Losing hours and patience here :-)

 

Google assistant cannot be added to my sonos app to work with Roam. Got support and they told to go online and change the country to US. I did, rebooted the whole thing, uninstalled the app and put it back up again. Nothing happen, still get the same “Not available in your country message”. Any tips before I throw it out a window or write a nasty take down piece? 

You could run a diagnostic and post the number here for the Sonos support bods.  If it were me I’d call the Sonos support number in your region, they have been very helpful for me in the past.
