Received two new Roams. I’m waiting for a sub and two new 5’s, so still using S1 controller. I thought I could use the roams as Bluetooth speakers. They won’t pair with my iOS devices until I set them up on S2? And I can’t setup S2 until I get my new speakers which are back ordered? Roam should function as a Bluetooth speaker standalone should it not?

Hi, I have Google assistant controlling a play 5 speaker, when I play music the volume from the Sonos is almost inaudible but the Google speakers are quite loud. How do you balance the volume levels and have them not fall out of sync when changing the volume in the future?

I have linked my Amazon Prime Account to Sonos successfully.  Yet anytime I go to try and play anything from Amazon Music, I just get a message telling me to subscribe to Unlimited.  It directs me to amazon.com/music_on_sonos where I am being asked to subscribe.  Am I missing something if all I want is to access the free music I can get through my Prime subscription?

Hi thereI am new to this forum and have a question regarding the Sonos Port and set up.  My set up idea is this…..  To connect a turntable in to the Sonos Port, I understand I would use the ‘Analog Audio In’ RCA jacks. Then is it possible to stream the audio from the turntable to my Sonos Beam via wifi? If i can stream the audio to my Sonos Beam would my turntable need to have a preamp as well? Or would I not require a preamp in this situation? Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. The Sonos Port isn’t cheap and I don’t want to spend that kind of money on something that wont work in the way im hoping   

Is there a way to access the Sonos Roam via the S2 app to adjust the equalizer (EQ) or view battery level when on Bluetooth?I mainly use this speaker via AirPlay (Wi-Fi) as my shower speaker and use the EQ to reduce bass and increase treble. I have taken it on several mountain biking trips and forgot to reset the EQ. Once I realize the error in my ways at the trailhead, I attempt to open the S2 app on my iPhone XS (Bluetooth 5.0) I do not see the Roam in order to adjust/reset EQ or view battery level.Thanks in advance!

I’m a software developer creating a service for SONOS. I used to be able to use the form at http://:1400/customsd.htm to add my test service to the device, but it no longer works (although the form tells me “Success!” when I submit it). Is there still a way to do this? I’ve factory-reset the SONOS several times and uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

What apps can I use that will play a full album/CD from one artist? I do have my Apple library but not sure if there is an app for me to access that content.

I upgraded my system to S2 App and Amp to the latest version  The Sub is connected to Amp and remains connected but I get NO sound at all from the AMP and then the Sub Drops out (?)  NO idea why Worked fine before I upgraded to the S2 App

Is it possible to turn down the Assistant volume on the Sonos One independently of the music volume? I have my Sonos One fairly loud but don't need the Assistant to shout!

I have two sonos set ups, one at the office and one at home.Im assuming the playlists you create sit with the main speaker on a system as,for example my Sonos playlist at the office disappears when at home and vis versa.Is it possible to create one playlist to play across more than one system?? Over to you guys, thanks in advance.

I’m a PC user. I have an audio book on several CDs.Using iTunes, I’d like to rip all the CDs so I can do the following: Play the digital files ripped from CD stored on my PC using my Play5s, and PlayOnes Play the files on my iphone or ipod.Does the Sonos system require the files to be in a specific format? I don’t want to rip them, only to realize they should have been ripped to a different format. Thanks!

So I have moved house and have no direct internet connection all I have is a 4g hotspot.I havetwo gen 1 play 5original bridgeoriginal subIve been told there is no way to connect my gear now without hard wired internet is this true? 

getting my feet wet with 4x Sonos Symfonisks and …… I am really disappointed… Also blown away with the contrast of general positive reviews of people who own and use these (very expensive) systems and the incredibly poor UX this has been so far for me, a systems engineer. How on earth are people actually living with these systems? There was an endless loop trying to get the sonos app to remember that I was logged in… I had to reboot my (somewhat high-end Asus RT-AX92U) wireless router each time I wanted to set up a speaker. Two of the speakers needed factory reset… All I want to do is listen to the No Agenda show! I got it to play on one speaker, but then tried to play it on all 4 SYMFONISKs  (bedroom, den, living room (stereo right and left) and got some sort of connection error and problem adding the podcast to the queue? And now I’m in an endless re-authorization loop. Plex now has 6 instances of authorized Sonos connections… I had way higher expectations for Sonos coming into this.

