Hi, Newbie connection problemMy friend gave me his playbar and bridge and I'm looking to use it as a music speaker, I've never owned a Sonos product before so completely new to it, I've factory reset both and they have both have got green flashing lights, I've downloaded both sonos apps because I wasn't sure which to use, the S2 app found the bridge but not the playbar and said it was incompatible and that I should use the S1 app but that won't find either the bridge or the playbar I have the bridge plugged into my router via Ethernet, I've been searching the internet to find a solution, help I just want to play some musicThanks     

Please help, I’m going crazy with this. I have multiple Ports and a Move (no soundbar), and I can’t get the Sub 3 to connect to anything. I’ve reset the Sub countless times, but it can’t get assigned to anything. So it just sits there like a paperweight laughing at me. Any help would be great, thank you!!

Hi Guys and Gals.  Since last night I have lost my surround sound capability. Was working perfectly fine. Came through about 2am and notice one of them pulsing white light.  Looked on the app this morning and found this on the app. So with this I deleted them off the system and had to reset to factory settings to see them again of the system. Connected them up again, worked fine individually. But as soon as you connect them to surroundsound and error occurs halfway through the set up and knocks out the two speakers. Thus having to reset them to factory settings again I’ll start the whole process again. 

Looking at Amp for existing outdoor speakers as well as one for hooking up to existing high end floor speakers. Want to optimize the output without overkill. Does anyone have a recommendation for either of these?

Hi,  I am seriously considering purchasing a pair of IKEA Symfonisk lamps, but just have a quick question regarding controlling the volume.  If I pair them up, I’m aware that using the app I can adjust the volume and it will adjust them both together. That’s great and what I would want. What happens if I use the volume buttons on the lamp itself though. Would it adjust the lamp on the other side of the bed as well?(again, if paired)This is what I’m hoping will be the case, but wanted to clarify before going and getting them.  Thank you! 

Hello.I have two Sonos Fives.When I connect a turntable to Sonos Five and listen to a record, there is no sound from one of the speakers. I unpaired and reconfigured, but it didn't improve. Is there any way to improve it?

Yesterday I registered for the developer portal (integration.sonos.com) and successfully logged in, developed my first PoC. but today the login doesn’t work.When I try to log in, it’s telling me password or username error.When I try to reset the password, the password reset page redirects me to the “SONOS - Looks like something went wrong!” page.Also when I try to register for a new account with different mail address, at the end of the registration page it’s showing me the error page, and no account activation mail is sent.I reported it already to the 24/7 support agent, but seems I am the first reporting the issue today - even if it occured already an hour ago and is still ongoing. Do others experience same issue, or does the login or account registration or password reset on developer.sonos.com / integration.sonos.com work for you?

I have one Sonos in my bedroom, and can only connect to it when in the same room physically. Even if I start it when I'm on the room, when I leave it disconnects. Any suggestions?

I have only two components, a Sonos Boost directly connected to my router and a Sonos Port connected by Wi-Fi from the Boost in my listening Room.This arrangement has previously worked together well, but now the Boost has disappeared and I can only get the Sonos Port working again by moving it and connecting directly to my router.Any tips for a solution would be appreciated? 

I am enjoying listening to Amazon Unlimited Music on my Sonos Move speaker on the patio.  Since I can just say “Alexa, play oldies on my Sonos Move,” I am insulated from the details of the connection, but I am curious.  I assume this connection takes place over my home WiFi network, but I wonder if it is possible, after my Amazon music session has been shut down, if my friend can then pair his phone (which has no Alexa app and no Sonos app) with the Sonos Move speaker.  Thanks for helping me understand the details.  Ken Traynham

Hello All,My Sonos app 13.1 on Android 11 phone is failing to find my Sonos Arc which is connected via Ethernet cable and my Sonos Move connected via WiFi.  Both devices are replying to pings and I am still able to select each speaker to play to from all my streaming applications. But as the Sonos app is not finding the speakers I am unable to group them together.I have tried resetting the application settings and now am unable to “join existing system” and when I try to sign into my account it fails stating it can’t find my Sonos system. I have not made any network changes and have turned off the 5GHz band as I read this could cause issues switching between frequencies.Now when I try to log back into the application it states “Network Problem” and to check my internet connection and check the time on my device to ensure they are correct. And a full reboot of my router and speakers has been completed multiple times. Any more suggestions would be appreciated. CheersKip

With the Sonos Arc, can I use a Play One and a Sonos One as the rear surround speakers?Do I need a Sub or does the Arc provide the Sub qualities?

I’ve seen some prior discussion on this, with no specific resolution.I have two identical Connect S15 units.  Both are on wired connections, not WiFi.  One recently started going offline (does not even respond to ping).  This repairs on reset, the unit works for a few minutes then goes offline again.No changes to the network, the other unit works fine.  I’ve tried swapping their positions in the house, no change.  Factory reset didn’t help.Sounds like a HW failure, are there any easy repairs?

