Help with Roam, please.I have 2 Roams. One white and one black. The white Roam is working fine. However for the past couple days the black Roam has been appearing as "offline" on my Sonos app and I cannot reconnect it to my system. Furthermore, when I try to use the "Find my device" feature in the Sonos App to try to repair the connection, the App says that I need to update my App, which is not true as I have the latest update and my App is set to automatically update anyway.  When I try to update the App manually, the Sonos app freezes. The App issue and the Roam issue may be two separate issues but they are definitely related in so much as I can't even begin to re-connect my black Roam because the "find my device" function is frozen at the "update your App" stage. The black Roam is fully charged and works on Bluetooth.Wi-fi signal quality is not an issue either because I have tested the white Roam next to the black Roam and it works fine.  I moved the black Roam next to the wi-fi rou

Hi. I’ve done a lot of digging to no resolve. Hopefully something simple I’m missing.  Background:I have a small home, with google nest wifi in every room of the house. I have Sonos beam + 2x ones in the living room, and a play one in the study, that work perfectly.  The problem:I have a Sonos play one in the bedroom- sitting right next to a google nest wifi point, that always cuts in an out.  the google wifi app tells me it has a weak connection, yet everything else connected in the entire house has strong connections.  Is there a simple problem I’m missing? Or a faulty product? i can’t change wifi channel because apparently google selects the best one automatically. 

I have a Roam for my Bathroom upstairs (maybe BathRoam?)    I have two Sonos Ones paired in stereo in my living room, downstairs. My question is,  when I clean etc. I want to be able to have the same thing playing on all three speakers.  How can I do this, and then separate them again, most easily?   Thank You!!

I’ve been trying to find a way of disposing of a Play:1 any other way than binning it. It doesn’t come up on my account to apply for an upgrade and don’t mind. Just want to dispose of it thoughtfully.

I have (2) 5.1 setups. Both amps were hooked up and working. Suddenly one rooms surrounds stopped working but it says it is connected. If I remove both surrounds I can hook up either room of surrounds with one amp but when I go to put the living room surrounds back to the living room amp the media room surrounds won’t work. They say they are connected but no sound comes out?

If I buy this new subscription being offered can I play it on my IPhone when I am away from my house and no wifi?

i have been using my sonos sub for the past 2 years now and suddenly it won't power on. i have tried all possible options like changing the power cord, changing location, etc... but still to no avail. can somebody help me because this is really freaking me out. 

Hello,I have just changed my TV for a TCL 65C825, but the remote doesn’t seem to be recognized by the Playbase ?It’s a RC802NU1 remote, I confirm that it’s an IR remote (I have tested it with my cam).The Playbase works fine with an other remote, so it looks like it doesn’t understand the code sent by the TCL remote.Have you ever experienced such issue please ? 

Hey guys a quick question? I powered up my Play 1 the other day and I heard a pop and crackling coming from inside. Now I can't even get the light to come on I have tried other power cords as I have another two onboard. Is it goosed or is it possible to get them fixed?

Intermittent thumping coming from speaker when quiet music is played.  Any thoughts?  I read someone else”s thread with same issue.

Hi, we've been noticing this issue for the past few weeks: when a TV is turned on, unrelated rooms that are also not grouped with the TV may begin playing music.Here is a Diagnostic captured a minute or two after the issue occured: 605248757We have 3 tvs in the house, each has either a Beam or an Arc.To reproduce this occasional problem:1. Make sure all Sonos products are not playing any audio.2. Turn on a TV that is connected to either a Beam or an Arc.3. Observe the connected product will properly begin playing TV audio, but other products will begin playing music.Let me know if you need any more info, thanks!

First time poster here! I've been extremely happy with my Sonos Arc, 2 One SLs for surrounds and Sub 3 as a whole. I've recently realized that I had my setup running incorrectly and was only getting stereo PCM forwarded through my speakers, so I started changing a few things to get the best sound I can. Here's a summary of my setup:TV: LG CX (65") running latest firmwareSonos arc connected to eArc port with HDMI 2.1 cable. Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xfinity 4k cable box all connected to other TV HDMI ports with HDMI 2.1 cables.Arc, 2 One SLs, and Sub 3 all running latest firmware, as are the connected devices.TV settings: eArc is toggled on, audio is set to passthrough with all HDMI set to "bitstream."When I change the Nintendo Switch to surround sound in its settings menu, there's no audio signal detected at all. I’ve really liked the size and sound of the Roam, but there’s been a few problems with the battery. The first is that the Roam keeps turning itself on, even while sleeping or turned off - but this is being addressed in another thread. The second issue is that even while plugged in (not Q pad, but USB), the Roam battery drains while in use. I’ve a Move that doesn’t do this. The Roam *does* charge while not in use while plugged in (unless it wakes up from Off, then it drains), so there’s not a connection problem. At the very least, it should continue to charge AND be able to play music. I’m forced to use it plugged in while outside because it never has more than a 35% charge due to the draining issue while shut off.Please tell me there’s a software/firmware update in the works to fix this. It’s pretty frustrating to have bought an expensive device and not be able to use it as advertised.

