Hello, I am getting ready to purchase a Sonos ARC and a SUB.for surround speakers I am going to get the “In-Ceiling Set”https://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/amp-and-ceiling-set.htmlWill these all work together? Does anyone have this setup? Are they happy with it?I was trying to find some docs on how I would connect the Sonos ARC and the AMP that comes with the “In-Ceiling Set”Thanks for any help 

This could get long so apologies in advance. This has been a game of dominoes/whack-a-mole and I’m not sure what to do next….Upgraded my wifi system to ASUS ZenWiFi AX (XT8). Had immediate issues with the majority of my Sonos speakers no longer available. Only the Arc (+surrounds+sub) and one other remain. Found the Community articles Downgraded the ASUS firmware to 25790. Sonos speakers showed up! But Internet speeds went from consistent 400Mbps to intermittent 1-5Mbps. Reverted router to latest firmware. Internet works. Sonos speakers gone again. Plugged Arc ethernet port directly into router to form SonosNet. All the speakers are back! Atmos no longer working, showing Stereo PCM. Unplug Arc ethernet cable, back on wifi, Atmos back! Other speakers gone. Move another speaker to plug into router, Speakers are back! Atmos is gone again.At this point I’m kind of at a loss as to how to get Atmos to work with my setup. Any suggestions or personal experience would be apprecaited.

Hello,Is it possible for Move to automatically group with my Playbase connected to tv using any home assistant or sensors of any kind or on routine activation? I am watching tv then go to the kitchen where Move stands. I want it to automatically group with Playbase so I can hear the tv. When I leave the kitchen I would like it to ungroup itself. Is it possible in any, proven and trustworthy way? 

I have a system of four Symfonisk speakers. Three wireless and one wired (in my home office), using BT home internet without a home phone.  The wired speaker works perfectly, but the wireless ones drop on and off the network constantly - particularly the one  in the kitchen - the one I use most. The app regularly says it cannot find or connect with the device, and streaming content regularly cuts and/or drops. Or simply just stops for no reason.  I just bought a Boost to improve things, but it hasn’t really changed anything. I added it following the instructions and relocated it between the router and the kitchen.  The Kitchen speaker - although less than three metres away and even when directly in line of sight - still drops on and off. Questions:1. How do I know if the Kitchen speaker is even connecting to the boost? And if not, how do I make it connect  I have cycled power on it several times.I feel like I should re-add all the speakers but can’t find a way remove them. Is there a w

Simple Question:If I were to buy a SONSO product today (which i won’t - you lot me as a customer) how long will it be before you hoodwink me with my new SONOS products? We talking 6-years again? Just don’t understand how I, or anyone else could ever trust you again…. Can you give me an honest answer about how long my “new” SONOS product will work before you pull the same tricks?

I have a Visio smart TV with a Beam attached. All works fine … except that after any power outage (utility induced or me just pulling the plug)  and power coming back on … the Sonos speaker switches the TV on. Something of an issue when no-one is home, possibly for an extended period. Connection is via ARC. Workarounds are obvious but is this the expected behavior? If not, which settings are causing this? I recently purchased a new home and a 75” Samsung 2021 Frame TV. My ceilings are 10’ tall and the wall the tv is going on is 15.5’ wide. The main viewing seat is 15-16’ from the wall. The room over all is a large open concept kitchen and living room. I don’t have a measurement but I would guess 25-30’ deep and about 18’ wide. I’ll include photos from the real estate listing (Previous owners furniture). I’ve marked the tv location and main seating in green. I plan to also mount a Sonos Arc underneath the tv and add a sonos sub in the near future. Another unique feature is my baseboard trim is a foot tall. Typically I have hung TVs where the center is at eye level but I’ve never had a room or tv this big. With the added distance from the tv I’m thinking it needs to be mounted higher than I normally would. I also need to account for the sound bar underneath (seems like this is the best location). Any insight or suggestions are appreciated.   

Hi, my Roam speaker stopped working.  Became completely dead.  There was only a small LED at the bottom that shone red.  Anyone else had similar problems?

