Greetings Sono community.  I have had the Playbar for several months now, recently added the Move and just got my AMP last night. So I am trying to get the most out of the set up, I am seeking guidance in making that happen. I have the TV (big Samsung) hooked up to the Playbar via optical.  HDMI ARC from TV to AMP. I’ve got the Move in another room. And will be hooking up my outdoor speakers via banana plugs to the amp soon. (when I have tiiiime).  I also added the LP-120 turntable via Line In. Here is my current issue. I do not know how to use the Playbar independently via the Amp without the TV on.  Example: fire up some music and stream via Amp to PB, and Move in the other room with the TV Off.  Playbar - set up as ‘living room’AMP - set up as “Main Room”Move - set up as ‘Kitchen’Full disclosure, I have not yet connected either the PB or Amp to ethernet.  They are on my main house Wifi until I do.  Can anyone advise if what I am trying to do above outlined in bold is possible, and i

Please help us fix our system!We have 3 Play:1, 1 Play:3, and a Move. The play:3 has been having issues staying continuously connected for a couple months now. It was setup on a completely wireless system, but since then I hard wired the play:3 directly to the main network switch about a month ago. The play:3 continues to disconnect when playing and can at times be hard to bring into a group of speakers or just to get it to play at all. Today, the move also started cutting out. Nothing has changed on the network. TuneIn, Spotify, Local Music The behavior is always the same. I can recreate it by playing music - it happens at random, but reasonably frequently. Generally music stops playing for 1-3 seconds at least once each 5-10 minutes. Diagnostic number is 1649784927

Do I need any special hdmi lead to use atmos ?

have a Samsung UE65RU7025 TV.I have Movistar TV cable service in Spain.Everything worked perfectly with the Samsung One remote.A single remote control for everything.I have purchased the Sonos Arc + Subwoffer.The remote control for Movistar has stopped working.Any solution?Thanks.

I use my Sonos system (a bunch of Ones, Beam, Sub) throughout my apartment for both TV and Music. I always have to make volume and EQ adjustments when I switch between the two. Is there a way to create different default settings for TV vs music? If not, I guess this is a feature request 🙂

I’ve seen this problem in the community a few times.  I have a completely S1 set of hardware working fine with Android and MacOS controllers.  The Windows 10 controller on a laptop stopped working (see two screenshots - the installation suggests that the existing system has been found, and then “Sorry, we can’t connect” back in the app).  Has anyone got a routine way of addressing this?  I’ve uninstalled the S1 controller, downloaded from Sonos.com and installed again - same issue.  It used to work fine on Windows 10, but sometime last year it stopped working.

I'm looking to order a speaker set consisting of the Arc, sub and 2 Ones. Sonos is showing out of stock. Does anybody know when the likelihood of these being available to order?.…Seems like either Sonos is hugely popular or their stock management is pretty non existent. After reading a few comments its not looking good. Appreciate the unprecedented times we're facing but you would think given the quality of the product its a shame the online ordering is not so good. 

I have the following setup:Arc One 2 x One SL (paired in surround with the Arc) SYMFONISKAll running S2 v12.2.2My router is a Unifi UDM PRO running v1.8.6 firmware.  I have two Unifi AC-HD access points running firmware 4.3.2811361.All five speakers have DHCP reservations from the router. I’m running a 24-bit subnet with no VLANs.The Arc is wired (WM: 0), but all the other speakers are wireless (WM: 1).When I use the Sonos app to play a Spotify track, everything is fine playing to the Arc or the One.  If I try to play to the SYMFONISK, it fails with the message “Spotify - Unable to play (track) - the connection to Spotify was lost” and skips to the next track which also fails with that message, and so on until the end of the playlist.If I try from the Spotify app to connect to the SYMFONISK, it fails to connect without any error message.I have rebooted the router, changed the DHCP reservations, power cycled the speakers and factory reset some of them but I still have the same issue.Thi

Hello, I just wired with ethernet cat 6 my entire flat and decided to go to an all wired setup for my sonos system and everything seems to work just great after disabling wi-fi in all the devices and removing a sonos boost that was part of the setup. The problem Im having is only with the rears of my Arc+sub+2xplays 1s in my living room. They keep cutting out constantly. It is like the ambient sound cuts for half a second and comes back again immediately after but it just doesnt happen once, it keeps happening every ten seconds or so.And I think it only happens with dolby atmos (both TRUEHD and lossy one) on both my shieldTV and apple tv 4kAlready sent a diagnostic while it was happening with the number 809032159is there anything I can troubleshoot? It is a really annoying issue. thanks in advance

Since upgrading to S2, connect stopped working. call tech support. they say I have to replace the unit. Is this normal? 

Hi! Does the TVs eARC port must also be HDMI 2.1 so that it's possible to have Atmos via TrueHD on Sonos Arc? What is the minimal HDMI version on eARC port to ensure Atmos via TrueHD from TV (assuming that TV sends/passes through Atmos via TrueHD)? Thanks!

