Hi Guys

 

i just bought the Rega Planar 2. I would like to know if I need a Preamp to be between/connect the turntable and the Sonos Port

or

should I rather get the Sonos Amp to connect the turntable and speakers?
 

Whats the best setup for the turntable?

You’ll need a phono preamp, however you choose to connect to Sonos. If the turntable doesn’t have one built in then you’ll want to get a separate unit.

You will need the preamp as said; and whether Port or Amp will depend on whether you an amp already, wired to third party speakers. Or, you could just get a Sonos 5 - one unit or two to work as a stereo pair.
