After power outage no sound out of wired home speakers even though app shows it is playing.  Sound works through wireless sonos speakers and alexa speakers.

Thank you for your replies.  Problem solved, one of the plugs was accidentally pulled.  Back up and running...sounding great!

Wired to what? How are they connected to Sonos? Have you tried a reboot, since this power outage?

I had this happen once. It turned out that, due to a slip of the hand, the speaker was muted.

I have had endless problems after power outages, system updates or networking changes. Two solutions, one temporary and one that so far appears to be permanent.

Temporary: Power down all Sonos, Reboot router and Sonos Controllers. Power up any wired Sonos main speakers (not Sub or surrounds) one at a time. Power up any wireless Sonos main speakers. Power up any Surrounds.

Permanent: Using your router’s DHCP page assign Sonos devices static/reserved IP addresses. Then do the Temp fix above to get them all on the new addresses.
