HiI have a One and One SL set up as surrounds to my Beam which work great.  I want to keep this so that the One/SL kick in with the Beam as they do now when I turn on the TV.But I was wondering whether there is a way to have the One/SL work as a stereo pair (isolated from the Beam) when the TV is off so I can stream from my Android mobile for stereo sound, but then revert to surrounds automatically when the TV is turned on..I know I can do this by ungrouping the One/SL as surrounds and manually set them up as a stereo pair, then changing them back to surrounds when i want to watch TV but i was hoping there was a way to set this up automatically?  Is that what Ungroup on Autoplay would do?Cheers

My Sonos Beam keeps losing the connection from the app and from my Spotify list of devices.The Beam is still connected to WiFi as I am still able to use the Alexa voice control to play music from Spotify or Amazon.To find the Beam again I would have to keep switching off and on the router. The Beam would reconnect with the app again but then the next day would have disappeared again. Very frustrating. It was obvious that something was happening overnight for this to occur again and again.I have since switched off the option for the Beam to check for updates automatically overnight. Since I have done this, the problem of the Beam disappearing from the app and the Spotify list of devices has been solved.So although this solution works, I now have to manually check every now and again for updates. This isn’t ideal and I feel it must have been in an update for this problem to suddenly occur. I had had the Beam for 6 or 7 months with no problem like this at all and my Wifi network at home i

I was a big fan and as I have added to the devices it has become harder to install. The app and the Arc keep forgetting each other and have to go thru a list of questions that show me the Arc then it says not found. The iPhone app does not stay active when the screen times out. Have to log back on the iPhone to mute or unmute it is just easier to use the TV controller. The Arc can not be controlled by the Virgin controller. I will not be buying any more Sonos devices as the whole system has become cumbersome and slow and unreliable.Even registration for this forum asks questions which I answered but the username was not unique and I had to answer them again and then again because I did not acknowledge the terms. It seems unlikely that any of my choices would have changed I. The 5 seconds between attempts. Do they not test S2 and the registration process with real users.

Hi,Have been experimenting to try and understand/resolve the nature of this problem but not able to, so need some help if possible!Have 3 x Play:1s, recently noticed that only a single Play:1 was visible in Mobile App (S2 on Android, Samsung S21). However, I have found that all 3 are visible in Controller App on Windows 10.The speaker that was visible was connected to a BT Smart Disc Extender. If I ensure the mobile phone is connected to the Extender, it doesnt have any impact. If I disconnect the Extender, the speaker disappears completely and Sonos reports no active speakers. However, all 3 remain active in Sonos Controller App on Windows 10.If I connect one Speaker to the router directly via Ethernet, with the Extender still turned off, all speakers come up and are visible in both the Controller App and the S2 app on Mobile.If I then remove the Ethernet cable, the speakers remain connected and visible in both apps for a short period but eventually they all disappear from the Sonos S

I have a simple system using three Play:1 units and two Play:5 (gen2) devices.  I was using the Sonos S1 app on iOS, but after trying to resolve this issue I decided to see if the S2 app would resolve the issue.  Spoiler, it didn’t.The system has been up and running for several years without issue.  Yesterday none of the devices were showing up on the app interface.  I called Sonos support and they helped troubleshoot for about 2 hours, but ultimately laid blame with my ISP router.  They indicated that the problem appeared to be that my router was “converting multicast into unicast”.  So I reached out to my ISP (AT&T) for support and we proceeded to troubleshoot for 5 additional hours with only a tiny bit of success.I gave up and went to sleep and resumed troubleshooting on my own this morning.   I was able to get some of the devices connected to my account again, but one of the Play:5 units gave me trouble.  I reset all the devices back to factory settings and started over.  But t

Just signed up for Sonos Radio HD, but can’t for the life of me find the ‘Sleep’ stations with white/pink noise etc. Do they exist? I know they were mentioned in all the press releases when the HD subscription was launched in November, and a ‘Pink Noise’ channel image is shown at the bottom of the promo page.

