Hi. First, my english is bad, sorry for that. When I asked my sonos arc to turn of the tv, it says ok, but nothing is happening. When I ask it to turn the TV on, everything is working fine. When I ask it to turn the volume up or down, I get a messenger that something went wrong. Anyone out there knowing whats wrong?

HiDoes it cost anything for a DSP to be added to SONOS app?

So I have a Sonos Play 5 gen1 and a Sonos 1….will I be able to keep them both on the Sonos S1 app?  Or do i have to move the Sonos 1 to the S2 app? and keep the 5 gen 1 on the S1 app?  I just want my sonos to work together… 

I have 10 Sonos Devices - all have worked fine for years/months without issue - however all of a sudden (past month maybe more) the Sonos App cannot see multiple devices or sometimes the entire system.  Other apps (such as spotify) can see them - and if you physicially press play on the devices they continue to play the last playlist so are connected to wifi.It’s completely random,  somtimes the app sees all. sometimes none and sometimes just one - they are all connected via Wifi.I’ve triedcomplete factory reset on my home router (BT)  - no change Factory reset of one/two devices but no change - no change I’ve attempted evey change on the forums (2.4 channel change, re assign nwk, find system etc.)  - no change uninstalled the app on all iphones/ipads - no change I’ve done the above multiple times with different results at different times - when you finally think evything is working again the app allows you contorl devices for a short period of time and then loses them again. Is there

First of all; I am totally new to Sonos and have never owned a Sonos product before. After reading good reviews, I was thinking of getting 3x Sonos One for a hotel lobby. We are aiming to just play relaxing background music so I thought they would be perfect to syncronize them through some different rooms. However, I am a bit concerned that guests might be able to connect to the speakers and play their own music. If I establish a second WiFi and connect the Sonos to them, and disable Alexa/Google Assistant, will that be enough to avoid people from connecting, or can they still connect through cast/airplay? 

My Sonos roam will connect and play music on its own, but when I try to group my kitchen Sonos and it together it won’t play music!! You can stop and start music from either one but it won’t play, and vice versa when I play the kitchen Sonos then try and group the roam. Any help would be much appreciated.

I recently bought the Sonos Roam and I'm loving it. I use it both at home, at work and I'm planning to bring it to my summerhouse. All of these three have different systems and I can't get it to work with two separate systems. It’s connected to the system that I have at home, but I can't get it to work without bluetooth when I'm at work.  I’m wondering if there's a solution to this, can I connect it to two different systems and make it show up as a normal speaker in the sonos app?

Dear all When I’m starting the Sonos App from my Samsung Galaxy S10, then It never passes the startscreen. I just allways see this screnn, but no changes. I looks like a freeze.Meanwhile my friends can connect to sonos and play music.It also worked some time ago in the past.Currently the App version is the latest 11.2.7 - updated on 30. March 2021) Can you please help.RegardsAlexander  

When I browse using the ‘On My Mobile Device’ option, the music isn’t showing up against the Genre filter. The correct Genres are listed but when select, I just get ‘No selections are available’. Selections are available under Album & Artist.I am using a Samsung Android phone and the S2 app. Any help much appreciated.

Hello,I recently bought a Sonos beam in which I have it connected to an LG 4K tv thru HDMI (ARC). Every time I go to watch tv and have the audio play through the beam - it’s fine. When I want to switch over to music my beam gets disconnected from the APP in which I have to do the “let’s fix this” steps. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this and seemingly switch from TV audio to music? The Beam is connected via WIFI. I have the TV autoplay set to off. TV audio always works, just playing music bugs it out for some reason. 

I have the Pro-Ject T1 turntable (built in preamp), Sonos port and Sonos Play:1 speakers. I have connected the turntable to the Sonos port and the port source level on the app is at high (level 10) and the volume on my Sonos app is allll the way up at the highest level. The sound from my speakers is medium low at best. How do I get louder sound? 

I have an existing 5.1 Non Sonos in ceiling surround home theater system wired to a Yamaha A/V Receiver. I would like to eliminate the receiver and add an ARC for Front Speakers and use the in ceiling speakers for surround speakers. I was planning on using a Non Sonos amp to power the ceiling speakers. Is this possible?  I was also planning to add a Port to this system to listen to music services. thx 

I just got my first Sonos, a Roam. I have Alexa enabled. I also have Wi-Fi color changing lights from Feit.  If tell the Alexa through the Roam to turn on the lights, it’s fine. If I tell it to change to a color, it tells me device not found. This isn’t an issue on my Amazon Alexa devices. Any idea how to fix this? Thank you in advance for your advice. 

