Hi, after updating my Sonos Beam to S2 13.4, my old Sonos:1 Players are no longer showing up for selection on my iPhone, MacBook or iPad. Restarting the Beam, the Sonos:1 Players or my devices did not solved the problem. I have a Sonos Arc connected via HDMI to an LG OLED C1, with eARC and HDMI-CED enabled. Most things work fine, including the LG magic remote (I didn’t have to do any Universal Remote configuration, it just works) and I only had to change a couple of settings on the TV to get full surround sound working. That said, with the Arc connected I can’t see the volume level - the vertical bar that normally appears when you’re changing the TV volume level. If I disconnect the Arc, I get the vertical bar back, but with the Arc connected then all I see is a + button, a - button and a sound icon when I change the volume level. It works, but that useful piece of information is missing. I can see it on the Sonos app, if I look there, but not on the TV screen. This suggests some kind of communication failure between the Arc and the LG TV, with the actual volume level not being shared. Anybody else seen this or have an idea what might be the problem?

I have a new Arc paired with a Gen 2 Sub and two Play 3s for surrounds.  All are running on S2 and the Arc is wired. I also have 8 legacy devices running on S1 and the root zone is wired. All S1 and S2 devices have reserved static IPs.  The problem is that lately, when I open the S2 app, under “System”  it indicates “3 Issues” and a red dot.  When I click on that,  I am given no more info, and when I click on “About My System” the Arc is missing, but the Sub and the two surrounds are shown. I do not see the Arc as a connected device in my router’s admin screens and I can’t connect to it using a browser to look at the network matrix.  I CAN connect to the surrounds and it shows the Arc as having the correct IP address but the network matirx shows the Arc as being undefined.The Arc is playing TV sound so it is definitely powered up and working. The usual fix is to “Find Missing Products” or reboot etc. but that is getting old.  This was happening before the recent DTS update (from today)

I've been working with Onkyo support off and on over the past few months on the following issue and am hoping someone else with a similar issue will find this post and help me (and hopefully Onkyo) troubleshoot.I purchased the Onkyo around a year ago, setup my Port connected to an Onkyo that supports Works with SONOS (NR686) following some youtube video... Onkyo: Settings>Hardware>Works with SONOS>Connected device - choose my Port and all works great. I turn receiver off when done using, later on I start playing something on the Port zone using my Sonos app and it turns the receiver on, sets volume correctly so it can be controlled from my sonos app. Life is good.Sometime last fall it all stops working. I can't point my finger on the root cause, but my thoughts were: sonos S2 or other update, onkyo firmware, I swapped in a new POE switch... lots of variables around the same time.Now if I go to Onkyo: Settings>Hardware>Works with SONOS>Connected Device it either says "

This has happened me several times now, and it’s a real pain. I fully charge my speaker, power it off and store it away so it’s ready for the next use. I have quite a few speakers in the house, so only use the roam when outdoors so it could be several weeks before I use it again. Every time I test it before use the battery is totally drained and dead. Maybe it’s something I’m doing wrong but my gut feels like it’s a problem with the power switch. Has anyone else had this issue or found a solution?E 

When I search for an artist, Amazon music easily shows “Top Songs”. Whereas Apple Music just has every single album the artist has ever made and I have no option to listen to the top songs. This is a huge nuisance, who is going to flip through nine different albums to find one or two songs per album.  Half the time I don’t even know what album the song is from.This lack of feature prevents me from successfully using the Sonos app to listen to Apple Music (most of the time)

Hi,In my Bedroom I have two IKEA SYMFONISK Table lamps as stereo pair. One is wired to my network. The other connected via Wireless Sonos Net.I have an alarm setup, to play a Sonos playlist, which mainly has songs from my nas (itunes folder) and a few songs from Apple Music. The alarm is set to play on the bedroom speakers every weekday from 07:00 to 09:00, but also on grouped speakers (as Sonos does not allow me to add alarms to a speaker group, only to a speaker and the speakers that just happen to be grouped at that time, every morning 30 minutes before the alarm, my  Home Assistant system groups the speakers in my bedroom, guestroom (Play:3 in stereo pair), bathroom (One SL), and kitchen (play:1 stereo pair). This grouping works flawlessly, so every morning before the alarm plays, the desired speakers are grouped with my bedroom speakers).But..Since recently (hard to pinpoint), sometimes the alarm does not play at all, anywhere. Also, not the chimes backup. The chimes did used to p

Hello,Yesterday I ordered everything that I mentioned in the title. So far I owned the Symfonisk only and experienced audio-video delays while using it with my windows PC via TuneBlade app (basically AirPlay simulator). Easily fixed when using VLC, but a nightmare when using Netflix. Now I’m going through the forum and see multiple threads from the past regarding lip sync issues on LG TV’s. Were those ever resolved? Also, I’m planning on using the TV for Netflix and other on-board apps for watching movies and stuff, but on the other hand I want to plug in my PC, also for movie watching stuff that’s not available on the current streaming platforms. Am I going to face audio delay issues again?

