Hey all!  Got a new TV and wanted Airplay & volume control to work so I bought a Beam to replace the Playbar from my old TV setup.  New TV working great with a Beam + Sub + 2 old Play 1’s for surround.  ✅ All good.

Question: If I “group” the old Playbar to the room (as configured above), will the Playbar improve or detract from the 5.1 surround sound?

Yeah, I know I could/should just try it but I’m away from home and wanted to ask the sound geeks first.  Thoughts?

If you group the Playbar with the Beam setup in the Sonos app, you will experience a slight delay from the audio playing out of the Playbar.
