Hello! Non-techy Dinosaur here; I have a Sonos system that I play Pandora in the living room/great-room area. I also have a desktop pc in a back bedroom, no Sonos speakers there but obviously with  pc speakers. Is it possible to get the Sonos/Pandora to play in the bedroom thru the Internet at the same time? I went to my Sonos & Pandora accounts, but did not see any way to sync them up. Please let me know if it’s possible, Thanks! Steve

I read this post but it isn't clear to me whether one can use two different speaker models in multiroom mode. Can Roam and SL be used together in multiroom mode?

My music library consists of several thousand recordings managed through iTunes (though I’ve just discovered iTunes has been replaced by Music).  I have configured iTunes/Music to load and access files from an external hard drive attached to a MacMini running macOS Catalina 10.17.5.This MacMini runs S1, and I have several Sonos components on S1 in my home.  I have used the MacMini’s S1 Controller’s Music Library Settings to assign the correct directory with my music files on the external drive.  This had worked for many years, but at some time in the recent past the Music Library listings disappeared. After putting off dealing with this issue for a while, I bit the bullet this weekend and began troubleshooting.  Progress so far:I downloaded and installed the latest version of S1 Controller for Mac (11.2.9) I have configured S1 to access the music files on the external drive several times I have run the indexing several times I have explored various permissions configurations on the Mac

I’ve got about 10 different Sonos products spread out around the house. Inexplicably, the whole system will not be recognized by either the Sonos app on my phone or the app on my Mac. However, when I ask Alexa to play, she is able to find the products and stream to them. The app does throw up an error message. However, I am never able to resolve the issue by following the instructions.  One particular instruction is that I turn everything off and on. However, this is not really practicable since four of the speakers are high up on the wall. Please advise what other detail you might need to help. I’ve submitted diagnostic 890531980 for reference. 

Morning. Just moved to a new home. I’ve not yet connected my Play 1 speakers but the house has a connect that’s linked to 6 Sonos speakers in the kitchen ceiling. Only 4 of them are working. Any clues of how to track down / fix the problem ?

I have an odd issue. I have a house with Sonos products in multiple rooms, including two rooms that have identical home theater set-ups with a Beam, a Sub and two Play1’s as surrounds. I recently upgraded my router and all the products appeared to have reconnected successfully. However, I noticed yesterday that one Play1 used as a surround in one of the home theater set-ups had a blinking white LED. I reset the speaker several times, each time successfully connecting the speaker to the network and Sonos system, but when I tried to finish the set up by adding the Play1 pair as surround speakers, the app gives me an error message after timing out saying it cannot add the speakers as surrounds. The other Play1 that was not affected reconnects as a surround but the affected one does not connect and returns to a blinking white LED with no sound. I am out of ideas. Any thoughts?

After several years the volume and mute buttons on my 650 control have gone inert . I’m trying to shift these functions to other unassigned buttons on the 650 e.g. the Channel Up/Down switch as the new volume control. However, these the volume and mute functions seem to be tied to the original buttons. Thus deleting the Playbar does not free-up the original buttons. Has anyone successfully done this buttons transfer?

Is it possible to use my Sonos 1 as TV audio? 

I bought a Roam on release and used it a bit but as it's mainly for holiday it's been sat doing nothing for quite a while. On holiday now after leaving it to charge overnight and it's completely dead. Just noticed it's not showing in the Sonos app and I've tried various chargers and all it does is show a red light when plugged in. Nothing happens when I hold power button or try to factory reset. Any ideas?

Curious why my sound fluctuates so much. I run everything through the Sonos. Apple TV, Apple Music, PS5 and Lg CX tv. It seems one minute I have to crank up the volume to hear anything and the next it’s too loud across the board no matter what I use.  Ive tried the volume in settings turning that up but then something may be too loud. I need to get this balanced. Thanks all 

Google is transitioning Google Drive Backup and Sync users to the new Google Drive for Desktop. I went ahead and made this change, but now I can’t connect Sonos to my music library. I get an error 1002 when attempting to connect to my music folder in the new drive that was mapped when I installed Google Drive for Desktop. Also, I have enabled offline access for this folder. Everything worked fine prior to the switch to the new Google Drive for Desktop.Does any have suggestions for how I can connect Sonos Desktop (for PC) Controller to the G:\Google Drive\Music Library folder? Will there be an update to the Sonos Controller to address this issue?P.S. I contacted Sonos support by phone. They directed me to this article, but otherwise were friendly and unable to advise a solution. Thanks in advance!

I have an A8H that works with ARC on my Denon 4300, just put a an Arc SL in place as I’m moving the Denon to a dedicated theater.  I’ve unplugged everything but the ARC from the A8H and have yet to hear any sound out of the Arc via the TV ( I did proof of life with Spotify), every time I get to the testing phase the Arc says “Audi System Not Connected”.  I switched from my HDMI cables to the ones that come with the Sonos, I’ve powered everything off and unplugged, called Sonos support who walked me thru the same things I had already done and suggested I call Sony (that was a short call when I mentioned the Denon works on arc like a champ).Arc and TV are connected to WiFi, WiFi is Ubiquiti networks. Any Ideas?

