My sonos playbase stopped connecting via airplay. I tried resetting and setup fails at the step where the Playbase is added to a room, when setting up over wifi. On ethernet it sets up properly. Now it only works on ethernet and not wifi.

Hi all , I have Beam gen 2 2x One SL surround speakers Everything is connected and works as it should , all LEDs on top are white , but if I toggle off the surrounds they flash green !! If I toggle them back on they go solid white as before . According to this page https://support.sonos.com/s/article/226?language=en_USWhen they flash green they're ready to be set up ?? But if I toggle them back on in the app they work as before ! I can get my head around them flashing green which means they need setting up when they work , they are in the app in the list of devices  

As the topic says, I'll try to connect these speakers on the sonos amp, is there any trouble? Or i need an a impedance selector for the amp detect the speakers in parallel to 4 ohms? Help pls

Hi all, I recently upgraded to both a new TV, along with my recently purchased sonos arc and sub gen 3 I have had for a few months.My TV is a Philips 65PUS7556/12 65 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV. It said it has atmos sound along with E-arc hence my decision to buy it. I currently have a SkyQ box connected with premium Netflix plan. I use this for Netflix.The main question I have is, does my current setup enable me to have dolby atmos. Is it absolutely essential to have rear speakers added to my current setup for atmos to be enabled, and will this in turn show up on my sonos app? Can the arc and sub gen 3 give a true atmos experience just by itself? Kind regards. 

Moved into new house with pre existing speakers. They were already setup prior to moving in and were connected to the previous internet system which got switched out. How do I set them up now that I have a new network. 

I’m looking into a Blu-ray player to play Truehd Dolby via my Sony tv to Sonos arc.  I have the Sonos arc already connected to an EARC HDMI port. Question is for TrueHD do I need a 2nd EARC to connect the Blu-ray player to, I don’t want to downscale at all and play lossless atmos.   I hear that for trueHD LOSSLESS you need EARC as more data is passing so surely  I need EARC for Blu-ray to send the audio through to the TV and another to carry the audio to the Sonos Arc?Doddsy. 

I’ve never had Sonos equipment, but am looking to simplify my setup and am very interested. What I’m looking at doing is getting a new TV and get rid of my huge TV stand that houses a standard 5.1 receiver setup. I’d like to instead wall mount the TV and a sound bar and get rid of the equipment that takes up floor space. What I’m planning is:65” LG C1 OLED TV wall mounted Sonos Arc soundbar wall mounted Sonos Amp connected to my outdoor speakers (Klipsh AW-650’s) Probably not important for this question, but a small cabinet or wall mounted shelf to house my internet modem, router, and Sonos Amp. My questions are:What would the recommended wiring/connections be for this setup? I’ve gathered that I’ll use the HDMI 2.1 connection between the TV and soundbar, but it’s unclear to me how the rest should be connected (although I’m hoping they’re just all connected wirelessly through my home network).  What is my interface for controlling my outdoor speakers? Can I play the same music coming f

So just set up new Beam Gen 2. Connected to Panasonic TV via ARC HDMI. Please tell me there's a way to switch back to TV speakers ! I don't need to use the Beam all the time as the TV speakers are very good. Can't find a way on the app, or with the hardware. Super frustrating. Am hoping I'm just being an idiot.

How do I play other apps on my iPhone through my Sonos sound bar?

I noticed this morning the battery was low on the Roam (amber status light), so placed it on the Sonos charging base. Just noticed the base itself has a flashing red light on front. Does anyone know what this means please?

Just changed my laptop to a Macbook Pro 16¨ - IOS 12.0.1, but in App store I can't find you app to control my devises from you ?

I realise something odd.All Sonos devices mentioned here are in the same network n with latest firmware.Issue1 -When I m in the bedroom asking Alexa something via beam, Sonos roam dun lower music volume. It's continues to play as usual.Issue 2 -When I m listening to my music in the living room. Where playbase is grouped with a Sonos one, I asked alexa something via Sonos one, playbase music also didn't lower down.Anyone experienced similar scenarios? 🤔

I have bought a Sonos Amp and a Port to augment my system of 2 Sonos 5s, a Playbar and several Ones and Ikea speakers. I'm on Sonos net and have historically always suffered from interference. It's a big help being able to use the Support info to check signal strength etcHowever the Amp and the Port are showing no info or colours etc on the report. I understand this may be a change in policy from Sonos - is that the case?And if so……. why do it?

I have an older Samsung TV 55” that has an HDMI-ARC port, no eARC.  I plug the Sonos-Arc into this port and when I go to the app and use set-up it’s telling me that there is an error.  Currently have the speaker set up with the Digital Audio Adapter into the TV and it is working fine.  I really wanted to use the HDMI-ARC port of the TV though.  

Hi I wish to purchase two surround One speakers. However one will be in advance of the other.  I intend to buy a One and a One SL.  Can I mix then with the Arc & can I use one to any effect with the Arc before I get the second one? Thanks in advance - Mike

Hello,Just bought a wireless charger for the Sonos Roam and it isn't long enough to reach the plug socket in the place I wish to put it. Is it possible to use an adaptor? Or will this impair the function? If it is possible are there any recommended ones or will the basic type they sell on Amazon suffice? Thanks in advance  Matthew 

For a while now it seems my Playbar is processing remote control commands twice.Whenever I try and control the volume through one of my remotes (TV. FreeSat, FireTV) the command is actioned but the white light on the Playbar flashes twice. For volume up/down it means the changes are twice what they should be, but it also means I cannot mute the Playbar.  Pressing the mute button it mutes and then immediately un-mutes!The same happens no matter which remote I use.  I have tried the ‘Remote Control Setup’ within the app but it makes no difference.Any ideas anyone?

Hello, I know there is multiple reports about the same kind of issue but i can’t find any solution working.I cannot play any playlist from Apple Music on my Sonos One. Even the small ones, be it in Shuffle or Normal. I always get the 1002 error code. The problem exists from any Sonos app (Android, iOS, macOS).Also i have an alarm set for morning using an Apple Music playlist. It works approximately 50% of the times. This is my first Sonos system and that + to the impossibility since MONTHES to connect to Apple Music service from Android app, this is VERY VERY disappointing!

Is there a conmand yet which means you can say  “Alexa, transfer bedroom Sonos to kitchen” or something like that it would be great to be able to push one stream of music around the house without having all speakers playing

Hi, all. i recently purchased a Beam Gen 2 to pair with my AppleTV 4k and Sony TV. While a show is playing or while I am listening to music, I get a loud pop noise and the TV turns off. Very annoying and problematic. Any suggestions? Thanks, Paul

Our main viewing space has an Arc sound bar, Sonos Sub, and two One SLs as rear channels.I also have an extra pair of Sony SS-F6000 floorstanding 4-way speakers, and a SVS SB-2000 Pro 550 Watt subwoofer.Will a Sonos Amp allow me to sensibly integrate those items into the existing setup?Thanks for any advice! So, exactly who the hell was it that thought it was a good idea that the volume bars in the app now have numbers? It's taking me twice as long to get the volume right…and of course I simply cannot have anything like 22 or 36, because they aren’t divisible by 5 are they. 🤬  

Hi there, is it a known problem with the iTunes, that you can't add a service currently? I have deleted and reinstalled a few times, but it gets so far then just stops. Worked perfectly previously. Cheers 

I have my Beam Gen 2 connected via ARC HDMI.  The TV remote is set up and controls the Beam but it does not control the other 3 speakers that are in the group. Is there a fix for this?
