Prior to upgrading windows 10 to 11 Sonos connected to music library on pc, after upgrade would not connect, removed music library connection, ensured SMB sharing modules enable, shared music library folders with “sonos wifi” all without any error, when I tried to connect to music library via desktop app I receive an error “error adding music (big red X) sonos was unable to add the music folder, reason: the computer (pc name) is not responding”. I checked to make sure sonos.exe was allowed in the firewall rules.I started a chat with support and once I explained the problem they pulled the connection, anyone have any suggestions, it would be appreciated.

Hi everyone , my TV setting for hdmi input has pcm or bitstream ,my sky+ hd is connected to my TV via HDMI , sky box is set to Dolby digital .Beam 2 plus surrounds are on hdmi arc , shall I set my TV to pcm or bitstream ? Thanks  

I replaced my 1st Roam as it kept dropping off the network and it wouldn’t respond to the App. The new one keeps dropping off the network as well. I have 6 other Sonos speakers around the house that are ‘always on’ and ready to go but I’m being told to reboot the Roam (every day). Very frustrating.  When I turn it off it says its ‘off line’ but when on it doesn’t appear on the App. Is this a design fault ? 

Does the Playbar wall mount work with the Arc?

I use S1 with a Connect on the same network where I have multiple other devices running S2. It’s always worked fine. Today the S1 app was not connecting and seemed to not even know my ID. I logged out and logged back in and then it told me to use S2. Of course the S2 does not work with the Connect so I factory reset the Connect, reinstalled the S1 app and tried to connect the Connect. No dice. Tried everything and finally had to dig it out of its location and plug it hard into the router. Got it set up but the S1 app was acting weird and would log into my account but then lose connection with the Connect. Then it would say “we found Connect” and I’d click on it but have to log into my account all over again. THEN all of my services were gone so I added them back and it said “oh we found them!” one by one. Sheesh I did all of this but it would not play. Seemed to be lost trying to find the Connect and my account. I was 90 minutes in at this point. THEN…… It told me I needed to start usi

I had my Sonos music library setup on a USB stick in my WiFi router. All has been working fine, including playing songs from that USB source and running regular updates of the music library (re-indexing). Now I'm getting this error when trying to update the music library:  Music files not available[usb location on router] is no longer available. The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path may have changed. Go to Settings > System > Music Library Setup to check the path.Even after this mesage was displayed, Sonos could play songs from the USB drive (i.e. from the existing music library) absolutely fine, so the potential issues mentioned in the message don’t apply; it was just the music library update that stopped working. To try to fix things, I deleted the music library reference from Sonos and tried to add it again. Hi,I’m trying to setup my Play5 (2ndG) after a while not using it - it worked fine the last time I used it but I have reset my wifi password etc since so I decided to start from scratch. Factory reset the Play 5 Latest version of IOS on my iPad Reset the Sonos App (v2)My attempt goes as followsThe Play 5 is flashing green Open the Sonos App, accept License conditions etc. Login the Sonos The app immediately finds the Play 5, I click ‘Add’ “Getting Play 5 ready”... Goto Accessories setup to connect “Preparing” “Gathering info about your network” Shows my the network and the accessory name “Sonos Play 5” so I hit next “Setting up accessory to join NETWORK”… “Waiting for Sonos Play 5 Black”… (Still flashing green) “An unexpected error occurred try again”Trying again results in exactly the same and this all happens in exactly the same way when using my iPhone instead of the iPad.Any ideas?Cheers

I have a Beam and a one that are 2 years old not working well with Sonos app.  Should I be using S1 or S2 app? Should I have the original Sonos app & S2 loaded or just S2? My problem is the sound fades in and out and Alexa drops off. I use it with a Sony android smart TV.

Hello! I have three Sonos One speakers which used to work just fine with Alexa, until they didn’t. After some online research I tried to add the Sonos skill but I keep on getting this error message about a geographical restriction which doesn’t make any sense because I’m in the United States where there is no restriction. I’ve already checked my Amazon and Sonos profile and the address on both is correct. 