I have a Sonos “Port” set to pass through mode which is connected to my hifi (Peachtree Nova 300) so that I get “hi res”. The latest change announced which says that Sonos handles Qobuz 24/48 is interesting but it’s not very clear how it “works”. For instance, does it mean that I can turn of the pass through and get 24/48 at the Peachtree and the Peachtree still does the DAC?ThanksMark

My beam played music yesterday when connected to group with two roams and one move.  The beam also worked last night when connected to TV.  It will still work with TV, but not working when connected to group for music.  The beam is connect both on laptop and phone app.  

Currently I have a pair of Sonos P1 and additional PC speakers connected via 3.5mm to a PC in Office.I have been thinking of ways I can replace these with maybe a Beam or new Beam and combine them in some way. I can then re use the P1’s in another room.My PC monitors/screens are connected via Display Port, and looking in manual they have a Display Port out, for connecting additional monitors/screens. I don’t use this port currently.My thoughts are I could use a passive Display Port to HDMI cable and connect the Display Port out to HDMI to a Sonos Beam.Has anyone done anything similar and had a working system with no sound delay due to processing etc?Is there a better to use Sonos Beam for PC speakers, key is no delay in sound. 

can Playbar surround (play3 and Sub) support dolby atmos with apple tv 4k 6gen and i have old tv

This issue just started happening last week.  I have an Arc & 2 SLs connected as surrounds.  When I turn off the TV using my Xfinity remote, the TV goes off & the audio stops briefly.  After about 3 seconds the lights on the speakers turn green & the audio feed comes back on.  I cannot get it off…..so have been muting it.  Any ideas?

I’ve been listening to Proton Radio via TuneIn for a couple of years, without problems. But it has stopped working. The station is still operating, and I can stream directly from the website via my MacBook and Airplay. But I’d rather stream directly to my Sonos system. I already tried “Add Radio Station” without success.I also tried MyTuner and Sonos Radio, but I can’t get it to work. When I change the volume, it's not smooth.  It goes out for like a 1/4 second between volume level steps.  Very brief, but annoying.  So if I hold the volume up on my remote, it doesn't transition smoothly.  It stutters so to speak.  Once I let go of volume button, it's fine. My beam never did that.  Anyone else have this issue?

Sonos Beam hard wired to router at front with sub and 2 sonos one’s rear which keep cutting out.Also, keep loosing 2 Sonos 3’s in a separate room.Have changed routers, mix of hard/wifi connection - same issue keeps cutting out.  On the verge of scrapping and moving to another system as nothing has worked to resolve - any last suggestions?

I’m getting that infuriating ‘due to rights restrictions’ message again when trying to listen to Radio 4 PM today. So I have to find Sounds on my phone or use my old digital radio to listen.Just wondering why Sonos is so unreliable??

My Playbarwill not connect but it powers up and remains solid white.  I have tried to reboot, reset, connect it to router, and nothing works.   

My music files are on a NAS device connected to the local LAN.  I added a folder on that NAS device as the Music Library folder and I can see and play all the .mp3 music files that are located in many of the subfolders of the top Music Library folder.  So far so good.  BTW, the tracks were added to the iTunes library using the same .mp3 files located on the NAS device.The problem I have is with the playlists.  I exported a few playlists from my iTunes library as .xml files.  I  then created a subfolder in the top Music Library folder and copied the exported .xml playlist files into that subfolder.  For some reason I do not see the playlists subfolder in my Music Library on the ipad I run the Sonos app on. So, what I noticed is that in the playlist files exported from iTunes, that is in the .xml playlist files, under file names, iTunes uses the drive letter like P: in the file names, something like this:  //localhost/P:/…….This makes sense as I mapped the NAS shares to different drives

I just purchased a Sonos Roam - probably my 9th piece of Sonos equipment. I tried to hook it up to my system and basically it says that I cant connect this thing unless I throw out all my old SONOS gear. Are you guys short on money or something? This just seem pretty pathetic for a real company to brick all their old equipment. My father has Bose speakers from the 70 that work great.... I just cant believe you would do this to your customers. Is there any way to just listen to this thing with my blue tooth or do I need to register and have the app? What about my friends... Do they need to register and have the app too? If I want to listen to this at my friends house and he has existing Sonos can I use it without him having to brick his old Sonos gear? So many questions abut your goal here??
