Does anyone know if it’s possible to bluetooth music to the original play 1,3,5 speakers …
I want to be able to play from like the bbc sounds app but can’t see this is possible ( or using the airplay option )
Feels like I’m being forced to upgrade all my speakers for a basic functionality- I have 5 …

Your play:1 and play:3 do not have bluetooth or airplay 2 capabilities. The play:5 gen 2 can do airplay...not sure what gen you have.

You could also look at getting a bluetooth receiver device connected to the aux input on your play:5
