I am trying to optimize an outdoor TV setup for simplicity but also use Sonos sound setup I have. When planning out I did run 2XCAT6 behind the TV but didn't really think through how my Sonos Audio setup is going to work so trying to figure out ARC with Samsung and the HDBase-T setup.Outdoor:- TV (Looking at Samsung Terrace) which has HDMIs including HDMI ARC; Also supports HDBase-T but doesn't come with a transmitter only a port on the TV- Sonos/Sonance Outdoor Speakers connected to Sonos Amp by Pool (4 all on one Amp right now)- 2 CAT6 runs behind TV- No other cabling other than electricityIndoor (Wiring Closet)- Sonos Amp that powers 4 outdoor speakers- DirecTV Receiver (Wired via Coax)Question:I want to use my Sonos speakers via the Sonos Amp for sound with the Outdoor TV - How do I make sure that I can watch TV from DirecTV Receiver or Apps on the TV and have sound go through Sonos AMP via ARC? The Sonos AMP only has one HDMI port IN for ARC (no Out) and DirecTV only has HDMI out

I am having trouble searching songs using Deezer through the SONOS S1 app. This happens in either the mobile or PC apps. Other services like Spotify seem to be working fine.Search with other services like Spotify seems to be working fine I installed the service, have all my playlists and can browse all my songs.Can browse in deezer. It looks ok and works However, when I try to search for a specific artist or song I get a message saying “there was a problem searching, please try again”When searching in deezer I get an error message Any one is having the same problem?I already tried resetting the controller, changing the country in both the SONOS and deezer accounts. Sometimes after I change the country, the search service works but for a short period of time. Thanks in advance  

Having run solidly for years, my Connect has started showing a flashing white light out of nowhere. So far as I am aware there has been no update applied to it - in fact the unit hasn’t been touched in months. The unit is connected via a wired connection, although when troubleshooting I have also tried connecting it via wireless. The Connect disappears from the controller altogether, or drops when playing back after a few minutes, at which point the light starts flashing white again (or sometimes more of a fast flicker)What’s the setup?In the (physical) room in question I have a Connect which is connected to my turntable, and two Play:1s in a stereo pair. The Connect is hardwired to the network, and the Play:1s using wireless. My turntable is connected to the line in on the Connect.What have I tried?Replaced the ethernet cable in use on the Connect Swapped the ethernet port on the Connect Switched the connect to use WiFi Factory reset the Connect Switched one of the Play:1s to be wired

Hi,i just got the new sonos roam and when ever i switch it off, it switches on again. How do i keep it off? Thx

I keep getting the error message that one or more of my speakers is connected to a mesh WiFi and should be connected to the main node. My whole mesh WiFi system has the same name and password.  Even my extenders have the same name and password. How do I make sure my Roam and Move speakers are connected to the “main node” of the mesh system? Should I disconnect the extender and other mesh devices and reconnect my speakers to the WiFi, then plug everything back in? Thanks in advance for any assistance. 

Hi there Nearly on May 4, my Sonos One stop of working with Alexa, with hard problems to be recognized by IOS app. Following a suggestion here, I did de-activated the Sonos skill in Alexa, and then it didn’t appeared and when trying again, it says that there is a geographic restriction. I have my Sonos one since 2018 working in Chile with Alexa.There is a bug on the app/system? Or there are legal issues relative to these georestrictions? There is a data when it could be solved? best

I have two play1 paired to a beam, the left had speaker crackles when the volume is turned up on the tv.

Ok.  This may have been covered before so apologies. I have a number of original Sonos products (1/3/5/Playbar & Sub).  I have recently changed my internet provider which gave me a new router with better speeds.  Since this has arrived I have had no end of issues with connectivity to the IOS App on my Iphone 12.  Today I have rebooted the whole system and set up the whole thing as a new set up.  Deleted all the apps on all the devices, basically started again.It seemed to be ok.  My ipad has never had any issues nor has my MAc Desktop and MacAir, it just seems to be the iphone.Any ideas?  Sinc sitting here typing this, I have just set up the remote control with the playbar and all of a sudden it has a mind of its own - muting and then coming back on.  I have invested loads of money in this system and really want it to get back to how it was.Thanks

I have one large floor speaker in my garage that I want to wire to my amp. The amp will only power one speaker.How should I wire it?

I am thoroughly disgusted with the Sonos support world.  I have had Sonos speakers for several years, and bough a Move about a year ago.  Recently, I put my order in for the Roam; going to send it back when it gets here unless this is resolved within the next 5 business days.  Out of the blue, and as several people have stated, my speakers say, “Playing xxx from Amazon”, after I ask Alexa to do so, and nothing plays.  This is for ALL online services...MLB, Amazon, TuneIn, etc.  I have done ALL troubleshooting tasks including taking it to my business network.  None of it has worked.  Tired of hearing the same blah, blah, blah, from Sonos.  What is the fix????  I’ve invested over $3000 over the years, and used to recommend these to all my friends...Never again!!!

Hello Experts, I’ve got a pretty square room and the ARC works great. We are planning to get a new TV unit which has a raised shelf on the right and i’m worried it might act as wall and reduce the distance the ARC needs to bounce the sound. The ARC will sit on top the Unit above the hole. Will the ARC be able to cope with the slightly elevated section on the right or will it be a problem?   

I have 2xplay:1 speakers and 2x One SL (kitchen & office) speakers all in different rooms. They are all on network channel 11 and all 4 have the white light on the top.First the kitchen one no longer appeared on the list of speakers. It would still play music from the previous time it was used. I reset it and my router and still no luck. Then randomly it came back, but the office one disappeared off my list.Tried resetting the office one but no luck. It is now still got white light. Edit: after typing this the office one is now showing on my iPhone, but not my laptop. If I try to join it in to a group it says it can’t connect.

