Figured this topic could use a boost. After reading Lazada reviews and the hapless salesperson confirming that yes, this works with Google Assistant lo and behold i’m facing the same problem.Changing the country profile doesn’t work either, and i’m not going to change my Apple store country and muck up everything else.I’m sure most of us here paid the premium expecting a Google-enabled smart speaker, only to find out the country doesn’t support it. What gives? I have a Google mini and all the Google functionality works, from my google home devices to spotify. Why not Sonos?

I have a sonos surround setup with a beam and 2 play ones in living room. Is it possible to play music only on one speaker within the group? Let’s say I want to play only on the left side play 1. Is that possible? I use the android app.

I have a Sonos Beam and two Sonos One speakers that I have in surround sound mode. Sometimes I move the Sonos ones and put them on my back porch to stream music. I have to remove the surrounds from the Beam  then pair the two Sonos ones in stereo mode. When I'm done listening I have to remove stereo mode from the ones and then reconnect into surround mode. It's really a pain to do all of this and takes quite a while. I would love if Sonos could add profiles to the Sonos app so that I could quickly switch my system configuration without going through all of the manual processes. Has any thought been giving to doing something like this?

A minor question: in applying the latest update to my twelve unit S1 system, I ran into a problem that was resolved once a bridge was powered off per Sonos troubleshooting advice, which also recommends permanently deleting the bridge. I managed to get all units updated by some further antics, and now all - including both bridges - are on the latest S1 version. Why though is the bridge in such disfavour? I find that my bridge units, one of which is also the root bridge, work fine and serve a purpose...and when they don’t if hardware fails, I won’t complain. But till then?

I am getting totally frustrated with Sonos.  As a system, I think they sound and work great.  Their ability to Integrate with third party music services is beyond horrible.  It sort of reminds me of the old days with my Squeezebox (Logitech Media Server), The LMS was indeed powerful, but needed constant babysitting to do what you needed/wanted it to do and to keep it running, but it had a nice user community that were able to contribute.  I don’t miss all the trouble shooting I had to do, but I do miss the support from the user community. So lets move on, and after this gets posted, I’m sure a representative from Sonos will kindly post a reply along the lines of “thank you for reaching out to us bla bla bla…./  we will forward that to our development team bla bla bla…./  we are currently looking into that, but have no ETA into your problem...bla bla bla.  I’ve noticed that sort of recurring answer here on the Sonos boards, polite yes, helpful no.  This Is a major frustration I have rea

I received my Sonos roam two days ago & I have been having numerous issues since getting it. This is my first time buying a Sonos product and I’m quite upset. My issues 1. First it wasn’t connecting to WiFi (it keeps getting stuck on the press play button to continue after it recognizes my phone). I let it go and then used bluetooth.2. Now, it’s not powering on or off. I’ve charged it for 6 hours, using multiple different types for charged and outlet. It’s still blinking orange. It’s not even turning it off. I’ve held the power button for 5-10 seconds, even a minute and nothing. It continues to blink orange. 3. It’s not getting out of this stage now. It’s just stuck blinking orange for the past day. No matter how much I charge or what buttons I press or hold. any idea? 

I have one Sonos One SL and two Play:5 gen 1 and so I use the Sonos S1 app on my iPhone. I now want to switch to a new wifi network but it seems to me that I cannot just choose that in the app. Is there an easy fix for this? Or do I eg need to reset speakers and/or delete and download app again? Thanks in advance

Hi there,im currently building a stud wall to house the tv and ARC sound bar. Because the bar is going to be recessed is there a certain clearance needed for the side and upwards firing speakers? many thanks

I have two Play:3 speakers that keep dropping from the system after I "upgraded" to the S2 app. The Sonos One I have seems to stay connected. I'm able to get the system to recognize the Play:3 speakers by unplugging them and rebooting the router, but they keep disappearing. As of right now, they are not available on my S2 app, but I can access both of them through the Alexa app and they do play music. So, I don't think it's a connectivity issue. I'd prefer to be able to go through the Sonos app as I can't group the players in the Alexa app. Any advice??

My Sonos equipment has been working fine for many years.  Over the last several weeks, I have intermittently not been able to play music in my living room (2 Play5 paired speakers), but the rest of my Sonos equipment is working fine.  If I rebooted my wifi, the living room would typically work again...possibly for a day or two or perhaps just hours.  Now the living room will not play, even after rebooting wifi. What I have discovered is that if I group the living room with a room that is already playing, the living room will also play.  If I ungroup, then the living room will stop playing.

I’m finalising plans to replace my hifi with a Sonos Beam and Sonos One SL set up. I’ve read that combining these components as a 5.1 set up (bonding the speakers) means the Sonos Ones would not be accessible for Airplay if I just want to play music. My questions are:- In  a TV surround setup with these components, if I Airplay music to the Beam (i.e., TV switched off), will it incorporate the Sonos Ones in playback?  Given that surround uses the Sonos Ones in a different mode to achieve true surround, will this be detrimental to playback of music outside of TV use? Thanks for any advice. 

Hello, we have a Youtube Music family subscription (since Google Music dissapeared unfortunately). When my wife uses the SOnos app on her phone to search for her playlists, she only sees mine. She has her own Youtube account, but for some reason Sonos only shows mine. How can I solve this?

