Hi,

I currently have a Beam, Sub and 2x Sonos Ones. Beam and sub are working great and both Sonos Ones connect as single speakers with no issues.

When I come to group them all as a surround sound group, both Sonos Ones are undiscoverable by the app and I have to factory rest both Sonos Ones.

Any ideas what is going wrong here?

Before you add the Ones as surrounds, be sure they are separated as a stereo pair. Read more here:

Also, be sure WiFi is enabled on the Beam.

@GuitarSuperstar for some reason the Sonos Ones can connect as individual units or as a stereo pair , in both the same room or separate rooms.

However when trying to set them up as a surround sound group I get a ‘There was a problem adding your surrounds. Check the network connection and make sure your products are powered on’

I have tried multiple resets on all speakers and they have full wifi connection.

Can you temporarily wire the Beam directly to your router with an ethernet cable and try to connect the Ones as surrounds again?

Thanks again for a solution @GuitarSuperstar. However still nothing. Every time I go to connect the Sonos Ones (which are working fine as single speakers) they become unresponsive (flashing white light) and have to be factory reset.

What router are you using? Is WiFi enabled on the Beam in the Sonos app?

You also might want to check for any WiFi interference:
