I recently moved and decided to invest in 5 new One SL speakers. I also took my old system with me, consisting of two Play:1’s, a Playbar, a Play:3 and Play:5. The system was running on S1 because of the old Play:5. I am ditching the Play:5 because I want to move to the new S2 system. I tried to set up the new system by plugging the old Play:1 with an Ethernet cable in the modem. The S2 app told me to switch to the S1 app. I disconnected the Play:1 and used the One SL instead. This worked well, I managed to set up the One SL’s in the new S2 app, and those speakers work. But now I want to add the Play:1’s, the Playbar and the Play:3. But the problem is that the S2 app now suddenly cannot find them. Is there any way to make those speakers visible again? 

Hi all,I'm new to both the forum and Sonos, so please bear with me regarding this case.I am a bit confused about what I can do with the setup noted in this post title.  There are already a few discussions in the forum about this general subject, but I am still not sure, so I’ll try to be as specific as possible in my situation and what I would ultimately like to accomplish.I currently have an appleTV (non airplay 2 capable). I bought the One with the idea of using it as a smart speaker (Alexa or Google), as well as to serve as the speaker of the ATV, However, I didn't do enough research prior to buying the ONE to realise that I can not stream from my ATV because it is not Airplay 2 capable.Nevertheless, I really like the sound and build quality of the One, so I am sticking with it, so I am now looking for an alternative solution. I know that buying a new AppleTV will solve my problem. However, I am keen on trying the Chromecast with Google TV dongle, which brings me to my question:Will

My Sonos move has been working perfectly. Today, while playing music, it just stopped and now the front orange light is flashing and no other power / light will turn on.  I have tried leaving it on the charging station and using a USB-C charger, I’ve tried all the reset options of holding the power or connect button for a various number of seconds. Nothing is working.  Please help.  Thank you Jason

I replaced my Bridge with Boost and updated to S2. I have installed the system and yesterday it worked with my iPhone 6 and iPad 4. My iPhone 12 cannot find the system in the Sonos app. There is no problem to play with Spotify. Today also the iPad has lost connection with Sonos. I have allowed integrity/local network.

Hi does anyone know why the volume is so low even when the bar is set to halfway up ? I’m not hard of hearing but seems weird that I half to go at least to over half way to get decent sound

Maybe someone here can help.  I had my arc and sub on my "system" and working fine.  I then added Roam to the "system". My sub and Arc then we're no longer recognized on the system.  I was able to get the sub back after resetting it. but it is not paired with the Arc because I cannot get it back so it is not working.   I have reset the Arc and I get all the way to adding to my wifi and it doesn't recognize my wifi network and asks for the password. I put it in and it still won't work.  The sub, Roam, and two play 1's, are all on the same network with the same password but the Arc won't connect.  I restarted my router as well and still nothing.  Very frustrating. 

The Spotify account is my account. My wife uses it through her Sonos app on her phone. I use Spotify throughout the day while I’m at the office and/or car. My wife will be at home using Spotify through the Sonos app. I’ll be at the office using Spotify through the Spotify app, and we cut each other off. We can’t both be using it, even though we’re in 2 different locations. Any thoughts or does she have to have her own Spotify account? 

Hey all. Just received my ARC but just laying it flat without any cords plugged in it's extremely wobbly. The slightest touch makes in fall forward. Maybe not weighted properly? I'm afraid when I hook it up the smallest vibration will send it falling to the floor and yes, it's sitting properly flat side down. Any ideas asto why or is this normal? Doesn't seem like it would be.Thank you people! 

Hi All, I’ve just took delivery of my first beam and whilst set up was floor less through my iPad, getting it set up via my iPhone is a different story as it keeps stating my beam can not be found on the network despite both my iPad and iPhone being connected to the same home WiFi network.

Hi,I am in process of a remodel and going to be purchasing a whole home ceiling speaker system.  I will have four zones with 4 Sonos amps which is pretty self explanatory.  but my issue is in my living room I will have it set up as a 5.1 surround with an arc and a sub (all Sonos). So my understanding is if I do this then I can not independently of the tv stream music on those ceiling speakers through my phone. I have two questions about this:If I use to stream through the tv so I can get the ceiling speakers to work. Then can I turn off only the arc? Also can I get it to play the same music as the rest of the house? this is the best option. How can I have those ceiling speakers still play music independently even after being part of the surround set up? I don’t mind spending extra money but I need this to work. Can I buy a 2nd amp and have the same ceiling speakers be part of a surround and also attached to another amp simultaneously?

I love the Rain Rain app with its library of soothing sounds that I play from my Apple XS. How do I connect (wired or preferably wireless network that Playbar is connected to) from iPhone XS to Playbar? Airplay is integrated into Rain Rain. I have a Vizio smart TV as well.

Anyone else have a ‘wobbly’ Ethernet port? Tried connecting Ethernet yesterday and noticed that the port is incredibly loose. The port on the playbar was very solid and firm. This one looks very shoddy. Is this normal for the Arc?  I’m not convinced that it is even working (need to do some more tests to confirm it is getting an IP address - initially disabling the wifi on the Arc rendered it unmanageable. So I suspect that ethernet is not getting any connection to the network at all).   

Having had my Roam since the release date and no issues, I now find that it will not seem to connect to wifi. It does not show up on my Sonos app, it doesn’t appear when you add new product yet it works in Bluetooth mode.If tried unplugging, rebooting, but the only thing I can get is the blue light for Bluetooth play, which does work but I obvs want it connected with the rest of my speakers on wifi.

I recently purchased 5.1.2 Entertainment Set with Arc, Sub G3 & One SL to use in my theater room in my basement.  My intent was to pair it with my Yamaha RX-V685 receiver and Epson 4010 4K projector.  I also use a Roku Ultra 2020 to stream my video.After trying several different connections and configurations, I can’t get sound to play through my Sonos.  Have I made a very expensive mistake buying the Sonos? 

Hi all Looking for help on what product I need here. I have 4 Sonos Ones throughout the house and two beams spread across the kitchen/dining area and living room.My office is separate to the house in a room in the garden and I have my laptop connected to a set of Logitech Z623.Is there a way to connect the logitechs to the rooms i have set up in the house so that the same music can play in all three areas? If so, what device do i need to buy to make it happen? Thanks Patrick

Hi i currently have a sonos five and two sonos one SL'sconnected together playing in my dining room im thinking of adding another sonos five to that setup and stereo pair them just wondering will it make a big difference to what ive already got which is pretty awesome.

I recently purchased a Roam so I can play music without the Sonos app. I have an existing Play:1, which I added to the Roam’s system. Is there anyway for the Play:1 to also work when I am connected to the Roam via Bluetooth? The two speakers play fine together when I use the Sonos app over wifi. Based on this article, it seems like I am out of luck. Can I create one playlist from 2 different streaming providers (ie. Amazon music & Spotify)?

Hi, I purchased a Sonos Move a few weeks ago. Currently, my Sonos system consists of: Play 5 (Gen1), One SL, One, Boost, Play:1. The move was working great until about a week ago. All of the sudden it just keeps dropping out of my controller App. This happens every morning when I wake up, it is gone and at least 1 or 2 times throughout the day it just stops playing and drops off. I have to hold the power button in on the unit to reset. Once it boots up, then it is shown on the network in the app. This is super annoying. I am not sure what happened to it as we didn’t change anything. How can we fix it? We are using the S1 controller app until we update the Play 5.

I’ve been using Apple HomeKit Apple Home with Sonos for about 8 months. Home automation and controls worked great!  When I arrive home, turn on all lights and stat music everywhere.  When I want everything off it did it. Recently I’ve been unable to control Sonos in the Home app.  I just realized that when selecting the speaker it says controls are unavailable. I use an AppleTV as the home hub.  It would usually turn on (including the TV) to make these commands possible. now nothing.things I’ve triedlogging in and out of iCloudin and out of keychainremoved and added the speakerturned off 5G on my routerunplugged and plugged the speakerthis behavior is consistent with all Sonos speakers  

I had a major mishap in my apartment which required dismantling my Sonos system setup.Now I am trying to put it back - after a long time - and need your guidance. I am completely lost !!I have the following components :  1 Sonos bridge1 Sonos boost - wireless extender for Sonos1 Sonos Connect:Amp2 speakers Sonos play 32 in- ceiling speakers  

We have a bridge, a Sonos Play 5, 2 Sonos Play 3 and and a Play 1 My husband upgraded to S2 - not realising he should not and told me that 3 of the rooms had stopped working.I could see that 3 of the components had upgraded to S2 (Excluding Play 5 and Bridge)So I have reset the 3 back to factory settings and I can seem them on the wifi network However, despiite the fact that I can see Bridge and Play 5 from the Sonos controller  I cannot add back the 3 reset components Each time I try to do this I am told update needed, then I see update problem I was with support for 3 hours last night and no solution in sight any suggestions on what to do I have not changed my Reuter in any way - although I have restarted it and both the Bridge and Play 5 last night