Hello,I received the Roam sound system for 2 days and it no longer responds at all despite the on / off button pressed, the play / pause buttons pressed and not even the possibility of reinitializing. Only a white light is constantly on above the "micro" logo. Has anyone ever had this problem and was able to solve it?thank you !

I bought the new Sonos Move speaker right when it came out a few weeks ago and when I got it I set it up with my existing Sonos system but haven’t tried using it since until today. My Sonos app shows that the Move speaker is “offline” so I started troubleshooting the problem with some of the feedback I’ve seen on this forum and Sonos’ website but haven’t had any luck figuring out what is wrong with the speaker. When I took it off the charger I noticed that the light on the top is solid white and it’s like the speaker is completely frozen because it won’t do anything when you press or hold down any buttons. I have tried to factory reset the speaker using the directions found on this forum but the speaker doesn’t do anything at all (but that white light has stayed solid on the top of the speaker) Has anyone had similar issues with the Sonos Move speaker or have any feedback of what I can try next to get it working? I’ve never had an issue like this with any of my other Sonos speakers

I have a pair of ones (a one and a one sl) in my living room that I have paired in stereo which is great for music.Thinking of getting a beam so I can have surround sound for my TV too but wanted to know if I set my ones up as surrounds for film/TV, can I still use them as a stereo pair for music?Don't want to commit to buying and then find out they can only do one or the other!! 

Hi all,I have a Sonos Connect connected to a new Yamaha receiver (Yamaha TSR 700). I’m having trouble with the settings involved in getting the sound from music coming from Connect+Receiver to align with the sound coming from my other Sonos speakers throughoug the house.  We think the sound coming from the Play 5, Sonos One, Beam, and Move is ahead of the sound coming out of the Connect + Receiver. Very slightly, but with the more brassy tones it is pretty noticeable.  I solved this before with an old receiver, but every receiver is different. Hoping this community can help provide some tips on how to solve this. The Yamaha has Scene settings so I can save whatever settings end up working for whole-house listening.  thanks for the help! 

My Connect is hardwired into my router, yet is very flaky: it cuts out and takes a long time to start playing after other devices are going strong. It seems to work fine when ungrouped and playing on its own, but this is not a tenable solution.  I am happy to upgrade the device if its age is the problem.  My mesh WiFi is amazing. Is Sonos using its own WiFi network because the Connect is plugged into the router? My 10 Sonos devices are spread out over a considerable space (big house). Please help! Thanks…...

So I am moving from Arc(Sub) to a stereo setup with Amp and Sub.First of all would like to confirm... The Sub pairs with the Amp wirelessly as with a soundbar, through the app? How does crossover work? Does the Amp detect a 2.1 setup and adjusts a default crossover? If so is it adjustable (70Hz 100Hz etc). Much appreciated. 

I’ve got a large open floor plan room.  At one end Yamaha RX-A780 running a 5.2.2 Atmos config.  This is connected to the Sonos system via the digital audio output of a Sonos Port and is configured as the “den” zone.  At the other end of the room Sonos AMP running  4 in ceiling wired speakers configured as the “dining room” zone.   so here’s the issue:  when using the Sonos app to send music to both the den and the dining room zones simultaneously, the den zone is very noticeably behind the dining room zone I’m sure due to digital processing in the Yamaha receiver.  My efforts to adjust Yamaha settings to minimize digital processing haven’t helped.  Also the Dinning room amp set up has an audio delay setting but this seems to have no effect.  What I’m looking for is a way to delay the dining room to get it to match the den.  If Sonos delay settings don’t work can I get a hardwired physical box to introduce an adjustable delay?

