My play 5 needs returning for a replacement, got a email saying I would receive a label within 1 day… it’s been 6 now. After numerous emails I still an yet to get a response.. what has happened to the customer service? The technical guys are awesome but Sonos are being seriously let down by the returns!!

Hello,I have a very bad ADSL line, no fiber, and therefore my internet is max 8MbI want to move to the High Fidelity music with Deezer (FLAC music), but my wifi won't be strong enough to do this on my Sonos system. Could a solution be to play the FLAC music using the Deezer app and transferring to Sonos via Airplay?Will my wifi still be needed or just my phone data (I have unlimited data)? Would this enables me to listen to FLAC despite my very slow wifi network? 

Hi - really hoping to get some help with setting up a Port as I’ve hit a brick wall…I have an existing ‘Home Theatre’ setup that includes an Arc and 2 x One SL’s acting as rears - more than happy with this as sound quality is great and the wife can cope with the small footprint!A few months ago I decided to finally pursue a long held passion for vinyl so following some research purchased a Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB and a Port - expensive option but I don’t really have the space for a Five and thought the Port would keep things tidy.I had assumed that I would be able to configure the Port to play the audio from the turntable (through the same two One SL’s) but for the life of me I cannot, despite many attempts and lots of internet research, workout how to connect the One SL’s to the Port. I’ve been able to get the Port setup okay and it appears under Products in the app but I cannot see any option to associate it with the One SL’s.Am I missing something obvious here or have I made an expensi

I have 5 Sonos rooms and have these grouped in various ways both in the Sonos app and Alexa. I’m having issues where I’ve asked Alexa to play on a particular group then either immediately after or sometime later ask Alexa to play on a single room within that group, where it then plays on that whole group againAs an example:I ask Alexa: “Play music in the kitchen”, music will play on the Play:1 in the kitchen as expected.I then ask her to stop playing in the kitchen and a few hours later ask Alexa: “Play music downstairs”. It play music on the devices in the Kitchen, Living Room and Dining Room as expected.I again ask her to stop playing Downstairs. A few hours later, I ask Alexa “Play music in the Dining Room” and it then plays music in the Living Room and Kitchen as well as the Dining Room (but not the devices I have upstairs), i.e. on the Downstairs group. If I ask her to play in a room that isn’t in that group, it is fine, so if I ask to play in the Bedroom, it only plays in the Bed

Hi all, I can’t seem to connect to Sonos oneSL or Gen3 to my arc. They connect to each other and they work fine.Have tried reboot/factory resetting all products and have tried to use the arc as a wired connection but nothing seems to work. After trying to connect the surrounds or sub, the app forgets it and I’m not able to find them again without factory resetting them! Can’t access the router as it is part of the building network, which I wonder could be the issue although everything was on channel one when I checked. Have tried advice on other threads but nothing seems to work :(Diagnostic report is 876153472Any help would be much appreciated! BwHk

Greetings, I’m able to control the volume with hardware buttons on my Android device ONLY when I’m in the Sonos app or the Spotify app. I have no control over volume when outside the apps or from the lock screen. This Sonos support page (pic below) looks to be related, but the information might need updating. Within my own ‘App Preferences,’ there’s no option for ‘Hardware Volume Control.’ All the options that I do have inside ‘App Preferences” are currently switched ‘on.’ Any idea how I might fix this? M  

Big problem! The speakers (2) ONE SL have been working for years. For about 6 months ago, Spotify stopped working. “Could not add songs to playlist”. (Webradio and my own library still worked)No network changes have been made. I have blamed the Sonos software (also many users on Google Play). The customer service said no. They have tried to get me through all my network settings. All is ok. I have been in contact with them several times. No Luck. Now, all of a sudden, an update were found on the speakers. Tried to update - failed.Then tried by wire on the right speaker - worked. Tried wired on the left. Nothing. The Sonos app told me that I could not have both wired and wifi at the same time. That issue did not come up on the right one. Then it wanted to connect via bluetooth. Got contact. Nothing. After several tries and no update worked, I reseted it. Now it stops at led blinking white/orange. Never turns green. Restart gets it to start its Sonos wifi. The app connects to it. Now it

Now, Sonos has teamed up with Amazon to provide the proclaimed highest quality music for streaming. I am wondering do I need to subscribe to it to experience it, or I can just retain my YouTube subscription, which comes with YouTube music, to have the same experience.

I have a gen 1 beam connected to a 2015 vizio D50-D1 and Apple Tv 4k gen 1.My question is this ; the TV has 1 Arc port, 2 other standard HDMI ports, and an optical port. When connecting the beam to the arc port or the optical port i get dolby digital 5.1. Is their a benefit to using the arc over the optical in this scenario? With only 3 HDMI ports i am low on spaces for devices (xbox , switch etc). I will keep it on the arc if there is any benefit over optical in this scenario. Hi, my set up is the Panasonic UB820.... Hooked up to a Panasonic GZ950 OLED using an Audioquest Cinamnon 2.0 18gbps cable via the Arc port, NO eARC unfortunately on this 3 yr old TV. No surround speakers.Having the same problem as I've read on other threads whereby iv updated the Beam2 thinking thatl solve many of my 4K films DTS issues but no joy!Spent months building my collection unaware of this BIG ATMOS v DTS audio format rivalry/compatibility until I got the Beam 2 recently to complete my devices set up.PLEASE PLEASE can someone help me to get rid of the awful "Stereo PCM" on my S2 App. I'm at a loss and do not want to buy the Arcana Fury to solve everything!  I think it's my TV or UB820 settings as I had to teak the TV to get the ATMOS audio some of my films are in and WOW what a difference it makes in s small room approx 3 X 3 metres. Many thanks Kam!