HiI’ve not given up at the first hurdle, but there appears to be more than one hurdleFYI we have multiple Google Home devices which work absolutely seemlessly (and cost about a fifth of the price)I bought a Sonos One and an One SL on Saturday. Downloaded S2. Created a stereo pair (in the kitchen) and  after many attempts got Google Assistant on there and then managed to link my Spotify family premium account. Finally it works!Asked my wife and son to do the sameS2 will only use my account for the kitchen pair. Not ideal but ok. So I logged in on their phones and then we added their Spotify premium family accounts. Even after unlinking and relinking  their Spotify account to Home Assistant when they try and play music we get told that their Spotify premium accounts need adding to HA and Sonos. Circles.…Its a bit rubbish. When trying to play songs from my Liked songs library in Spotify, I get intermittent swapping errors of “an error occurred 701” or simply “unable to add song to queue”.All other playlists work without issue.I have approx 4000 songs in my library however in researching this problem, it looks like a previous person advised that it should be able to accommodate ~6.75k (+/- depending on metadata.Could someone assist in confirming how I can get around this error?

Sounds cuts off for like 5-10 seconds then come back on. It looks like its a common problem among arc owners. Is there a solution for this?Diagnostic code: 60793805

I own a Playbase, two Sonos SL 1’s and a Move. When I remove the Move from its Charging Ring, it Powers Off and can not be turned back on unless returned to the charging ring. This occurs whether or not the Move is Grouped or Ungrouped to the Playbase in the System settings. When it is on the Charging Ring the Battery level indicates 100%. Is this a System setup issue or a problem with my Move itself?

I accept I have to listen to ads if I don’t subscribe to the PRO, Premium, VIP service. That’s fine. What about the volume of the ads? Does SONOS have to crank up the volume so much? It’s jolting! I read another similar comment elsewhere on these pages and the answer was something along the lines of “ it depens [not on us but] on who is serving the ads.”  Thanks but I don’t buy it. The high volume ads is an old radio tactic so the excuse is invalid. SONOS: WOULD YOU PLEASE TURN THE VOLUME DOWN FOR THE ADS? or TURN IT UP FOR EVERYTHING! 

One morning woke up turn on my TV, Beam has no sound.  Use Sonos App to troubleshoot and received audio out issues.  Changed cables and even to my spare TV (Sharp) in the bedroom, this did not help.  I tried to reset my Beam and setup from factory default.  Had the same problem.  My main TV is philips brand, toggle Easylink on/off plus HDMI aduio out on/off makes not difference on my Beam.  Any help would be most appreciated.

I own a Beam and a pair of Sonos One SL and had set them up as surround. Since last month the Sonos One SL’s would randomly drop offline  (I didn’t change internet setting or disconnect routers or add devices that would cause internet interference) I would spend hours and sometimes days trying to add them back, kept on getting the “we couldn’t connect to your products” message, and had to spend another couple hours to factory reset One SL’s, try a couple more time to add them and retune the speakers. This is super frustrating. Can someone please tell me what’s wrong with my system? 

I have searched in other topics, but i have not found any answer or fix for this problem.Suddenly during a song it can stop for a couple of seconds and then continue again. This is very frustrating. What i have tried so far is. Changing router, channels on the router. Connecting through wifi and also with ethernet. All kinds of resets. I have tried using Spotify connect and also the Sonos app. I’ve tried from different devices too to connect.I also have a Play 1. No problem whatsoever with that one.I have tried other streaming services (Youtube music & Apple music) and with them there’s no issue at all.I’ve had this problem for more than a year.I just submit a diagnosic: 1540223134

Newbie here.  I’m building out a covered porch right now with the “dream setup”. Outdoor fireplace with TV & ARC above it, and am planning on using AMP + Ceiling Speakers as rears for that system.  Everything is getting framed and built out right now, and I’m trying to figure out what wiring I need run.  Below is a rudimentary diagram of my plan.. but here’s the crutch of my question:  ARC will be hooked into TV’s eARC HDMI port.  I’m hoping that ARC can wirelessly bond to an AMP so that those are a single Sonos Room together (and the AMP ceiling speakers set as rears), but my concern is my planned location for the AMP is in a utility closet that is about 25 ft away from this porch (through walls), AND that’s through an exterior brick wall. Unfortunately the AMP is backordered until late August and construction will be wrapped up by then, so I can’t test all this while all the framing is still exposed. Should I run Cat5 (or another cable?) from the TV / ARC location to the utility

Hey guys, sorry if this has been asked multiple times but I’m a bit of a noob when it comes to this kind of stuff. I have a PS4 + OLED55BXPTA + ARC.  TV audio output is set to pass through and the PS4 is set to Bitstream (Dolby) but when Blu-ray audio plays, even if the track is 5.1, the app shows at as being Multichannel LPCM 7.1. Is this normal? Or am I missing something?  cheers Steve. 

I've a Sonos ONE SL pair using the Sonos S2 app with a weekday alarm. I have "Virgin Radio UK" set to come on at 07:27 Mon-Fri which is set through the Sonos Radio Station service.However, one or two days in the week, a completely different (random?) radio station plays instead. Or, the Sonos chime. Today, I had Radio X, another time I had the BBC World service. The app incorrectly reports that I am playing my chosen station. It is not a particular day it happens. It always seems to be one or two days in the week it happens, or the whole week passes through playing my chosen station as expected.Is there a known issue/bug as to why a different station to the one defined is played at the set alarm time? It appears that this is a long running issue that is now probably ignored as an agravation to many others.Also, this issue appears to be repeated across your community channels for the past 2 years! Network interference has been cited as a cause. My system is fully ethernet wired back to