Have not had any issues with my Sonos for a good couple of years, and not made any changes bar a BT router 4 months ago. I have a play 3 linked to router, a play bar downstairs and 4x Sonos 1s dotted about the house. About a week ago my wife couldn’t see any rooms when opening the app on her iPad or iPhone, nor on her desktop app. I could see the system on my iPhone app and on my desktop app but not my iPad. After unplugging the whole system and replugging back in I was able to make the system viewable on all devices, and put it down to maybe a dodgy update overnight.  Today the same issue happened with my wife’s iPhone & iPad but not her desktop. I could see the system with my iPhone, and desktop but not my iPad. I tried running through the reconnect route in the app on the iPad but it always failed when it tried to connect to the Sonos WiFi. I tried this with both the Play 3 and the Playbar. Eventually I restarted the router which seemed to fix it, but later this evening my wife

I have still not seen any feature to enable/disable night mode on my arc at a certain time. I have heard of external apps to do this but they are all on the Apple store not play store which is a problem for my android phone. Alexa also does not seem to be able to modify the night mode setting. I am running out of ideas I have 2 young girls and the ability to schedule this would be so incredibly helpful. 

Going to order the Roam online today. Will the wireless charger work for other devices such as iPhone? Unsure whether to spend the extra money on the wireless charger but definitely would if it were able to charge other devices 

I've just repurposed two Play:1 speakers to act as rear speakers in a surround sound TV setup. I have a Beam connected to my LG TV via HDMI ARC which seems to work fine, receiving Dolby Digital 5.1 from the TV.The first problem I faced was getting both Play:1 speakers connected. For a long time they refused to connect as surround speakers, with the setup routine failing with a non-descript error message ("failed to connect" or similar). After resetting both speakers to factory settings, they eventually connected and the app shows them as "Play:1 (Left)" and "Play:1 (Right)". So far so good!​​​​Unfortunately I'm still not getting full surround sound since the left speaker stays completely silent, whether watching TV or playing music from Spotify. It successfully controls TV audio (e.g. for volume adjustment) but it's not playing any sound. I can’t possibly be the only Sonos user who wants to use their Sonos Ones for stereo versus surround sound am I? My beam is connected to my Google wifi and TV but my speakers are over wifi. We have vaulted ceilings and my Beam is about 10 feet away on the wall. It’s hard to make out words from a speaker so far away and I want to use my Ones as stereo but my only option is to “group them” which is a pain because we have to manually regroup them on our iPhones every single time we turn the TV back on. Don’t even get me started about adjusting the sound while you’re watching the TV. I have to find my phone, then log in with PIN or face, then open the app, then adjust the sound EVERY SINGLE TIME I WANT TO ADJUST THE SOUND. All because I want stereo instead of surround. We can literally fly a helicopter on Mars and Sonos can’t fix this?? Really?? Had I known this I never would have bought the Sonos “system” which isn’t really a system. My sonos five, unable to detect my 5Ghz Wifi. It only appear the 2.4Ghz Wifi. All my other device connected to my 5Ghz Wifi just fine.I try manually type the Wifi network but still unable to connect. 

My arc should arrive Monday or Tuesday of this upcoming week.  Currently I have a playbar and a gen 2 sub and two gen 1 play 1s.  When setting up the Arc would be it best best to just remove the playbar and install the arc or remove verything (playbar, sub, and play 1s) and start from scratch? Thanks for any help.

Can the roam charge wirelessly while laying horizontal?

I just bought an Arc and two Ones. I ran TruePlay and music is fantastic. TV dialog is hard to understand, I've tried several shows and movies.Can I adjust at all? The TV controlled don't allow for HDMI output.Thanks!

Hello all,I’m having trouble getting the surround sound setup for my current setup and don’t really know what the solution would be, My devices are as follows: T.V: Samsung UN65RU7100FXZADevice: PS5Surround System: Arc, One SLx2, Sub I have no issues with streaming services outputting correct Dolby audio as per the app saying it, but when on I’m on PS5 with the av receiver setting selected and 5.1 ch with Linear PCM choosing as well the app only shows Stero PCM. Selecting the bitstream options bring a slight delay which I read was a common issue and there’s not a concrete work around for it so I wanted to just use the LPCM route but this also isn’t working as intended, am I doing something wrong here?

This new feature doesn't seem to work for me with any of my Play1. Works great with my playbar but nothing happens for the Play1 s. 

Any idea when preordered white Roam will be available?
