This is strange!?I have a HomeKit home and Apple Music.The symfonisk are visible in home app. If I make a shortcut to play music directly to my symfonisk speaker and run it, then Apple TV hijacks that and stream to my speakers. If I then wants to watch a show on my tv, then the music pause, and plays the sound through my speakers. I can not watch a show with audio on the tv speakers and play music on the same time on the symfonisk. They are not in the same room !???If I play directly to the speakers from Sonos app, then I can watch a show on Apple TV at the same time.

Ikke så smart når højttalerne ikke er i samme rum. Så hvis jeg prøver at sende musik direkte til symfonisk fra apple musik, så overtager Apple TV pg sender musikken til højttalerne. Inde i apple musik app og jeg vælger airplay hedder det nu alrum - stue og ikke alrum. Stue er Apple TV og alrum er højttalere. Det er som om alt skal gå igennem Apple TV. Kan sagtens streame direkte til højttalerne fra sonos app. 

I’m selling my Sonos Play 5 Gen 1. What do I need to do in order for the new buyer to use it?

Hi, my Sub Gen 3 is making a very distracting clicking noise (similar to a spinning Hard Drive) every time something is being reproduced by the audio system. My diagnostic info is: 1963654690 Thanks

Still having issues with my play 5 gen 1 music stops for a few seconds sometimes longer then plays again, only through Spotify though. Tried everything even had a new router still same reauthorised Spotify account from last community contact still same. Been like it ever since sonos decided to change their software and make older products discontinued. Any other advice would be brill. thanks in advance 

So over a couple years I have collected several Sonos products. My current setup is a Sonos beam (my first Sonos purchase) in front, two play 5s as rears and a gen 3 sub.  I want to upgrade my system again but I’m not sure if it would be better to replace the beam with the arc or just get 2 play 5s up in front with the beam. What do you guys think? What will sound better?

I talked him into spending almost $2000 on a Sonos system (Arc and Sub). He’s been having problems since the beginning. It works fine with his TV, but then he goes to his app to play music, and his system is not connected to the app, he has to run through the set up again, the app finds his system, and works, and then after he watches TV again, he has to do the same thing again, go through the set up to find his system to play music because once he’s watched tv his system is no longer found with the app.  he has submitted a diagnostic report and is not getting help

Hi everyone,I have one Sonos1 (Left) paired with a 1 SL (Right). Am I able to add another 1 SL to this set up as a right channel for a 3 speaker set up or does it have to be done in pairs?Thanks

Hi Guys, I am probably slow to the party here but I am having trouble connecting these two products. The TV has the eARC connection but it fails to recognise the Sonos Arc? Not to mention that when I try to setup the Arc through the App it doesn't register that it has been plugged in to the TV? Any help and pointers would be greatly appreciated. 

I have the new Sonos Arc SL with two Sonos One SLs and a sub gen 3. After playing music from my iPhone to the Sonos Arc and then I turn on the tv, the Arc does not connect to the tv. I will have to unplug the hdmi cable and plug it back before I get tv audio. This only happens when the tv has been off while I’m playing music then I turn on the tv. Is anyone experiencing this with the Arc SL? Or Arc generally. Thank you. 

Hi, I have 4 sonos amps hardwired running 4 independent zones in my house all in one Av rack that are daisy chained via a hardwired switch, now I’ve just added a ubiquti ap to the same switch so I can throw the WiFi down the garden to reach my pub, where I have a new 5th sonos amp which is obviously not hardwired it’s running on the ubiquiti ap. im having problems as the ‘pub’ keeps dropping of the system (my WiFi is set to 2.4ghz) does this all make sense ?please help 

My mother in law is having a mirror TV fitted and needs external speakers but doesn’t want to see a soundbar underneath the TV or have speaker cables routed around her room.She is more concerned about how it looks rather than how it sounds and isn't after surround sound.What is the best way to use a L & R speaker connected to the TV without a soundbar?I guess I could use the ARC connection from the TV connected to a Connect Amp and send that to the 2 speakers but it seems like expensive overkill to use the amp for that. I’ve considered buying a beam to control the L & R speakers and hiding/muting it but am not sure how it would sound.  I’ve been looking at other setups Like the Audio Pro bookshelf speakers but they need to be connected with a wire.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 

Can I buy longer mains cables for Play:3 speakers?  I need 3m cables at least. What types of connector goes into the back of the speaker?Can anyone post a pic?

My TV is LG oled65cx (2020), I'm connecting to the Sonos arc using the cable that came with the soundbar. I've checked all the boxes: eARC turned on etc, and Netflix shows Atmos for the show, but when I start it flashes "Dolby vision" and the Sonos app says "Dolby digital Plus 5.1. What can I possibly be doing wrong? I have unplugged the hdmi and power chords on both devices while switching to internal speakers in different orders but to no avail. Help? 

Hi, I do own a Sonos play 5 2gen and a sonos five. I would like to create a stereo pair, but it doesn’t seems to work in the appAre these 2 speakers not able to be in stereo mode together ? Why is that ? Thank youTrize

I have bought the Sonos amp and hooked it up to totem signature one speakers and Sonos sub. Is the amp powerful enough to run these speakers?  Totem Audio didn’t think the amp was.  Suggested I contact Sonos.  I couldn’t find anything on the internet to suggest the amp was.   Critiques talk about budget speakers not higher end products.  Appreciate your input.  

i say volume 1 to my s1 but it does not go lower enough I then have to manually take the volume down

Running SONOS on MacBook.  Playing Spotify via Connect:AMP, quite frequently when trying to do routine things such as pause, next track etc…“Unable to Connect”- then a minute or two later, works again, and then stops working - this pattern repeats. All the time.  The issue is intermittent but should not happen.Have tried all the troubleshooting which seems to be the go-to for SONOS, but nothing they have posted thus far fixes this issue.Has got a lot worse since SONOS pretty much abandoned their legacy Customers.  Before this S1 / S2 debacle, never had a SINGLE issue for years, now it’s a bit of a lottery as to whether the system will work as it should.

