Hi, I have a Sonos Radio HD subscription and a Play:3.

Is there any way for me to stream the radio through my computer, which is in a different room from the Play:3?

Thank you.

The Sonos app is only a controller, to tell your Sonos devices to play music.  They do not play music on their own.  So no, you can’t play Sonos radio through your Mac.

If Sonos ever does  make it possible to play Sonos radio on something other than a Sonos device, I imagine it would end up being a completely separate app that can only play Sonos radio.

Take three:

Let me rephrase the question. Can I use the Sonos app on my desktop computer to make Sonos Radio HD stream on that computer’s speakers? Or is the desktop app only able to control what plays on the Sonos?
