Hi

Am I right in thinking that I can add a old Sonos5 series1" to my Sonos Arc & x2 Sonos1 surrounds Setup/Room & play my vinyls through the 5s but enable playback through my arc & 1s

Think that make sense 😳!🤣!

& will there be any issue with the 5 being Series1 & the app

I'll control everything from the new Sonos App so I can't see any 

As far as I can understand I'll just be using the 5 as a vinyl bridge into my Sonos Setup 😉!🤔!......

The Sonos Arc runs on the Sonos S2 app. The Play:5 (Gen 1) is only compatible with the S1 app. If you want to play vinyl music through the Arc, you need to connect your turntable to a Play:5 (Gen 2) or Five. You could also use a Sonos Port.