I currently have the 5.1 setup with a playbase and am having issues with audio from my Play 1s. The audio skips every few seconds or so for everything (spotify, video games, regular TV, streaming).I have an ethernet cable plugged into the base and have the others connected via wifi. I have read through a few posts about remedying my issue but none have worked. I tried:Hard reset all speakersUnplug speakers and router then reconnectUnplugging eternity cable and restarting router then reconnecting ethernetIs there is anything else I can try?

 I currently have a Connect (Gen 2) connecting a pair of 25-year old Bose ceiling speakers. The Bose subwoofer is broken. Can I just buy a Sonos subwoofer and be good to go?  If not, and I buy Sonos ceiling speakers, can I use my Connect (Gen 2) or do I need to upgrade that to an Amp? 

I have an Arc connected to my Vizio TV via HDMI/ARC.  All works fine.  Then I added an Amp connected to a pair of wired speakers.  No audio comes out the wired speakers when watching video.  I tried a 5.1 surround sound test video to confirm this.  If I touch volume control on the Amp a chime sound comes out of the wired speakers so I believe that part is working.  Everything has white status lights.  Any tips? 

Just moved, had to factory reset the Play 1 and Play 5, connected to a few music services.  I have a nice library of music in Itunes on my PC.  How do I connect that libary to the Sonos system via the Android app on my phone?  Answers etc. in FAQs and forums seem outdated.Thanks.DTM

Have had a roam since April, today stopped working completely dead, unable to reset, when plugged in using supplied usb cable and a Sonos plug adapter all I get is a constant orange light Have I now got a door stop😥😱

I have an Arc + Amp + Sub setup for my home theater and just added two pairs of Ones on my back deck for music.  I would like to be able to use them independently and listen to music on the Ones while others are watching video on the Arc system.If I try to play music through the ones (from, e.g., YouTube music) while someone is watching video on the theater system, the app tells me I must disconnect the TV in order to listen to the music.  Is there a way to set up the two systems so that they can be used at the same time with different sources?  It seems like this should be possible since the home theater system works fine without using the app.  

My SONOS was playing sound just fine but when a friend tried pairing with a SONY speaker I had, she inadvertently tried pairing it to my Sony TV which has my SONOS hooked to it. As soon as I canceled the attempt, my SONOS quit playing sound thru my TV. I have not been able to get it to work again. I’ve tried resetting the TV speakers to internal & then back to external. I’ve tried pushing the button on the back of the SONOS arc. I’ve tried unplugging the HDMI cable to the SONOS, waiting 30 seconds & plugging it back in. I’ve tried unplugging the HDMI cable to the SONOS, waiting for my TV to switch automatically to internal speakers, plugging it back in & waiting for my TV to switch automatically back to my external speakers, which it does but still no sound. I’ve tried unplugging the power to the SONOS, TV & DISH Joey, waiting 30 seconds & plugging it back in. I’ve tried resetting the Joey & the network connection. I have had a few problems relating to my wifi and thus I invested in having an ethernetcable installed next to my arc to be able to connect via this cable, since the arc, sub and sorround speakers are furthest away from my router.However when connecting via cable directly to arc, nothing seems to be changing. If I try to deactivate wifi in the setup menu, the system however states, that I have to install an ethernetcable (which I already did).How can I see whether the speaker is using cable connection or wifi? And do I have to deactivate wifi in the speaker setup menu?

I have had surround sound set up and working in conjunction with my Arc and Sub for 10 months. Over the last few days it has stopped working. My app is up to date, all my equipment is up to date. I have reset and rebooted both Sonos 1 speakers. I have rebooted my wifi (nothing else has a problem with wifi). I get two messages, depending on where I am in the rebooting process:There was a problem adding your surrounds. Check the network connection and make sure your products are powered on (done)Your left surround is unavailable. You can add a new surround or remove the existing one (have tried both).The Arc, and both Sonos 1 speakers all work independently of each other, just not as a surround.Please help! 

I need help. My beam connected to Samsung TV using either ARC or optical adapter started making humming noise that increases in intensity as the volume is increased. I submitted a diagnostic report 183645054. Please help.
