Good morning, For over six years I have been creating playlists on the Sonos app via Napster. I now wish to leave Napster and transfer everything to TIDAL, still to be played on Sonos. It is only recently that I have realised that music on my Napster account on Sonos does not back up to my Napster account.   Sonos is not able to help me.  I find this quite poor.  I wonder if other users have had this issue and if there is a way to overcome it.   I use an iPad and iPhone. I do not have a computer.  Thank you.   

My Sonos move works great on both wi-fi and Bluetooth, except that when it is connected via wi-fi and I am watching or listening to something (on any platform: YouTube, streaming services, VLC, Spotify, QuickTime, etc.) and I hit pause, when I press play again the sound cuts out. This has happened on four different MacBooks, iPhones, iPad, etc. The only solution I have found is to manually go to audio controls on the device and change the audio output to the internal speaker, then switch back to Sonos. Then it works again. If I pause a movie a few times that means doing this every single time to get Sonos back.Is this meant to happen? It’s been like that since I got the speaker and I’ve kind of accepted it as a flaw. This does not happen on bluetooth; only wifi. 

I have 3 Sonos architecture ceiling speakers and one connect amp. I currently have it wired to just 2 of them right now but would like the amp to power all three speakers, I don't mind if they are different volume as they are in different rooms but was wondering if someone could direct me in how to safely wire this, thanks! 

I am using S1 system, with a number of S1 only products.  I am getting a message ‘Unable to connect to music library’. The music library is stored on a networked PC. I have configured the PC for sharing, including the firewall. The fiilename is correct. I thought I would try to remove the library and reinstall it, but the Sonos S1 controller app won’t let me do that without updating the software, which I presume would then update it to S2 and I wouldn’t then be able to use my system.  Can someone help?  Thanks.

What is the best speaker to pair with the Sonos move?

Hi All Love my system (WD NAS, 4 x Play 1, Playbase, Sub, one of those IKEA ones and soon to be Roam), but not the most tech savvy! Current system components are in fixed locations and named so e.g Lounge, Kitchen etc When the Roam arrives, it will live in a Spare Bedroom, so when set up it will be named that. When i take it out into the garden or somewhere else and leave my wifi network, will it still be listed as a component in my system? And when it goes back on to the network, will it automatically recognise it and name it as previously e.g Spare Bedroom?Thanks, and sorry for being a techno-pleb!

Apologize if this is redundant. I’ve been searching around and only seen bits and pieces of what I’m looking for. I have a 2020 Samsung TV mounted on a fireplace (no mantle). Is it possible to use an Amp bonded with two Fives for wireless tv audio? I know this is a bit overkill...but I have no desire for a soundbar, and I don’t want to use the Fives as rears. 2 reasons for doing this: keeps the missus happy with no wires (outlets tucked behind Fives) AND I’d like to have the “better” audio quality of Fives in general for music. Thanks so much...and if someone answered this elsewhere, I’m ok with reading a link, just had trouble finding one.

Hi there, I’ve just changed routers and cannot find my S1. I have been through the questions on the app (did you change router etc) but it just says “cannot find Sonos system on this account”. I have tried Sonos online chat to reboot the speaker and the router still with no success. is there anything else that I could try or do I need to do a factory reset?Many thanks

I know this has been asked before but all of the threads seem rather old.  I have an opportunity to buy two play:3’s from a friend.  Will these still work with the S2 app and be able to connect with the Beam as surround speaker?  Appreciate the response. 

My Play 5 gen 1 has stopped working. The LED is flashing very rapidly - not like the slow ‘ready to connect’ blink. I’ve tried holding down the play/pause button whilst powering up to reset the device but the LED just blinks white once and then goes back to the rapid green flashes. The app (S1) can’t find the speaker. Is this a hardware problem? Is my beloved Sonos dead?

In my living room I have both my TV, with a Beam for sound, and my hi-fi (turntable, amplifier, passive speakers). I’m looking at getting a Port or Connect for my hi-fi to both stream music to the system from Spotify and also to integrate the turntable into my multiroom system.I want all music to go through the Port/hi-fi, and all TV to go through the Beam. So my understanding is that I would just create two ‘rooms’ - one for TV and one for Music?What I’m unsure about though is the Alexa integration. The Port obviously doesn’t have Alexa integration and the Beam does. I can connect an Echo device to the Port, but having two voice devices in the same room could be annoying.So, is there a way of setting things up so that if I ask Alexa through the Beam to play music, it plays on the hi-fi instead? Or would I need to disable Alexa on the Beam and connect an Echo device to the Port, and use that for all voice-control in this room? Or something else?!

I’ve seen there’s a couple of similar topics about web radios not launching from TuneIn, but none fits exactly my problem. I have a Sonos One SE with the Alexa voice control. I’m based in Spain, and have used the command “Alexa play X on TuneIn” for a long time (I can either say it in English or in Spanish, and it works). But three days ago, every time I ask the same command, I get an answer like “The station X isn’t available right now on TuneIn” (well, Alexa says it in Spanish, literally “La emisora X no está disponible en este momento para TuneIn”) So it seems the command is recognized, because the name of the station is said correctly. I have another Echo device and the same command works perfectly there. Launching the station from the Sonos app on my phone also works. The problem happens with stations from my country (like “RAC1” “Cadena COPE” or “RNE Radio Nacional”), so it shouldn’t be a matter of regional restrictions. The only station I’ve managed to launch is “CNN en Español”

Very basic question regarding the volume slider values if I may please?0 up to 15 I do understand, however 0 down to -15, what does that mean in the Controller?