Hi, my sonos playbar has a flashing green light and somehow is now not on my system in the room. Have tried to add again but it is not being picked up by the wifi. I have no sound??? The sub, play 3 and play 1 are all good.

HI - I have a Sonos Arc and I’d like to get the true surround sound experience and I’m thinking of getting a Sonos One (voice control) or Sonos SL (no voice control/microphone free).  The Arc has voice control - would getting the Sonos One be redundant to have another Amazon Alexa device in the room?  Any thoughts?  I’m thinking maybe I should just get a set of the Sonos SL - but - I thought if one day I move them to a room that doesn’t have the Arc..it might be nice to have the voice controls.  Any thoughts?  Thanks! - Kevin

I have a Pixel 3XL and a new Sonos Roam (among some other Sonos products).  I am unable to bluetooth pair my Pixel with the Roam.  I’ve been able to pair the Roam to my wife’s Pixel 4a, and my son’s android tablet.  I’ve been able to pair another speaker to my Pixel.  I don’t know what the problem is.  I go through the simple steps, and see Sonos Roam (SONOS 3EC8) on the list.  When I attempt to pair, it goes gray for a few seconds and then back to white, like it never happened. Is there a way to solve this? 

I’d like to setup a soundbar in my house and I really like the look and specs of the Sonos Arc but I’m not interested in any connected features.  I just want the sound out from my TV.  Can the unit be operated without any network connection at all?

Hi there We have 4 Sonos 1 and recently added a roam toour system. In the past few weeks the app has kept losing our system and requires resetting. it repeatedly drops and seems to happen within a few hours of reestablishing. It’s pretty much left the system unusable To get the system working again we have to switch our WiFi hub (BT) off and then in again and it eventually appears Nothing much has happened that may impact this but we have recently added TP-Link Powerline (I think what they essentially do is plug into your router and then you plug in elsewhere and can run internet off an Ethernet cable - needed to do this to get WiFi in our garage).We have tried repeatedly to reestablish but the only way it fixes is as described above Any help or advice welcomed.

I installed a new Sonos Roam to my actual system, composed by some Ones, some Symfonisk and a Sonos Boost. After the process the Roam is not showing up in my System, but strangely if I chose the option “Change Network” I have the option to change its network together with the other speakers.My network is composed by a Salt Fiber Box (Swiss Provider) with 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz network, and the boost connected to it.

Hi, I have a pair of Sonos Play:1 speaker which have been of limited use due to limited connectivity (no AirPlay support and requirement to get premium plans on Spotify/ and other streaming services via Sonos App)With the new Roam and AirPlay and/or bluetooth support - can I :AirPlay from iphone to Roam which then pairs & relays to Play:1 Connect fireTV to Roam (bluetooth) which then relays to Play:1Option 2 is to use Sonos S1 instead of Roam - with the downside that S1 does not gives you the portability of Roam

If i have an arc, sub gen3 and 2 one sl can I get a would they work with the Sonos amp if i wanted to connect a non Sonos sup to the amp! Would they all work together? Plus i have theater seats with sound shakers in them that require being hooked to a amplifier  

So the Roam is supposed to have a “swap” ability (swap music to and from another Sonos speaker) - by pressing and holding the play button.   But what if I want to press and hold the play button on the Roam to “group” with other speakers already playing in the house  - as I can do now with other Sonos speakers (not swap). Is that still possible with the Roam using the press/hold on play (if so, how is that differentiated from the “swap” function)?   I know the app could do this regardless, but wondering if you can group a Roam by holding the play button (instead of opening the app)?  

We just bought a couple of new Sonos One SL’s, and aren’t able to add them to our system.  When trying to set them up, they get found, but the setup process doesn’t finish.  We get to the chime step, but the connection never completes.We added a couple of new One SL’s last fall, so they should be compatible.  We did replace the wi-fi router, but our Connect:Amp is hard wired to the internet.  Rebooted everything.We’re still running Sonos S1 on an iPhone, since we have non-compatible devices (an old Connect:Amp).Any thoughts?Thanks!
