I tried to move my Sonos1 about 15 feet into my garage. It lost connection, became unrecognizable. I had to add it back as a new device. I finally got it connected and recognized by my WiFi, my tablets and cell phones. I then re-added my favorite music apps and got it to recognize my remote iTunes library located on my laptopI am using the original S1 App - I have NOT upgraded to S2Two items remain:I rarely used it, but Radio TuneIn used to be a default part of my music options. It is no longer available. I can download the app and add it, but is there a way to add it without the App — as was the case before this afternoon’s kerfuffle?I am fairly certain that I lost the sound enhancement—recognition of the sound quality of the room the speaker is in. How can I ‘force’ a new sound check of the room? Thanks,Tracy  

Hi,i have an arc sound bar installed on my fireplace under the tv.  about ten feet back I have passive ceiling speakers wired to a new Amp (not connect amp) upstairs in a media closet. They sound fantastic but I would love a way to connect the Arc with these Passive Amp powered speakers. Right now I can only see an option to add Play 1s as surrounds on the arc.  any options here to link everything together?

Which Sonos speaker that has alexa built in? and is it available outside UK?

I have a roku remote that is not an IR remote control.  I paired it with my Sonos Beam when I first bought the Beam and used it for a couple of months.  One day, the remote no longer controlled the volume on my Beam and sonos system.  Can someone please tell me why this happened and what can be done to fix this problem so I can continue to use my Roku remote to control volume? Thank you,

Just got my Roam a couple days ago and its pretty pretty frustrating. I’m dealing with two main issues.A next song will be playing, then it just blindly jumps to the next track 10-15 seconds in maybe. It happens enough that I notice it frequently. I had one specific instance yesterday where all the songs started fluctuating playback speeds from probably 100-120%. I “think” this was remediated by holding the power button in for 5 seconds and cycling it.The first one is really the one I care about. I’ve tried Spotify and YouTube Music and both seem to be doing the same thing on me. None of the FAQs seem relevant. My network is rock solid and I’ve never had issues with any other Sonos devices.Any thoughts?

My Sony xh95 (x950h) and Beam are not connecting. I'm using the Beam's included hdmi cable into the tv's hdmi arc port. I've switched Bravia sync on, which I understand is Sony's term for CEC.The TV can see that something's in the port as it is shown as a connected input, but the Beam does not show up in the Bravia sync device list, no audio is outputted and the sonos app reports a CEC error. Spotify works fine on the Beam via the android app. Any help appreciated! Feel like I've tried everything. 

This started about an hour ago.  Spotify plays fine on my computer, or my phone, but will not connect to the Sonos system.  There have been zero changes to my network and given that other services (Amazon, Pandora) work perfectly fine this has to be between Spotify and Sonos.  If this is a global outage of some kind please let me know so I can stop trying to get it to work. Diagnostic:  Your confirmation number is: 1773492571.

Is it possible to stream internet audio from a MacBook through Sonos? Specifically, is it possible to stream audio from a website accessed on a MacBook, through either a PlayBar, or a Sonos Connect? When I open AirPlay on my MacBook, it shows another set of Sonos speakers I have (Play 5), but it doesn’t show either a PlayBar, or a Connect system I also have.If this isn’t supported directly in the Sonos app, are there any third-party apps that might do it?There are a number of old, closed threads on this topic, but I couldn’t find answers in any of them. Thank you!

Hi,I moved my Connect to a different room and now the play/pause button always ends up blinking green. I have verified all the connections, including ethernet. I have reset to factory reset as well. I saw a similar thread here but there was no solution presented.Thanks for your help.

My Move will not make a sound. None of the button sounds or any music through either source.Rest of the system works fine.Is there a solution please?

I recently did away with the unattractive HDMI cable. And added a wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver.Now we get a sporadic loud static noise though the Sonos ARC. We can get rid of the noise by turning off the HDMI Transmitted and turning it back on. We would like to find a permeant fix.

