Reading a lot of topics on the issues people are having with Symfonisk and the drop outs and poor WiFi connections.They seem to be around a year old most posts, but then a few 3-4 months old.Have the issues been fixed now, perhaps with Firmware or Software upgrades?Considering the Lamp for surrounds for a Beam or Arc. Thank you 

I know this is probably one of the most asked questions so I’m sorry to burden the community with an issue with endless possibilities. In the last couple of days any IOS device my household owns IPads, phones etc. (Running up to date software) will no longer connect to my Sonos system, the desktop app works without any issue but anything wireless just says its unable to connect. I go through the trouble shooting process which basically tells me my wireless network has changed or the password has changed (it hasn’t and there are 20 other devices happily connected to it). Once I re confirm my network and password the system can be reached. Give it a couple of minutes and I can no longer connect to the speakers again, I have been through this process three times. Nothing has changed and I have never had this particular issue before.   One play 1 is hardwired to the router via a switch and the rest are connected via Sonosnet. Since adding a roam and a move, my music has been skipping and stopping.  Probably IP address thing.  I know that a fix is to unplug everything and then reboot everything one by one.  But how do you deal with the move and the roam since they are battery powered?

So when I start playing music or skipping tracks music seems to be instant on one or two speakers, then over a few seconds jumps to remaining speakers. Often it starts on all, but then cuts out on some before restartingI have tried with Sonos net on and off, wiring one speaker or several, different combinations but to no joy.I have submitted a diagnostic:292871884My router is an asus rt ac86u.i only live in a flat and have great WiFi coverage. I am trying to play my music that I have uploaded to my iTunes account through my Sonos One speaker. I have Apple Music app on my phone, from which I can access my music library & listen to through phone or earphones. I do not have a monthly subscription to Apple Music, I just use the app to listen to my library. I have installed Sonos app on my iPhone but when I try to add Apple Music it says I have to subscribe to Apple Music? Am I able to listen to my library in my iTunes account on a Sonos speaker or do I have to subscribe to Apple Music too?

Instructions for Roam reset did not work. Now what? Why reset? Though it’s paired on Windows refuses to connect despite adding/removing/adding, etc. (works ok on Android).

It´s posible config 2 Sonos Play 5, with 2 Sonos Move in the same room?

I have an older sonos connect amp so can not upgrade to S2 (which in itself is ridulous enough - surely there must be a way to make the S2 app run in a kind of limited S1 mode, but anyway, ok). The issue is the S1 app keeps telling me and all other users that the S2 app is there and we should upgrade. How do I turn off this annoying notification? Can this only be done by the general notification toggle (meaning we won’t get other notifications anymore either?

Hello community!  We today received our Sonos Beam to improve TV’s sound, but also to function as a nice voice controlled Spotify speaker in the kids room.To achieve this I connected the Sonos Beam to the TV with the HDMI cable to the HDMC ARC port of the TV. TV is Philips (Philips 32PFK5300/12) and the TV has in the Audio/Sound settings the TV speakers as ”Easylink” and HDMI ARC is on.But switching back to TV seems to have it’s issues. I have read other topics about this but I don’t seem to find answer.I have audio on the TV, e.g. playing Netflix on the chromecast — audio works on Sonos Beam — ok  I start playing from mobile phone’s Spotify and set the speaker to Sonos Beam — TV audio stops and Beam starts to play Spotify — ok Then — I’d like to stop Spotify and return to the TV audio. Following the tips and tricks here, the first thing I tried is ”Alexa, switch to TV”. She replies shortly ”okay”, but Spotify continues to play music on the Beam. Been enjoying my Sonos speakers very much.  Just recently the sound bar is losing the signal from my iPad , for a few seconds, every few minutes.  Very annoying.  Any ideas?

HiI have just swapped from sky to virgin broadband but for some reason my one sl are not recognised,  I've hard wired my arc and used WiFi for my sub but when I try to add the ones it just says you need 2 compatible sonos speakers to add surrounds? Any help gratefull.

Hello everyone - help please; I have tried everything I know but reached a dead end! I have a Sonos Connect Amp that is connected wirelessly to our BT router in the next room. The router isn't new, been moved or any passwords changed; likewise for the amp. To play music I use an iPad fixed in one location [this iPad connects fine to the amp and can play music using the S1 app]. However, my iPhone X [running latest software] using S1 app has just suddenly, for no apparent reason, started saying “unable to connect to Sonos. Learn More”. I have tried my work iPhone as well in case it was just my personal mobile acting out but that won't connect either and I get the same message.I have tried:Resyncing the phone by pressing the mute and + button on the amp. Going to the app and connect to existing system. I then get a popup on the app saying “connected to Sonos system. This Sonos app is now connected to your Sonos system”. However, when I click done it takes me straight to the screen asking

When I open the Sonos app on my computer, it is black with no music listed and says there is nothing on the queue. It is connected to wifi and the app, but still won’t work. When I search music it comes up blank. I tried restarting the computer, and reinstalling the app, but nothing is working. Please help!

