Everything was working fine till I was using a Symfonisk speaker with the first version of AirPlay and iTunes. Then the new Sonos App came along, AirPlay 2 came along and now it’s a total nightmare. Sometimes the Symfonisk speaker shows up among the possible destinations, sometimes not. Some days you can see the speaker from iPhone, but not from the Mac or Apple TV. Today for example the speaker was playing happily from my MacBook, but then, in the afternoon it decided to go for a nap and it’s impossible to see it from the Music app on the Mac. It’s still visible from iPhone. I already tried a few speaker reset-and-reconfig; speaker and all other devices are on the same 2.4 GHz WiFi; tried to reset router a few times, same behaviour pops up again. (also can’t spend my days resetting things because of bloated software)The thing that drives me mad is that there are other AirPlay2 devices on the network and they all work with no fuss. I have surround sound for my tv so a Sonos sound bar, sub and a pair of Sonos ones, a play 5 and a one in the kitchen but I’m building an extension and want to fit a pair of ceiling speakers for the TV, I don’t want to use it with anything else other than Sonos equipment, so do I need an amp?

Hello everyone. I am looking for some advice on setting up my Sonos Amp in-ceiling speakers and Sonos Beam to effectively have a 5.1 surround sound configuration. The current sound is definitely not optimal. The beam is too soft during one on one conversations/dialog scenes and the ceiling speakers are too loud during action scenes with background audio to hear anything else. I’ve tried adjusting the Surround “TV Volume” but I just can not seem to find an optimal setting for both the Beam and Ceiling speakers to work together. The Sonos amp is connected to four in-ceiling Sonance speakers (two L and two R), and all four are located behind the optimal viewer seating area. I then have a Sonos Beam under the TV with HDMI and may plan is to add a Sonos Sub at a later time. Nothing is wired to Ethernet, and nothing is wired together, just managing it all on the Sonos app. I obviously setup the surrounds one I plugged in the Beam, because that option became available. Just purchased and installed a new LG tv with the Magic Remote. I cannot get the remote to control the volume on my Playbar. Anyone have any specific fixes?

Hello,I would like to control the volume levels of my two Sonos One SL separately although they are paired. To be more precise, I need one of the Sonos to be louder than the other one (they are placed in 2 different rooms, one needs low level and the one needs a higher volume level). Is this possible ? Currently when I adjust the volume locally on one of the Sonos, it adjusts it on the other one too.Thanks for your help !

Scrobbling to Last.fm from my Sonos system has been working flawlessly since I set it up a year ago, until just a couple days ago.  My first instinct was to try and disconnect/re-connect Last.fm from within the Sonos app, but before I did that I noticed Last.fm wasn’t in the list of available services (both in the PC and iOS Sonos apps) to add.  I still see my Last.fm account as one of the active services running but I’m hesitant to remove it since there doesn’t appear to be a way to re-add it.Has something changed? Eric

I have read several reviews on the Move that Sonos will issue a firmware update that will allow the Move to perform True Play tuning via Bluetooth. Does anyone have knowledge of this update or know if it has already been issued? Thanks in advance for any answers

So I’m currently working on an experience in Chicago open to the public. We need to figure out a system for audio. We would love to work with Sonos.Here's our situation: We have two four-channel amps that each need four playback devices. The amplifiers are wired to existing speakers. Each amp channel needs a playback device. And we want to use Sonos with our system so that we can easily be controlled wirelessly through the app. Do you have suggestions for how to create a Sonos system with our current set up? Just moved house and we’re having terrible issues with the Sonos system dropping in and out all the time. WHY IS MY SONOS BEAM MAKING A BUZZING NOISE?? 

Hi, I have a sonos connect which I’ve run without any problems for a couple of years. Over the past month or so, it has started cutting out completely and just stopping whatever it was playing. It won’t start again or remember where it was. I’ll go on the app and it says it’s unable to find the sonos on my network. For a few minutes it’ll be dead to the world, then it will come back online. I’ll start again with whatever I was listening to, only for it to just do it all over again. Sometimes I get 20 minutes of playtime, sometimes 30 seconds. I’ve tried resetting it and redoing all the connections from scratch and now I’m running an ethernet cable all the way from my Sky Q hub into the connect, all to no avail. I’m at a bit of a loss for what to do with it. Any suggestions please?

