two months since Apple’s iPhone 13 release and Trueplay is still not available to these devices. We all know techinical difficulty is not that hard, so the question is - are Sonos and Apple’s relationship that bad now?

I have a Sonos Connect device and two Player 1s.  I moved and had no trouble connecting the Player speakers to my new WiFi system.  I am having troubles with the Connect product.  I rebooted, I reset to factory settings, I have successfully added to the Sonos 2 app more than once. (There were no problems using this device at my former home.)The Connect is connected to a CD player as it was previously.  The system plays the CDs for about 20 minutes and then simply disconnects.  This has happened repeatedly and each time I try the steps above.  Has anyone else had this problem and how have you resolved the issue?I am using WiFi with high speed access (almost 200 mbps); Sonos 2; iPhone 12.Any advice would be appreciated.

XM plays for a few minutes then stops with message that it is not encoded right. Worked fine a month or so ago, now it happens every day.Any solution would be appreciated

Intermitantly can’t control volume and then sound cuts out altogether when using Xfinity remote. I have rebooted the router, unplugged the whole system and replugged, updated the TV, updated my Xfinity password which changed a few weeks ago. I can control the sound with the Sonos app OK, but once even that did not work. I even got a new remote from Comcast and it seemed to pair OK. All other actions using the remote work so I don’t think that it is the remote. I am out of ideas.

Hi, my partner’s just installed Sonos ARC and paired it with an OLED65C14LD. We would like to keep the autonomy of using the TV sound as and when. This, amongst other things will enable us to use headphones as far as we understand. However every time we go into the TV ‘sound out’ option and click ‘TV Speakers’ the option gets selected and lasts about 2 seconds, then the setting reverts automatically to HDMI (ARC) Device. The same happens when sellecting the ‘Wired Headphones’ option.We would like this to stop and be able to keep the TV Speakers on or Wired Headphones on for as long as we need them on. How do we achieve this?Many thanks for your support.

I intend to wall mount a 85 inch Samsung Frame TV into a large room with ceiling mounted Sonos front and rear speakers at an elevation of 11.5 feet. Obviously a clean look is what I am looking for so I would like to conceal a subwoofer if you recommend it . Any recommendations on ceiling mounted subwoofer or concealment as well as equipment and distances. TV viewing area is about 12 by 12 feet at a distance of about 10 feet from tv wall.

I currently have a Sonos Playbar set up on a living room TV. No surround speakers. The living room and kitchen are open and connected (one large rectangle) and I’d like to set up a Five at the far end of the area in the kitchen. The principal reason is for music: we’d like to be hit from both directions when sitting at our kitchen counter. But I’m wondering, can the Playbar and Five be grouped such that there will be no sound delay when watching TV? Thank you in advance!  

Hi all I'm posting here as a final hope. I have a set up of:1 x boost1 x beam4 x play:11 x play:32 x One SL1 x One1 x Sub I moved into my current house in January, moving in with most of the speakers and adding the 2 One SLs.The house isn't massive, but it is old. And has a mixture of walls between rooms that vary from a single bricks thickness to an absurdly thick 20 inches (of brick and stone. Like I said...old house!)  Due to the walls the house kills WIFI. I have cable broadband with download speeds of up to 220mbs if within a few feet of the router. However if you move to the adjoining room (beyond one of the 20 inch walls) you'll be lucky to even pick up the WiFi, not least achieve any respectable download speeds. So I've installed a netgear orbi mesh, with 3 access points in the 'dead zones'. Sonos Connect S2 devices (and I assume Port) seem to be down sampling all HD data to 44.1khz  (e.g. 24/48 khz local FLACs) through the digital out (e.g. Coaxial) to external DACs.  i.e. you cant get a HD digital signal out of your Sonos kit !!I cant see the bit-depth on my DAC, so unsure if this is also being downgraded to 16 bit (but assume 16/44.1).I assume this is the same for  streamed services also (e.g. Qobuz, Amazon HD etc.) being digitally downgraded to 16 / 44.1.Whats the point??!!!   This would be surprising in 2015 . . . . .   but 2021 !!!    I have had cheap Android STB for the last 10 years that digitally passthrough (up to 24/192, DSD files etc.).  Even services like HEOS etc. will send an untouched digital bit signal to the Receiver / DAC. Can this option please be added (I understand coax, optical are bandwidth limited - but even 24/192 Stereo should be OK).   i.e. digital pass-through, or sampling at the original source rate at least! Include it as an option please!

