Hi,

Ive searched the forums and can’t seem to find my question, although I’m sure it is already asked.

I have a Sonos Amp with a REL sub and KEF LS50 META’s as stereo speakers.

Is it possible to set up a the Sonos Ones or Ones SL as surround speakers? Also, given the KEF speakers are quite powerful would they drown out the Ones?

Thank you.

Yes, a pair of Sonos Ones or One SLs can be used as surround speakers with the Amp. You can adjust the surround levels in the Sonos app if you need the surrounds to be louder so they are more balanced with your KEF speakers.

If you have a larger room and need more powerful rear surround speakers, you could consider a pair of Fives as surrounds.

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought about the Fives but my room isn’t quite large enough for them.

To clarify, this would make my set up 4.1. How would this effect movies and games which support Dolby 5.1?

The Amp creates a phantom center channel with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio.

Brilliant, thank you.