I am replacing my Sonos Playbar with a Sonos Arc. The Playbar is currently mounted under the TV using a Sanus Universal Soundbar Mount (Model SASB1). Can I use that same mount for the Arc ? Mod Edit: Changed Play to Playbar for clarity.

I bought the Roam the other day. After a nightmare setting it up with the app and a few hours on the live chat with customer services, it worked through the app for the first day and even paired happily with my beam, but has since been ‘offline’ on the Sonos app. It’s been off and on and I’ve restarted our WiFi router. I’ve been able to play music through it directly through Spotify on AirPlay, but no joy connecting it again to the beam via the app. This means I can’t see what the battery is doing and how much charge I have at any point. Sometimes it randomly changes its own volume to quite loud while sat in the same spot and I have to turn it down. I haven’t had any problems with my beam. Is this a faulty Sonos product? We mostly plan to use it around the house and garden. Should I return it and switch to a Sonos One, which was our other option?

So here’s a head scratcher I would appreciate some advice on. I was moving one of my old surround Play:1’s to do some cleaning and accidentally dropped it. Luckily, it landed flat base down on the rubber feet and it was quite a thud but structurally, it seems to be fine and it still plays.Now when it’s being used at normal levels, it’s fine but the woofer starts creating an audible speaker buzz when playing back at certain low frequencies and volumes (above 30%).Confusing more still is the fact that as it’s playing , I can feel a fair amount of air pressure from the driver being forced out of the ethernet port at the back as it’s playing (?!?!). I’ve checked my other Play:1’s and they nothing of the sort. What’s interesting is that when I “plug” the Ethernet port with my thumb and try to create a seal, naturally the air escaping is reduced but then the buzzing from the speaker on the lows and loud reduces as well (as far as my thumb prevents air from escaping). When I remove my thumb,

I don’t think there has been an answer on this one?  I have seen may people have asked.  Until last week I was able to ask my google home mini to ‘Hey Google - play <insert radio station> on Play 5. Google would say “ok, playing <radio station name> on Play 5.  Now, its says “ok, playing <radio station name> on Play 5…. sorry i can’t find what you asked for.  driving me mad.  Has anyone found the answer?  Have uninstalled the voice service from the Sonos app.  Have take off and re-added Tunein. Diagnostic:  534294251

Hello! Can someone confirm whether a Sonos Amp will be compatible with a pair of Polk Audio L100s? The Sonos documentation for the Amp says “Your speakers’ power rating should be at least 125W for 8 ohm speakers, and at least 200W for 4 ohm speakers.”The Polk L100s are 4 ohm speakers and the documentation lists the Steady State Recommended Amplifier Power as 30-160W.I would think that would mean the Sonos Amp would be too powerful for those speakers, but I’ve even seen this combination recommended before online.Can anyone confirm whether this combination will work?Thanks!

This problem just started today. When I select my local ESPN radio station through Sonos, it only plays the commercials and not that actual radio station when they are on air. It will just go silent for 5 or 10 minutes until they go back to a commercial break. I have never experienced this before. Any ideas?

Has anyone experienced random bursts of loud popping coming from their play bar? I was just awoken at 2:00am by what can only be described as a continual ‘machine gun’ like sound coming from the speaker. This seems somewhat startling. Nothing like this has happened before.

Apple Music in June comes with hires sound, I read in various post that the native app in Sonos S2 is not available. With Airplay 2 from iPhone to Sonos Port I can stream lossless? Thanks Stefano

My roam on occasion just stops working for Airplay.  Works fine when I try with my Move.  I’ve rebooted my router and comes back then cuts out again.  Noticed this a few times already, other times works just fine.  Thoughts?

I have a new Beam and have set it up with two Play 3s - works fine.We also have a Sonos One - is it possible to add this to the surround sound so that it’s volume can be controlled when we use the Beam?