Hi. Sonos rocks. But I keep loosing wifi to my speaker while in my home bar. It’s not that far from the router but I can’t bring either any closer to each other. I’m fitting a mesh system to my house. Will the TP link deco M9 work ok with it. 

From last few days my sonos subwoofer makes low beeping noise every few second.I ran diagnostics and number is 670796755

i have a cd player connected to an amp and stereo speakers (non Sonos).  how can I also connect the CD so the music plays through my Sonos speakers in another room. What cable do I need if any?

Hello all...looking in to buying the Sonos turntable and just wanting to know what I would need other than my speaker setup that I already have. My current setup is Beam, Sub, 3 1’s gen. 2 , roam and travel speakers.

I’ve made no changes to my sonos system.  All speakers are working perfectly, but when my move is grouped it says it’s playing but has no sound.  The volume is on and not muted.  If I press the pause button, all the grouped speakers pause. Please help.

Hi there, I’ve got 6 SONOS devices in the house, all work perfectly at the same time or individually. However, over the last week or so I’ve noticed if I choose an album or playlist on the SONOS app via Amazon Music then almost all the speakers skip, hang, stutter or delay in playing the song. So as a 3rd line IT engineer with 21 years experience I started looking at the obvious. Router, dup IP’s, Wi-Fi interference etc and couldn't fix the issue. However I’ve discovered that if I ask Alexa to play the same album or playlist the issue never happens. It also wont happen if I use SONOS radio, TuneIn Radio or BBC Sounds etc For example, I can open the SONOS app and search for Fleetwood Mac Best Of. I find the album and press play. All the speakers start skipping and juddering, some don't play at all for 30 seconds and then start cutting in and out. If I press stop and then say “Alexa….. play Fleetwood Mac Best Of” - Alexa will find the same Album on the only streaming service I have (Amaz

Do you feel pressure from the Playbar when there are loud sounds from the movie you are watching? 

Hi. Im trying to use my Sonos Port with Denon Amp. (DENON DRA-800H) with no luck. There is no sound from input (output works). I’ve connected Port using RCA to CD 2 IN port, no sound. Then I’ve used COAX cable to connect to CD IN port, no sound as well. Im sure that Port is streaming, because when I connect it to Phono input, the sound plays as it should. Any help help? 

Microsoft upgraded me to Windows 11 with asking, and then Sonos keeps on telling me to check for updates -- I do this, it finds one, downloads and installs. Then asks me to check again, and downloads and installs…. and so on, and on. I cannot get to the music library on the PC; one the phone it no longer finds the music library, and the process of trying to connect via the phone is impossibly complicated with instructions written by someone who really doesn’t seem to like customers very much. Any ideas? I just want to listen to some music…….. 

Hi there I can’t seem to find a clear answer to this question.I have two rooms that I’d like to power with a single sonos amp.  Each room has two ceiling speakers that I'd like to replace with architectural ceiling speakers.  I realize only one audio output can be sent to all speakers, but can I ‘shut off’ individual architectural speakers, to only play the sound in one of the rooms?  I was hoping to set this up with airplay 2 and Apple Homekit to control the speakers of each room. Thanks

Sonos just updated some of my speakers making them S2 - thus separating my system - so now my system no longer works as one, I didn’t update to S2 for this reason, but the latest S1 update has done it! One would think sonos are trying to “brick” our devices AGAIN!!!