I’ve seen a bunch of similar posts re this issue but thought I'd give it a shot just in case a solution was now known:Playbar was packed up (safely and fully protected) for a few months between moving house. Having installed in new home, there is now a constant high pitched tone when tv is off/muted and player should be idle (there normally is a delay before the high pitched noise creeps in). Have tried factory-resetting and power cycling without any success. Can anyone advise on solution or should I go straight to reporting (the auto-chat bot doesn't present suitable options for this problem,. annoyingly)? Thanks guys! 

Hi guys. Recently bought a new LG G1 and I love it, it replaced my CX which had a faulty panel however the G1 will not pass LPCM or Atmos to the Sonos Via E-arc Passthrough. If I put it the LG on Auto I get Dolby Atmos but no LPCM for my Switch, Apple TV and PS5. With the CX it at least passed it through, although always in LPCM 7.1 which I know they intend to fix. If I try in my Xbox to put LPCM or Atmos on it says your receiver doesn’t support this format. Is it because the TV is so new the Arc and it aren’t communicating properly. I’m really disappointed and I love my Arc and my G1 but would like my sound to be accurate. Any ideas or is this a known problem?Thank you

Just updated the system with a roam and a couple of Move's. Simple question really. I'm Using Alexa on all of my speakers, and is there a way (or a command) where she will play what I'm listening to in another room as well. For example, been using the roam in the bathroom and then want to carry on listening to where I'm at on the playlist in the bedroom, leaving the roam in the bathroom. I know I could hold down the play/pause in the bedroom before I get in (or out) of the bath, I just wondered if there was a command I could give that would then add another room to the song playing? Cheers 

I can't add Sonos to Google's Home or add Google Assistant to my Move. Both approaches fail after giving my Sonos credentials, telling me to register speakers to my account. I have 10 speakers registered to this Sonos account! I used to have it all working, specifically allowing me to use my Sonos Port as the default speaker for a bike mini, in my kitchen. This all broke, so I removed the integrations and started again. But it added my V1 Connect, not my V2 system. So I moved my V1 Connect to a new Sonos account, leaving all my V2 stuff on the original account. Now I get this issue when trying to add Google Assistant integration to my V2 system account.

I bought my Sonos to specifically play music from a NAS where I have stored all my CDs/music. The internet radio is a welcome bonus. This system has worked well for probably over two years and provides a great sound in the kitchen where I tend to spend much of my time. Suddenly the Sonos refuses to connect to the NAS. I currently have my SONOS system using the Guest Account on my SYNOLOGY NAS and I would like to create a specific SONOS account with a password on the NAS. How do I change this my current NAS connection to use the new account  username and password? 

So I'm considering ditching my Sonos Sub. Without TruePlay it sounds like mud in my room (thank you Sonos for not facilitating TruePlay on Sub without a soundbar, more money down the drain).I'll probably get a high quality, 12 inch subwoofer and connect to the Amp's subwoofer out.If I do this, what kind of control will I have in the app as compared to Sonos Sub? Will I still have crossover setting? Sub volume? 

Hello guys, So I'm a bit perplexed. I've tried reading previous entries and discussions, yet still no luck. The YouTube Music integration is simply useless. It connects fine, but then show nothing other than the playlist "Liked songs", where I'm unable to play any of them because of "Access Denied". It works wonders with Spotify though. This whole Sonos ecosystem is suppose to be without any hassle. So can anyone tell me, what button i have to click, so actually use YouTube music on my Sonos Arc?? Sorry if I sound angry, but this really shouldn't be needed

I’ll try to put in as much detail as possible but also try to keep it concise but I do tend to waffle, so fair warning.Alright so….. I own just the one Sonos device (play 3) and up till recently I haven’t had any problems with it. I had it setup so it was running wirelessly using the S1 controller (on a OnePlus 5t phone) and everything was fine. However, every time I went to use the S1 app I was bombarded with annoying pestering to download the new S2 app. I had put off downloading the S2 app as I read some very negative reviews and I had everything I needed in the S1 app. Eventually the constant annoyance of the S2 update prompts was too much and I caved and downloaded the app.Immediately after downloading and going through the setup of S2 app I couldn’t connect to my speakers and the frustration began. After going through all the troubleshooting options I decided it would probably just be easi

The Arc work perfectly as you would assume. The sub only works when I switch the Arc to wireless. I though I could have the Arc hardwired while having the sub wireless. No matter what I do, I cannot get this to work. At one point, It said the sub was connected to the Arc but it didn’t produce any sound. It had a white light. Again, if I switch both the Arc and Sub to wireless it works fine. Thanks

Hi All,Been a Sonos user for ages. Recently I’m getting a heck of a lot of drop outs, various components drop out and come back on line in 10-30s, or all drop out. Streaming services drop out, songs skip, overnight looping of white noice tracks randomly stops.Thinking it was some sort of wireless issue I recently moved to a wired setup with one of my play 1’s directly wired to my primary Google Wifi puck. I’m still getting these issues unfortunately.Anyone have any ideas or pointers or could I submit a technical report to someone at Sonos to take a look for any issues for me?Btw I mainly use Amazon and Calm for streaming services.TIA

On just a couple of my hundreds of albums, the track time that displays is longer than the actual length of the music. When it gets to the end of the actual music it starts playingagain part way through the track.Why?