There’s no location in my space for a sub woofer but wondering if surround speakers like SL’s are worth it or a waste of time.  Thoughts? 

I have purchased a Sonos Beam and very happy with it but unfortunately my TV will not connect as it does not have HDMI Arc or optical out. So I am upgrading my TV but Most TVs now seem to have HDMI EArc and not just HDMI Arc will my new Sonos Beam work with HDMI EArc?Are there any TV brands that have issues that I should avoid.Thank You

I have 2 roams and factory reset both but when I reconnected one the other stopped flashing green and will no longer connect or turn on but will charge what can I do ?

I have upgraded from an Asus WiFi router to an Asus ZenWifi Mesh system.It’s running in Tri-Band SmartConnect mode with a wired backhaul.The “airtime fairness” system is disabled. (It was by default)Have tried going through the reconnection steps in the Sonos app on an Android and an iOS device.Connecting the phone to the 2.4Ghz band didn’t seem to make any difference.The app goes through the steps involving pressing the top two buttons and the pressing the top and bottom buttons until each speaker chimes (more of a chirp) and the light flashes orange.The first few times the Play 1 and Play 3 process has completed fine but when I next reopen the Sonos app it’s once again showing greyed out options.Rebooting the Asus hasn’t helped.Only turning on the primary router hasn’t helped. I can see that both Sonos speakers are connected in the Asus router network map. I have tied wired ethernet connection with the Play 1 and that works but once removed the Sonos app again reports it’s unable to

Hi, I am on my iPhone trying to log out of the account linked to my Sonos system to log into another account in the same phone but it will not forget the old account and/or let me sign into a new one. The email address is pre saved when I go to the log on screen and can’t be deleted. I have followed all the steps of logging out, changing system ownership and changed my new account password 3 times so I am 100 percent sure the details are correct. Can anyone help please??! thanks!!

Hi,I have a Sonos Amp connected to a Preamp.  The Preamp has a turntable and a CD player.I link the Sonos Amp to different speakers around my house (a paired set of Play 5s + Sub, and two Beams)I have been unable to play music from these sources because the Line-In is not working.  In the app I get a message saying “Line-In has been disabled on this Sonos system”. However, I have not disabled anything.  My set up was working flawlessly yesterday and I haven’t faced this problem before.I rebooted my router and the Amp, jointly and separately, in different orders. I’ve also checked the Line-In connections.  Nothing appears to work.I requested a diagnostic report. The confirmation number is 2146337480.Thank you very much.

Hi, My Sonos system comprises round 10 Play:1, several Play:3. All works brilliantly and I love it. Moved over to Sonos Radio and very pleased … apart from one thing.Every 10-14 days alarms stop working first thing - I get the infernal chime instead of Radio 4 at 630am! When I check the app it says radio needs reauthorised. When I click to authorise it all works fine again and stays that way for another period of time before the whole saga starts again. This has now happened maybe 5 or 6 times.Is there any way to make the authorisation permanent? I don’t have this authorise problem with Apple Music or Spotify. It is rather annoying as always appears on a 630am alarm then I need to fiddle around to get Radio 4 for wakeup!If anyone can offer any assistance I would be very grateful. Hi,I recently upgraded my broadband and router and since then I have lost the system on the app. If I log into the app it tells me that it is “Unable to connect to Sonos Let’s fix it”. If I select then takes me through some steps and I select one of my products, press the buttons and connect. The App then says “Sonos” Wants to Join Wi-Fi Network “SONOS”?” so I click Join and after a short while I get the message “Unable to join the network "SONOS"”. I’m the told my mobile device couldn’t connect to my Playbar and to move closer and make sure it’s powered onI’ve checked all the App permissions and they are OK. The devices work on my TV (Playbar, Sub and two Play:1’s), in the Kitchen via the Alexa App (Play) and bedroom (Play). I’ve deleted the App and reloaded it with no joy. I don’t have a Wi-Fi Network called “SONOS” and don’t recall ever seeing one.Help!! I’m rapidly getting Tourettes   

I have a Beam with two Sonos One surrounds, and it's my understanding that the mics on the Sonos Ones are by default OFF, and that the Beam is the only one with mic input for Alexa. Is there a way to turn on the mics on the Ones? I ask because I'm usually closer to the Ones than the Beam when using Alexa, and Alexa on the Beam usually has trouble hearing me (I usually have to yell). Thanks!

Got my Roam a few weeks ago, connected to my system and played a few songs to test it out.  Came back to it and it’s now missing from the app. The light is blinking orange when not charging and solid orange when charging.  one of the help articles instructed me to do a factory reset which starts by unplugging and press/hold the rear button until I hear a chime. But I never hear a chime and it never turns off.  I can’t get the rear button to do anything and thus can’t reconnect it.  ideas? -    

Anyone else getting a message on the Sonos App Apple Music is experiencing a full outage? Anyone know what this means?