so im connected the arc to the only Arc HDMI on Samsung  Q80r, its not 2.1..Series X will give error when putting sound to bitstream and selecting Atmos or dTS-X, says not supported.. end of story.. I can however get Atmos direct from built in apps . Netflix using DD+...do I have a chance or do I need new 2.1 TV? So I can't even use the Xbox same way- have it output Atmos via DD+ lossy? should I go Samsung q950a, I had the. q90r Soundbar and stability and problem wise it was horrible , at least the Sonos works when tv is on...Thank you

Hello, I’m having an issue with my Sonos system that is incredibly frustrating.  I have several Sonos products (3 s2 amps, play bar, and play1) and when using Apple Music the music will play fine for a few songs and then will randomly stop and then I’ll get a “can’t connect to Apple Music” error.  I’m pretty positive this isn’t a network issue as the other music services work fine and it seems the Apple Music stops working at the end of a song.  If anyone from Sonos is monitoring this I submitted a diagnostic report, (ID: 1821312135) and have removed and re-added the service with no resolution to the problem.Any help on this issues would be greatly appreciated. -Brad 

This has only just started in the last month or so, you add a track to ‘play next’ to the queue which it puts into the queue but just continues past it? Any ideas? thanks 

So this morning (29 Jun 21) I was listening to BBC radio when, mid programme, I suddenly got a repeating announcement that "due to rights restrictions parts of this programme are unavailable". It was BBC radio 4, via Tune In, which is my morning alarm. I have tried other BBC stations, on Tune In and Sonos Radio. I am on the old Sonos App as I am a long standing customer and still use one speaker that is incompatible with the new app (though I have others that are). So what happened, and how do I get BBC back?

Hello, if I have an Echo setup with Spotify Account #1 but the Sonos is setup with Spotify Account #2, which Spotify account will be used if I asked Echo to play a song on my Sonos speaker? I am planning to purchase a few Sonos speakers and I have a bunch of Echo’s in the house already so I just wanted to make sure how this all works. Hi,Ive searched the forums and can’t seem to find my question, although I’m sure it is already asked.  I have a Sonos Amp with a REL sub and KEF LS50 META’s as stereo speakers.  Is it possible to set up a the Sonos Ones or Ones SL as surround speakers? Also, given the KEF speakers are quite powerful would they drown out the Ones?Thank you. 

Hello ,  I have Sonos beam + 2 sonos One , I actually connected each other in one room .I am put music from my phone everything work good. But When I connect it to te samsung tv The sound come out just from the beam and not the 2 Sonos oneCan you help me how to fix this ?Thank You   

Hi EveryoneI have come from a 7.1 Denon Surround sound system onto the Sonos set-up.Previous set-up was over kill for me and the amount of cables drove the wife insane.So I now have a BEAM, which I love, and recently purchased x2 Sonos Ones for the surrounds. I have a couple of small issues that maybe the community can help me with. First off, I can turn the TV off with ALEXA , but when I turn it back on it defaults to DVB and not the HDMI, even if DVB is disabled in Hotel mode on the TV. I have to use the TV remote to switch to HDMITV model : Panasonic TC-55CX800Anyone have any ideas on this?Second issue, If I ask Alexa to play my music, it mutes or stops the TV audio. (Which is good)but then if I ask Alexa to “play TV sound” nothing happens. I have to use the TV remote to raise the volume again. Basically I can’t get the beam to switch back to TV audio. Anyone have any ideas on this? (I have a feeling its linked to the first issue)Third and final issue…70% of the time I watch TV thro

Why do you need to always use a streaming service to get music  stored on a  iPad to listen on the Sonos 1 speaker,   computer version works I know but leaving on all day is a stupid idea, it seems your being forced to sign up to companies to make items work.it works perfect for other apps Mixcloud etc, so why does it not with Apple, my iPad is a 2020 model 8 th generation surely something can be done with a simple update.

Just fitted a arc and 4 in ceiling Speakers as the surround, fitted both right to right and left to left, surround speakers are now set at +15 and are really quiet, watching fast and furious Hobbs and shaw on Netflix really poor? What have I done wrong?

Hello all,I have a Sound Blaster Z se that has an optical out that is connected to a Z90. Although I can get music from Pandora, no option for a line in signal is available within the sonos software. No PC sounds can be head .Is there something that needs to be changed for the line in to use an optical signal?