My roam arrives tomorrow and was curious if the roam will be able to stereo pair to a Sonos One I already have in my kitchen ? Using Sonosnet throughout my house.Like the idea of taking my roam on the go when out of the house and use with BT but when home I’d like to drop it back in kitchen to act in stereo pair with my Sonos One If possible - Will I have to repair every time I return home and place the roam back in kitchen on sonosnet ? Thanks for the help 

Background: Bought a house with 4 “dumb” ceiling speakers in 4 different rooms. Owners had a Denon receiver, an AudioSource amp and a Russound SS-4.2 4-way speaker selector. Each speaker has 4 wires and also has wall volume dials. The wires are all disconnected.My goal: Stream Sonos (and Spotify) through the 4 speakers and be able to control the volume of each speaker and turn each speaker on and off from my phone.Question: Can I use the Sonos Amp with the Russound SS-4.2 4-way selector? Do I need more than one Amp?Pics: Here’s the front and back of the Russound SS-4.2 4-way selector. 

Hi! We’d like to take our paired Sonos Roam set with us to a vacation rental and set them up on the WiFi system there (there will be no Sonos network at the rental house) Is this possible? If so, how do we do that? Thank you! 

Hiya..I am looking to buy a couple of Roams to use around the house. I was wondering if I would be able to take them away in my motor home and use them straight from my iPhone as a stereo play or would I need to set up some Linda local network? Hoping for the former! Martin

Hi have a roam speaker thinking of getting 2.  I understand 2 x roam can be used in Stereo under wifi, and does not work in stereo in bluetooth.Can 2 sonos roams be connected to a single bluetooth streaming?Is it possible to play 2 x sonos roam not in stereo from either a samsung galaxy s7 or iphone 12.  Thanks

Hi - just want to check in so I can be absolutely certain before purchasing.  Can a Sub be bonded to a single Play Five or does it have to bond to a stereo pair only?  Thanks!

I am traveling the United States. I bought 2 Roam speakers for bluetooth playing. I have no wifi network here. AND I CAN NOT SET UP MY SPEAKERS. There is no support. Boot on chat, phone is offline, no mail answer. Now I have 2 plastic usless boxes for the next 2 month/  I wish this company go straight to hell. No. Really.

I can see the speakers on the network from my PC with file explorer- so WiFi networking side of things is fine. I can also Ping them from my PC.The speakers set up OK on the new network and work fine with my iPhone using my iPhone music library but when I try to use my main music library (on my PC) the app on the phone cant connect to that library. I have done all the usual shut down and power up in sequence things but no change. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the S2 app on the PC but that makes no difference.I have tried connecting a speaker directly to the router. No difference.I have to say - the S2 PC app is not really very helpful when there’s a problem. There is no network diagnostics/analysis just the option to Try Again……   

Have BT Whole home Mesh set-up with 3 dishes and Sonos Boost. The master disc is plugged into main BT Home Hub, as is my Boost. About a month ago I added Sonos Move to my setup, had to reset it recently and had to ensure it connected to BT Whole home Mesh WiFi. What is the Boost doing and should I wire it too the Mesh disc?

I am shocked at how long my return is taking to process.  Is this common?  Sonos received the item on 5/21 and I have heard nothing.  The only reason I know they received it is I kept the tracking number.  This seems like a long time to wait.  Can anyone shed any light on this?

I cannot turn on my Sonos Move device. It seems to be charging (the light turns on when put in charger. It is fully charged). But it doesn't turn on and can't get connected!? Any advices?

I am thinking about getting a Sonos Amp to power my KEF Q150 speakers and connect my TV etc to and I just had a couple of questions I am hoping you can help me with.I am wanting to connect my speakers to the Sonos Amp as well as my Pro-Ject Turntable via RCA cable and TV Via ARC.1.Can I use a Logitech Harmony remote to control the Sonos Amp to control volume and change audio source?2.Can I connect an SVS PB-1000 sub to the Sonos Amp?3.Can I add Sonos wireless rear speakers to the Sonos Amp to make it 5.1 surround sound?4.Is it possible to connect a Sonos ARC or Sonos Bar to the Amp to make a 5.1 setup?5.When I use Spotify or Tidal on the Sonos Amp, does it play at the full audio quality bitrate or does it scale it down because like it would do if using Bluetooth to stream the music?6.In a perfect world I would like to have an actual centre speaker for movies and tv shows. Hello Everyone I am Planing to install Surround Setup (Home theatre)  Front Speaker - One SL - 1 Pair Right and Left Rear Speaker - One SL - 1 Pair Right and Left Center Speaker  - Arc Sound BarFrontSub - Sub In Celling - Sonance 1 Pair with Amp  Is this the correct surround Sound Setup or do I need to add or change anything in this setup please advice or suggest.
