connect:amp shutting down after plug in

I have 3 connect:amp running at the moment and one amp shuts down after plugging it in after about 5 seconds. No amber light, it just goes white when plugged in and then turns off. The outlet is powered and stable. Previously the amp worked fine for years so I don’t think it is a short in the speaker system, as nothing has changed. one day it was turned off and now it won’t turn on. 
 

I don’t know the specifics of the speakers - my landlord has them installed and they are built into the wall. 
 

Any suggestions?