Please see the attached blueprint of our living room. My plan is to acquire Sonos Arc and setup Sonos Ones as surround speakers next to the sofa.What I wonder here is whether it is a waste of money to get Arc as left to the tv there is no wall, just a corridor? Also the back wall is not straight. Any thoughts are appreciated. 

I have a Sonos Arc and a Vizio M55-C2 (2015 ish).  When I plug the Sonos into my HDMI ARC port (HDMI-1) and turn on CEC my TV recognizes the Sonos but when using the Sonos App to try to setup the TV it gives the following error: “A device is interfering with the HDMI connection. Disconnect any other home theater products, then try again.”  I have disconnected every else except the Sonos and still get this error.  I have reset the Sonos to factory defaults a few times and unplugged/replugged the cable between the two and still no luck. Any suggestions?

I have the BBC skill set up in Alexa and if I ask Alexa to 'play BBC Radio 2' it plays from my Echo Spot rather than the SONOS speakers that I set up as my preferred speakers in Alexa groups. If I disable the BBC app, then Alexa gives me a message saying something abut the previously enabled app is disabled do I want to enable it. To make it work I have to say 'Alexa play BBC Radio 2 in the Sitting Room'. If I say 'Alexa play Virgin Radio' (or any other radio station/music request) it plays through the SONOS speakers. I know this might be more of an Alexa question than a SONOS question but I'm asking just in case any of you SONOS experts have come across this and know a fix! Edit: I did do a search and found nothing, but now I've posted I see that this question has come up before although the answer is to do what I'm doing ie add 'in the sitting room' or 'from TuneIn' to the command, which isn't a really great solution.

I have four Sonos One SL speakers (2 in the living room and 2 in the bedroom) and wish to add one more, but I have a question and a problem.First, my problem: With the exception of Spotify (and perhaps 1-2 other apps I don’t use), in order to listen to anything on my speakers, it HAS to be accessed through the Sonos app itself (meaning you can’t just open your app and have it connect to the speakers) AND be on the Sonos app’s limited list of available apps. So you can’t use your speakers to listen to anything. Aside from the obvious inconvenience and significant restriction this places on your use of the speakers, there are other problems with this. An example: I have an app called Calm that offers nature sounds, meditations, soothing music, etc. I use it primarily as white noise because some of its nature sounds do a great job masking the noise from my upstairs neighbor. It won’t connect directly to my Sonos speakers, but luckily, it is available through the Sonos app. Great, you say.

Hi,I am new to Sonos, but looking to incorporate a number of Sonos products in my home as I complete a renovation.  I am working with an AV installer, but I have a couple questions, which I cannot find clear answers for and so I’m looking for some help.In the living room, I will be using a Sonos Arc + Sonos Sub + Sonos Amp/in-ceiling speakers for the rear surrounds. My installer is recommending that I use Monitor Audio C265 speakers as the in-ceiling speakers instead of the Sonos in-ceiling speakers, as he feels that they are a better speaker for the price point.  Here are my quesitons:If I use non-Sonos in-ceiling speakers (connected to Sonos Amp) for my rear channel in the 5.1 setup, obviously I will lose truplay calibration for the in-ceiling speakers.  However, will I also lose the ability to trueplay tune the Arc + Sub (since the non-Sonos in-ceiling speakers would be connected to that particular set up)?  What does the trueplay calibration do that I cannot do by manually adjustin

I’m swapping out my full-sized, wired 7.1 Klipsch to Denon AVR system, looking to know how upscale a Sonos system I can build as wirelessly as possible, eliminating the receiver and using an HDMI Arc or HDMI eArc connection from the TV. The only other connections to the system would be a Blu-Ray player (ideally routed through the TV via HDMI) and my phone (via the Sonos app).I'm guessing an Arc, 2 Subs, and 2 Play 5's for the rear channel would be the ultimate system achievable under currently available Sonos products? Or can Sonos do a 5.2.2 without an Arc or other soundbar? Or are there other Sonos soundbars that would be an improvement to the Arc if another pair of speakers were used for the upfiring Atmos channels?Can you use other, better Sonos speakers as the upfiring/height and FL/FC/FR channels? I’m a novice with sound issues.  I have a recently purchased a Beam, which I have been playing with my Samsung TV sound output.  Because of space issues the Beam soundbar is on a shelf to the right of the TV, which results in a one directional sound when watching TV.  I now have purchased a Sonos 1 (2nd Gen) and placed it on a shelf to the left of the TV in an attempt to get a more balanced sound output.  I gave the Beam and the Sonos 1 different “room” names and “grouped” them as per the app instructions.  I then set the volume levels in the app to the same settings and confirmed that the TV sound was coming out of both speakers.  The trouble is that when watching TV, the volume of each speaker keeps changing.  Each gets very quiet for a time at different times while watching.  They quiet to the point that it seems to the listener that the sound has gone off in one of the speakers.  It hasn’t, however. it just gets very quiet relative to the other speaker. QUESTION:  Is there a way to