Hi I have more and more streaming drops playing local radio program… my Internet connection is stable and wifi is strong…. Is it possible to have a closer look to debug logs on sonos devices to find out what's happen ?thanks Manuel 

Hi there! I have multiple Sonos amps in my house, one of which is connected to a TV via HDMI arc. I often play audio via Airplay 2 across the whole house, but then when someone turns on the TV in the living room it auto disconnects Airplay in the rest of the house. How can I keep the Music playing and Airplay connected in the rest of the house when someone turns on the TV? 

It's so irritating that the Roam drains so quickly in standby mode.  If you forget to switch it off (because there are no lights on in standby) and you want to use it after a few days, the battery is empty.  Now you have to keep in mind that you actually charge it every night.  It would be a huge improvement if the Roam turns itself off completely after being on standby for, say, 30 minutes.

Hi, i’m using a cd player connected to the RCA input of the Sonos Amp.Then ampli outs go to passive speakers.Then sub audio out goes to a dedicated analog amplifier + subwoofer. Due to the analog circuit the sub woofer is delayed some ms respect the passive speakers.The problem is that there is no delay option to allign Amp out and sub out.There is only the option to invert phase (0 and 180) of the sub out but it’s not  I could put a processor between cd player and sonos amp to add some delay but i don’t know if the dac is coupling “amp out” and “sub out” or they are separated. Any solutions ?Thanks

Hi friends of Sonos,can you help me please, I have a Sonos system bought about 4-5 years ago. how can I listern to bbc sounds on my play 3 ? My play3 does not show up in the listed devices. any ideas why? My tv is listed but not any Sonos speakers ?thanks for the helpRichard 

When using my sonus and selectinf all my speakers (six total) the music will stop playing in through one speaker then start again then stop.  Please help!

I have newer and older Sonos components, so in one home we use the S2 controller; in the other the S1.  With either controller, either location, different modems/routers, the controllers will not allow me to load Apple Music.  This started to be an issue months ago but other priorities were more important. At one time the controller/Apple interface was fine.  A suggestion was made to d/c Apple Music as a service and reload.  Now, when I attempt to re-add Apple Music as a service, the S1 controller simply hangs.  I get once red circle and then a white screen - no matter what I do.  I can’t even reinstall Apple Music in the controller.  I thought - I’ll go to the web and install Apple Music through the PC controller - but it refers me back to the Android.This is very frustrating.

I want to be able to use a pair of Sonos One’s with a wifi capable Blu-Ray player without actual internet access.  The application is in a motorhome with TV/HDMI connections.   I don’t have internet setup/router in the RV. Would like to use my iPhone accessing my Apple Music library via cellular or occasionally wifi via an RV park and playing it over the Sonos.  Also playing DVD’s, BR discs, and music files (Flac, ALAC, etc) stored on a USB drive.There are wifi capable players, but can they set up a local network for my purposes?  

My Sonos system needs re-setting daily and I am exhausted and about to give up and find an alternative sound system. I bought a connect in the hope that would help but it didn’t. The App struggles to find the system and constantly needs me to re-set our router which is rather inconvenient with my wife and I working from home and I would rather not have to run around my house each day fixing what I see as Sonos failings. Should I delete the App and start factory setting all 8 of the speakers?

Hi can you pair a turntable to 2 sonos 5’s ?, I know you have to wire 1 in , but will it then play on both speakers????

I’ve had a Sonos 5.1 setup working fine with the optical out from a Samsung TV for a couple of years. Replaced it with a Philips 70PUS8556 and I’m just getting what I should be from the two rear play:1sit sounds to me like it’s just a quieter reproduction of the Playbar, and weirdly when I change the Music Playback setting from Ambient to Full, even when watching TV, the rears get louder, backing up my theory I think. Any ideas? Using the same optical out cable I was using with the old telly, and the Sonos app does say Dolby Digital 5.1 - I just don’t believe it!

I realize there is endless discussion about problems with reauthorizing apple music, but my question is simply ...why? Why is this necessary? Why does it sometimes happen multiple times in a week?  BTW I use both S1 and the later systems in different locations. It happens at both.  This is not urgent, it’s just bothersome.  Thanks very much for your time,  JA

Can the Roam Portable Smart Speaker be paired with my ARC sound bar?

I simply can’t get Apple Music connected to my Sonos system. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Sonos as others have suggested. I deleted Apple Music from my account to try and re-add the service. I get the same problem every time. I select “ already have account”, it opens the Apple Music landing page to connect, I select connect, and it just hangs forever. It did this when I tried to reauthorize, and now it’s doing the same to reconnect it.  super frustrating. This is my primary listening mode with Sonos. Other suggestions to fix?

Whenever I add Spotify songs as “Play Next” they get skipped. This is 100% reproducible on all speakers for the last several months. Going back and manually selecting the skipped song in the queue will play it normally.I have submitted diagnostics no. 2032647070, captured immediately after a failed playback.I would appreciate guidance on how to resolve this. Thanks,Jakob
