We use the Sonos arc only for tv fidelity. I use the app to adjust volume-but tv volume varies greatly depending on what we watch. Really a hassle to keep phone nearby and set volume for each show. This is not a problem w our previous surround system or when we use the tv speakers alone.
We bought the Arc only to improve tv sound fidelity (system is in cavernous great room w open walls) which it does-except requires constant adjustment.
Disappointed that the arc can’t maintain consistent volume across tv shows.