Hi.  I have an Amp playbar and would like to add rear surround and sub to the this by integrating to the ARC.  Clearly, I can do this using Sonos speakers.  However I have a perfectly serviceable Sub and pair of rears already wired in.  Consequently, I’d like to double check a few points.  These are probably obvious but before I place an order…Can I connect in a Sonos AMP and configure this in the ARC setup to be recognised BOTH as the Surround and Sub (i.e. identify AMP under the ‘+ Connect Sub’ and ‘Set Up Surrounds’? Can I in the AMP set a level for the surrounds and then allow the AMP volume control to change the volume of the 5 speaker set together?  (I’m assuming here that the sub level can be set on the Sub itself against the sub line out level from AMP)? Hoping that the answers here are both yes but I only have the ARC so not quite sure how the Sonos connectivity plays here.

I see bus A, bus B for each channel but wondering how to configure this setup?

My Roam is paired with the PC’s Bluetooth and it is connected when I tuen on the PC. However, connection will drop if it is not used. I have to re-connect via PC setup everytime I want to use. Anyone has a solution? Thank You. 

For the past few days I cannot reliably connect to SiriusXM on any of the apps (Phone, iPad, Mac desktop).  When I browse for SiriusXM channels I get messages like “unable to connect..” and sometimes “unable to play.. not encoded correctly” or “digital rights management … encoding not supported”.   On a couple of occasions the music will start and play for a few seconds, then the “connection lost” message will appear.   I have rebooted the Network and killed/restarted the Apps. I have also removed and then re-added the SiriusXM account to my Sonos - none of these have fixed the problem.   I checked the on-line Sonos status - and that shows that SirisuXM is up and running with no problems.   I don’t have any problem playing SiriusXM from their native App on my phone - so this problem appears to be limited to Sonos.   Any advice?

Ok, here is a weird one, I’ll lay it out as simply as I can, moved into a new house:Router is at the front of the house.  2 x Play 1 in a Stereo pair (Bedroom, upstairs) 1 x Playbar (Lounge, downstairs) 1 x Play 1 (Summer house, at the far end of the garden at the back of the house). All speakers connected via wifi, nothing wired in.The bedroom pair and the lounge playbar are within the strong wifi signal zone.The summer house speaker is riiiiiiight at the furthest point of the wifi, right where the signal is about to drop off and sits at ‘poor’. Sometimes it does drop off completely, thats how far away it is from the router.Now, the system used to work fine but in the last couple of weeks (since I updated the app), performance has been tricky. Essentially the app can’t find the system at all - but only if I open the app in the house where the wifi is strongest. If I open the app in the summer house, ie right on the cusp of having no wifi, I have zero issues. The app finds the whole sy

I picked up an ‘untested’ CR200 - intending to use it with some old S1 speakers.Charges and holds its charge well, but the touch screen isn’t functioning, (at least at the bottom) so I am unable to connect it to my network.Having searched in vain for repair guides etc, I realise this is likely to be a dead end, which is sad because it is in otherwise excellent condition.My only thought now, would be to see if i could use it for a trade-up, but the Ts and Cs indicate it needs to be connected to a system in order to be eligible.is there any way I can connect it to my network/speakers, or anything else I could do with it ?  

Why can’t I connect to my Sonos Bridge?  When I first purchased it worked great. it was connected to a laptop that died. when i got a new laptop it seemed it was looking for the old. i also used iphone and Ipad, which worked great with old laptop.  it now kept saying trying to connect to network devise. now i have brand new apple and new router, but can not connect. software says product not found. Move closer.  What do I do...? 

DearsI was ripped off whilst I was selling 3 Play:1 second hand.I don’t have any contact details of the guy, but I have the serialnrs of the Play:1If I file a complaint at the local police, could Sonos disable these PLAY:1 as the are still listed in my system.  rgds Luc 

First time here.I have tried to sort through all of the posts and comments on this. Still cannot seem to figure out how to get my playlists, which I exported individually from ITunes in individual XML, and placed them into my NAS MyCloud file which has all of the the music. Music moved seamlessly into and is accessible on the NAS.  For some reason though the XML files will not import.  Does anyone have any step by step for idiots guide?

I'm confused over the upgrade discounts.I knew when S2 was announced, those that were not compatible got the 30% upgrade and i have 2 of those. But i now also see a Connect Amp, another Connect that are the newer versions OK with S2, giving 15%off. Why is that?Will the newer Connect Amps and Connect that are good for S2 now, somehow be no good for S2 in the future, and its Sonos way to try and get you off them now? Or can I be confident they will always be ok on S2 app? 

Is it possible to combine ARC under TV & Beam behind the couch?
