I have tried multiple times to setup google assistant on my new Sonos Move. I am able to do this on my Sonos One SL,but the google app cannot find the move.

 

Any suggestions how to fix this?

What router do you have? Any other WiFi access points on the network?
Which WiFi connection/band is the Move connected to?

We have a Virgin Media router (service provider supplied) and no other WiFi access points on the network. The router is dual band.

I would perhaps try a reboot of the VM router first and then reboot the Move …and once they settle back down, try installing the Google assistant again. The Sonos App should open the Google Assistant App and scan/find the Move device for you to add to your Home/Room.