I am using Amazon Music HD with Sonos S2 and can’t for the life of me figure out how to play a “Station” by an artist. I am looking to pick a band and then have the “Station” play back that artist and a collection of music from similar artists. I have Spotify premium and there is always a choice in S2 for playing a Station when you search for the artist. Is there something I am missing?? I can play stations from artists by doing it through the Amazon Music HD app and using Airplay, but I want to do it natively in the Sonos app….

Hi, I have the sonos move and in my house I have 3 wifi. Every time i change location i have to reconnect my sonos to the wifi and writing again the password. what is the solution that sonos can change wifi by himself? thanks

Unable to play Music through any device.  I have tried with no luck:resetting the router resetting the every Sonos speaker (at the same time)  deleting my app and reinstalling it

so here we go … I just bought a house and since I sold mine with my equipment (Sony), I’m ready to buy brand new equipment (SONOS).  The house comes with ceiling speakers (office, laundry!, master bath, master bedroom, kitchen, living room, outdoor upstairs, outdoor downstairs).  It also comes with 7 speakers for the TV area.  so … I don’t need to buy any speakers (other than a subwoofer to achieve 7.1).  Everything arrives in a utility closet upstairs (TV is downstairs).  While I’d like to use WIFI, the house also has cat 5 (or 6, not sure yet I have not moved in just yet) throughout the house.  Here’s what I want to achieve -play music in every zone - either same or different music from same or different sources looks like I have 8 zones + the TV) setup the surround sound 7.1 I don’t need the TV to play in other rooms (just surround sound / media room is enough) TV is a smart TV Samsung From what I’ve seen there is an HDMI cable running from the TV area to the utility closet (need to

I bought a sonos one (the first Sonos with voice control), but is not working. Why do you use that sentence if is not available everywhere?? Are you planning to do it available in Chile any time soon? @Sonos 

I’m having trouble deciding how to add a soundbar to my living room setup. I currently have a Sonos amp driving the 4 ceiling speakers in that room and the tv sound coming through those ceiling speakers. I’m not a fan of the all tv sound coming from the ceiling and would like to add a soundbar. I’m overwhelmed by all the options and looking for anyone that has a similar situation or any advice. There are speaker cables for a left, right, and center channel behind the TV that run to the server closet, but there isn't any room for speakers other than a soundbar. So far I’ve narrowed it down to these solutions.Just get a normal soundbar and leave the Sonos system and TV sound separate. No need for a Sonos soundbar if I’m keeping them separate.  Get a Sonos Beam and connect the the 4 ceiling speakers as SR and SL speakers in the Sonos app. I didn’t think the arc would be a good match as its atmos speakers’ sound would be coming from the same area as the ceiling speakers. I have 6 Polk Audio RC80i 2-way Premium In-Ceiling 8" that I would like to run off 1 Sonos Amp.  Is that possible?  It sounds like you can using Sonos’ architectural speakers because they are all identical, but is that possible with 6 identical Polk speakers?Thanks!

Hi. I was thinking about adding a couple of rear speakers to my Beam Soundbar, would a couple of Roam speakers do the job wirelessly. The fact they are battery powered , would make them ideal for temporary placement in my TV room, when watching content that warrants good surround sound, while the rest of the time, they could live in my kitchen and conservatory.?

Hello friends,I’m trying to figure out an automation so that when I come home that I can have a Back to the Future 2 type greeting play through my living room speakers.I’ve Googled this idea but I can’t seem to find the answer to make it happen. I have only been able to get this to partially work using Yonomi. When I arrive at my house, I can get the greeting to play in the desired zone. However, I can’t seem to manage the volume and execution to time it just right. When I arrive at my geolocation, the Yonomi automation runs. The selected playlist then loops rather than just playing once. I’d also like to add a condition so that I have trigger a front door sensor in addition to my geolocation. My current home automation setup is a mix of HomeKit and Smartthings (web version). I have a Hoobs on the way for more Homekit integration of Kasa lights and my Sonos system. Things are pretty much in their beginning stages. I’m trying out different things but I will mostly be in an Apple ecosyst
