was lost.” Other YTM  items - songs, playlists, etc., play through fine. And Sonos plays podcasts which were added to my YTM library from within YTM. Only the podcasts imported from Google Podcasts to my YTM library are affected. I suspect this is a Google problem, although it is unclear why the podcasts play in YTM but not in Sonos. Any insights?