After 3 years, here I am once again with no Sub. Tryin’ to upgrde to S2 controller, I added my devices Playbar and Sub (new way to do it, not so intuitive, but that’s it). After that I connected the sub, it took about 10/15 minutes. Palybar+Sub are in the same room but, once again, Sub doesn’t work (no sound) neither in WiFi nor in Eth. No Boost at the time (do I really need one, with S1 all was perfect).1 hour to make work everything, but...no way to do it. For about 10/15 seconds Sub has started, but in the App I saw the “?”. When in the App I finally saw the Sub...no sound from it. Modem AVM 7590 and repeater 1750, will try again and, eventually I must use the Boost.

Hi all , came downstairs this morning and found that my left surround speaker had disconnected from the beam and other surround and then my Amazon box keeps loosing connection !! I've unplugged the Sonos system and now the Amazon box works fine , that's connected via ethernet . But the left surround speaker is a pain to connect back up , it says it's connected but then doesn't appear in the system , anyone any ideas . 

Anyone else experiencing issues setting up a Playbar with Move for stereo sound operating on S2 Version 13.4 since the new iOS 15.1 update?  Did Playbar get phased out on this new update?  I hope not. 

When I am in Apple Music on my computer, I see 35 playlists. When I am in Apple Music on my Sonos app, I only see 23 of them. Why is that?

Hi SonosHow easy is it for guests who come to my house to play their own music?Is it simple? I currently bought a home theater system separately (waiting on the arc to get here still) but the rear speaker are too far (My house has an open two story living/dining/kitchen space) so added two picture frames in the middle of the two rooms to, what I hoped would, fill the space. Now I am reading Sonos wouldn’t allow more the two Sonos Ones that come with the home theater system. Is this true or could I add the Sonos Ikea frames as part of my surround sound system as I hoped?  It would be a bummer if I couldn’t. I loved how seemless Sonos has been but this is a major flaw for me and the size of space I am trying to fill.

I have Sonos set up across three different locations/ homes.I was hoping to be able to take my roam from one home to the next , and for it to be able to connected to different Sonos systems via the app via wifi that is operating other Sonos speakers I registered the roam at one house & have now moved to the next , however I can only use this roam in Bluetooth mode , the new system will not locate this device ! how do I connect it to the currents home wifi ?

We live very remote and our home broadband will never get much higher than the existing 2mbps! Has anyone got info whether 4G mobile broadband is a viable alternative as I have heard that Sonos does not marry too well with such an internet source??

Very annoying but one of my surround speakers on my Arc system is skipping and going out of sync and back and it is getting worse. I submitted a diagnostic file: 924179937

When returning to my holliday home my Sonos app wants me to log in with somebody elses account.I removed the app and reinstalled, no result.Help

Hej.jeg bøvler med YouSee musik i Sonos app på min iphone xs. Sker næsten hele tiden at jeg ikke kan afspille musik, og får denne besked som kan ses på billedet . Og virker først igen når både app er geninstalleret og iphone genstartet.Alt et opdateret, app er geninstalleret, YouSee kontaktet og har forsøgt genstart af systemet. Når jeg oplever problemet kan jeg heller ikke søge på opdateringer til Sonos system i app, men får en fejlkode  1102.Det er det samme på min kones iphone 12 pro. Og vi kører med hver vores konto til YouSee.Det virker på min Ipad uden problemer.    

hi, does anybody connect Sonos AMP + Bowers & Wilkins 705 Signature how about the sound?? I have Onkyo A-933 amp and with combination of B&W705. Now considering to change A-933 to AMP . Still A-933 is working well, I wonder if I should buy Sonos Port or Amp. I have an interesting to connect TV out and B&W for watching movie or else. So, I am thinking Amp is better than Port, but I wonder if the sound quality of combination of B&W and AMP.  Of course, sound quality is subjective matter,,,but I would like to know if someone had this experience.

Just installed win 11. I can access music on another machine but when trying to add folder from my computer  I get sonos unable to add folder to music folder computer not responding. Network is set to private Defender is letting sonos through. is this a win 11 problem