I’m streaming music through a Sonos Amp, wired to two JBL floor standing speakers and paired with a Sonos Move.  The Move plays in the same room alongside the standing speakers.  The Move is a nice ‘sound filler’ for the big speakers and can then be moved to another location such as outside, when required. When streaming music the floor speakers and Move are perfectly  synchronised but when my Samsung TV is the source of input (via HDMI ARC, TV to Amp) the floor speakers and Move are slightly non synchronised, creating an ‘echo’ effect, or an exaggerated spatially separated sound.  The Move appears to be fractionally delayed behind the floor speakers. The TV sound quality is poor unless I turn off the Move and take it out of the equation. How to explain and correct the de-synchronised audio when TV is the source?

I have a Sonos set up at home and wanted to add a Sonos 5 speaker to my office (actual office, not “work from home COVID office that is also at my house”).I brought in a Sonos 5 speaker and went through the normal set up process.  The app detects the speaker, allows it to connect to my phone, allows it to connect to the wireless network at my office and says it has been added, but whenever I’m at the office, the “Account”, “System” and “Services and Voice” tabs are all greyed out.  No matter how many times I restart the speaker, this is still the case. I was wondering if it was an issue to have 2 separate systems set up on different wireless networks, so I created a separate Sonos account with a different email address to have that account as my “standalone” office Sonos, but ran into the exact same issue.  Any thoughts?

Been tweaking my system. I grouped my sons speakers and am able to cast from my phone or laptop to all 4 of my speakers if I pick airplay through Spotify with on my phone or through my laptop. If I go to YouTube in my iPhone I can cast to the same group and it works. My issue is I would like to cast from using YouTube.com or music.YouTube.com to my grouping but all that shows up is my tv when I press the casting button . Confused as to why it works on Spotify but not YouTube from my laptop. I did add the YouTube music service in under the sonos app but It’s not syncing up with my playlists

Today I upgraded from Sonos Connect to the new Sonos Port. I only unplugged the cables form Connect and plugged into Port (Audio In = TV, Audio Out = Bose sound system). With the connect it worked perfect, but my Bose plays no sound on the Port. Audio in (Line-in) from TV works because it plays on my Sonos Five. Only audio out does not work. Sonos customer support was not useful at all. Does anybody has an idea what the issue might be?

My CONNECT (Gen 1) had been working fine for many years. About a month ago I moved it to a different part of the house and connected it to a different receiver. It worked fine up until yesterday when the volume, though on maximum on both the receiver and the SONOS S1 app, was very very low.  A little more than a whisper. All other inputs on the receiver are working fine. I even tried to connect my SONOS Connect to different inputs but still the same problem. I am at loss as I have had this unit for 6+ years without a hitch. Volume limit is OFF in the app. The problem happens whether the Line-Out level is Variable, FIxed or Pass-Through. Problem also exists though many services like Spotify, Apple Music, SONOS Radio Any suggestions? 

Now that I have my full music collection (Stored on my Sonology) available to my Roam, I am wondering for music that I have stored locally, but also know is on Amazon in at least HD Quality, what will sound better? Will local mp3 files sound better? and if so what is the minimum bit rate for that)Does the answer chance if my local file is Flac format?  ThanksAllen

Hi There, new Sonos user here. I’m all set up and it’s working fine. I’ve set up the remote as per instructions. But the remote is also turning up the volume through the TV speakers at the same time as it adjusts the Beam, and I’m getting that awful out of synch sound. I thought the HDMI (ARC) would recognise an external device connected and not use the TV speakers. Any suggestions? 

I’ve just switched from Alexa to Google Assistant on my Sonos devices. Previously I could for example “stop bedroom music” spoken to any Sonos device, and it would stop the music currently playing on the device ‘Bedroom’ With GA, it only controls the music on the device I speak to, regardless of me specifically stating Bedroom. Am I missing something?  I assume GA can do this?!

Hello, I’m quite new and don’t know much about speakers and matching impedances and whatnot.Just purchased a Sonos amp, 2 Kefs Ci200qs, and plan to buy a pair of 8ohms outdoor speakers as well.My idea/question is as follow:Can I connect the 4 speakers to 4 speaker wall plate, and, using banana plugs from the wire that comes from the AMP disconnect the pair I do not want to use at the time? I wouldn’t change the wiring on the back of the Amp, that would stay in parallel, but just disconnect from the wall plate when I just want 1 single pair to play? Would that work? When 1 pair disconnected will the impedance go back to 8ohms?Thank you for the help!

I currenly have a Sonos Move and I'm thinking of getting more speakers. My question is, if I buy 2x Sonos One Gen 2, which also have mics and Alexa, which one of them will activate if i use the voice commands? 

How do I get rid of these things? There is no “remove account” like other services. 

HiHow on earth do I manage to get through to someone at sonos to make a formal complaint? I have had a problem  with a new sonos roam for around two months, as every avenue I have tried to explore to tell sonos the speaker is not working I can’t make any progress????I have been a customer of sonos for many years but am appalled by the lack of support. It pains me to have to explain the problem again and again, I have had telephone calls, emails and spoke via web chat explaining the problem but every avenue has come to a dead end. I was even told to send a video of the problem and that still resulted in someone contacting me from sonos with the question what Is wrong with the speaker?!!!. And the Emil that I was responding to now says it is no longer monitored!!! Again I can’t get anywhere! The problem is as simple as this. I have charged it for days (yes with the correct cable and plug) and after that it simply will not turn on. I just want to return the speaker!I am outraged with the