Just now, 4:30PM eastern, 2021-02-28 all of my S1 controllers fail to find my Sonos systems.All a re at S1.  No S2.  I have Connect devices that must stay at S1, so my entire system is at S1.I have tried resetting individual systems - to no effect.Less than a week ago, I was given the option of “staying with” the S1 system.  Up until then, I got regular nag notices that I needed to upgrade to S2.  I do not want to do that.  I’m not sure if this is related, but it is a change within the last week.I have tried the S1 controller on Windows 10, iOS, and Android systems - all fail with the same message “Existing system not found.” Anyone else?Any ideas? 

Hello, i have 2 pairs of Play 1 + 1 sub (+ 1 connect for turntable)I want to create a 4.1 home cinema set, using 1 pair of Play1 as front speakers + 1 pair of Play1 as surround speakers + 1 subI paired each pair of play 1 together + grouped sub with the front speakers pair.my problem now is that system doesn t allow me to add surrounds speakers to the 2xPlay1+Sub group … anyone knows how I could have a turnaround here ?thanks in advance.

Typically my morning alarm has me waking up to CBC Radio One Vancouver, but since Monday morning I’ve been waking up to the Sonos chime which historically meant a problem on my local network but if you drill down into the CBC service within the Sonos app, none of the selections under CBC Radio One are currently available. The CBC Music On Air (CBC Radio 2) remain available. I’ve tried removing and re-adding this integration but to no avail. Does anyone know where to go to have this looked into? I don’t know who is responsible for this integration, Sonos or CBC? I’m assuming CBC made a change to their feeds for Radio One that hasn’t been updated within the Sonos integration. The specific radio station is still available via TuneIn which is my workaround for now.

Hi -I cannot get my gen 1 connect amp working with S1 app over wifi, only with ethernet cable. I have read other messages here saying to go into advanced network settings to update wifi password.I don’t see where this is possible, only a setting for wifi is enabled or not.Can someone please suggest how to get connect amp working with wifi?thanks!!

SO many posts for SO long. I and SO many others are absolutely FED UP with how buggy and unsupported this “premium” product is. It pains me every time I watch that I have to power cycle the Arc in hopes it will have continuous sound.  And with having to keep eArc off, a premium feature I paid for, for some hope of stability on power cycling just to get through a movie is inexcusable.   When is the fix coming??  I am concerned it is hardware at this point, given how long it has been widely known.  If that ends up being the case, I expect full refund.   I have Sonos everywhere in my home, inside and out.  At this point I want to put it all in one giant box and send it back.  I am THAT fed up with the ecosystem I used to love.  

I normally use spotify to stream music. Now I need Apple Music instead. But when i stream as I do with spotify, I cant leave the network. I hve set up the apple music the same way as with spotify. what am I doing wrong???

I have Playbase and 2 one’s. I just did the latest update to the app and gear on 3/9/21. Every time I turn off the Apple TV or listen to music, Sonos defaults the tv sound to my tv and music for the Sonos. I have auto play tv checked. 

As per title.  On my laptop I can delete the queue but only able to when I click top right of a song.  But same happen with next choice?

I have two Beam units connected to Two LG OS TVs  they have worked faultlessly for two years connected to the HDMI(ARC) inputs alongside the HDMI input from a SKY+ box then along came Sonos 2. I have spent the last 3 weeks using every combination of set up routine reading all the forums and some common sense and have ended up using the Optical adapter which is acceptable up to a point and that point is... why should I have too ?,What have the Sonos engineers changed that has caused this?  The System will work with the Beam in the ARC  socket completely without fault with the TV recieving terrestial TV signals from the antenna socket and no other HDMI connection used.Next stage ..as soon as you switch to HDMI 1 the sound either mutes or defaults to internal speakersEmtering the TV setup and selecting HDMI(ARC) out has no effect as the beam looses the conection, open the APP and try to re connect the unit has no effect as it contunually reports no  connection  or  another HDMI signal is

Hi. I have just moved house and seriously thinking of extending my current two play3s into a house wide setup with two 5s in the lounge, the 3s in the dining room and 1s in the kitchen and bedroom. Trying to ascertain if I could gain improvement to music quality by using a dedicated streamer/amp/DAC of some description rather than using my pc?If you could offer advice that would be appreciated. Cheers. 

I have 8 Sonos AMP, 1 Sonos Playbar, and 1 Sonos Move. The AMPs and the Playbar are connected to a Sonos Bridge, which is itself hardwired to the router.In the Alexa mobile app, the 8 AMP each have a duplicate entry of the form “[AMP name] TV”This is creating confusion for Alexa voice control.Deleting the duplicate “TV” devices from the Alexa mobile app works for a period of time, but they later reappear.Powering down everything and rebooting everything does not help. The duplicate devices reappear.[Disabling the devices in Alexa doesn't seem to solve the confusion issue, but I recognize that’s not a Sonos issue and not a topic for this forum,]I would like to not have the diupliate entries in the Alexa app.Ideas?  

I'm finishing my basement and don't want to have Echos and Sonos speakers everywhere. The Sonos One speakers are great because they have microphones and Alexa built in. Do the ceiling speakers or wall speakers have this same capability? I only see the app and airplay as controls (which is weak).