I can currently stream music from my iOS devices to two Bose Home speaker 500s; two Sony AV receivers (hard wired to surround sound speakers); and one Lithe Audio speaker - all are Apple Airplay2 compatible. I now want a method to connect my old hi-fi system (tape deck, turntable, amp) to all these speakers.  I was wondering if the Sonos Port was the answer.  Hard wire connection from old hi-fi to Sonos Port and then stream from Sonos to any speaker.  Will it work or does Sonos Port only work with its own set of Airplay2 speakers? many thanks...

maybe I just do not have the patience to browse through all the chats here, but I did a bit and I did not come across anyone (to my bewilderment)  mentioning the fact that there is no way to switch between bluetooth and wifi remotely. One always has to press the connectivity button at the back of the device. IS THERE ANY WAY TO DO THIS FROM YOUR PHONE?

HI!One of my Play1 speakers, part of pair with a Beam, just suddenly started flashing red / white.Steps taken so far:Reset Plugged into router via ethernet Factory RestsNo luck so far. From what I’ve read so far this seems to be a failed update (?).The Sonos App tries to add the speaker to the system - finds it, makes it chime, indicates that it’s been added, but doesn’t appear on the system. So the speaker seems to have some level of functionality, but seems bricked on the software side of things??? Is there any way to get the update to start again and un-brick the device?Thanks!

Hello, I’m facing a weird problem. I’m having Alexa enabled on my Move, my Arc and two Play:1. Alexa is working perfectly fine on the Move but neither on the Ones nor on the Arc. After saying “Alexa” the sound appears and after telling it “play radiostation x” it confirm “playing radio station x from tunein” but then nothing happens. As well, I have a skill setup for my favorite radiostation. After saying “play radiostation y” the skills start, the welcome me on their station and then - dead silence. All of this is working perfectly fine. Facts in reagards to the system:3x Play:12x Play:One1 Sonos Arc with Sub 3 and two SL as surround1 Move Of course, the latest software update is installed, controller up to date. WIFI/Router has been rebootet, no settings changed. If unplugged the entire system and bootet it up beginning with Arc and ending with the Move. If completely removed Alexa from all speakers, rebootet the entire sysem, setup Alex again - exactly same issue.  Anbody got a clue

Hi, Sonos Radio channels won’t play and constantly give error message that the radio service isn’t available for playback. I’ve re-authorised the radio service but this doesn’t resolve the issue. Hope you can help.

HI, I have several speakers + Sonos Boost, and my home wifi consists of 1 router and 3 BT wifi extender discs. If I plug the Boost into the main rooter the speakers furthest away from the Boost drop out too regularly to make this viable. If I plug the Boost into one of the Wifi extender discs then the system works fine for about 3 months but, after this, then the extender with the Boost plugged into it starts to need resetting before Sonos works.  At first, this happens quite infrequently but eventually it starts to happen every few minutes until I move the Boost to another disc. I’ve now run out of dics! I’ve tried both BT’s and Sono’s technical support without success. Can anyone recommend a fix which either would allow me to run the Boost through my main router (with all the speakers working) or stops the Boost resetting the Wifi discs? Many thanks in advance. 

Hi AllBackstory once a very happy google play member with my own music playlists and selections uploaded to Google. Where Sonos and Google play and my Sony Bravia were all compatible happy days… Then we were forced to migrate into YouTube music which was as bad as could be expected and wouldn't playback through the Bravia or even see any of my music.So it finally looks like they have fixed that so we are halfway back to where we were last year…So the Sonos app doesn't want to play my albums or playlists anyone out there use the Sonos App and YTM (I could do with some pointers on the commands to play the Music you have uploaded in to YouTube cloud..) Any thoughts.CheersPaul

Hi all, First post here, so please go easy on me! Have had a Beam and Sub setup for around 7 months now and it’s been fantastic. Turned on the TV this morning and the Beam is working but the Sub is not. Checked the app and the Sub is showing in the app and I have a white light on the front. I have tried disconnecting power and reconnecting and this hasn’t helped. Diagnostic report number 1546425422. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Everyone,This is giving me the s**ts and was wondering if someone can assist me. Even better if Sonos chimes in and tell me they are working on it!My setup is  Apple TV 4K → HD Fury Acana → Sonos Arc 5.1 (ARC + 2X Surrounds + Sub).When I tell the ATV4K to keep the default format (which includes Atmos), when I watch a 5.1 show which isn’t Atmos, it plays at Multichannel PCM 5.1. This is to be expected, but what isn’t expected is that the volume of the PCM appears much softer and less punchy than if I were to tell the ATV4K to use Dolby Digital 5.1. The sound quality between the two is negligible, so I can’t say “...well MPCM is lower volume, so although I have to turn it up higher, at least the sound quality is much better”.We are talking about very noticeable differences here. What is going on? I would actually expect the Multichannel PCM 5.1 to pull trumps here. This is super annoying because, with this issue, I have a tendency to have it overriding to DD 5.1 on the ATV4K, but when

Hello,I have a Bravia 4K UR2 from 2020 hooked up via optical audio cable to a PlayBar.  For one year, the Playbar has worked fine with the Bravia remote.  However, after the Bravia system update in March 2021, the playbar no longer recognized the remote.  The remote is still IR-enabled (I.e., Bluetooth is off), I replaced the batteries, and I’ve tried to go through the setup-a-new-remote flow on the S2 app a few times.  Any suggestions? Thank you.
