I have a Sonos Amp connected to a turntable. Sonos One in kitchen. Primary purpose of getting the system was for the ability to listen to records in both spaces. The nice thing is, busy cooking and record ends, quick voice command to go to Spotify playlist.However, I can't seem to find a voice command to change it back to the line in for source when I want to go back to play a record. Is the only way to change via the app? HUGE flaw in the system if so and should be a developer priority. Quick search shows topics looking for this for over four years.  May even consider returning and building a traditional multiroom system instead.

Hi, all. Just hooked up my Audio Technica LP120 turntable to my Port via Line In. Throws the music to my Sonos One nicely. Sounds great. I have the Port’s analog line out RL going into a Sony A/V receiver which is the same line that the turntable was originally using before I set up the Port. I’m not happy now with how the turntable music sounds through the A/V receiver via the Port compared to when the turntable was connected directly to the receiver. Very bass-heavy and less clear. I realize it’s probably now a balancing act between the loudness-bass-treble settings of the Port combined with those same available settings on the reciever. Anyone have optimal settings suggestions for the analog line out of the Port to an A/V receiver? Thanks.

Hi,I have the following components:Sonos Arc and Sub (Gen 3) Latest LG TV with all the bells and whistles Latest Marantz Integrated amp with all the bells and whistles Two front full range speakers (non-powered) Two rear surround speakers (non-powered)I would like to use the above to listen/watch from various sources connected to the integrated amp while using the Sonos Arc and Sub in a 5.1 arrangement (Sonos Arc as the center channel).What is the best way to set this up? Should I connect eArc from the amp to Arc while driving the other speakers with the amp? Would that do the trick? Do I need to buy other Sonos devices? 

So at work we have a pair of ones and a subwoofer and recently we added at home a pair of 5’s and another sub. Both are on different networks. Will my phone recognize and be able to control both systems on the Sonos app?I apologize if this has been asked way too many times already.

I just got a new Samsung television and decided to replace my old playbase with a new beam 2. My system includes two play ones for surrounds and a sub.  The Beam is connected via Ethernet, others wireless. Beam is connected to TV with eARC. Sound from Beam is fine and app shows Dolby Atmos input from Netflix. Steady white lights on surrounds and Sub but no sound out of them. App on my iPhone shows system correctly (Beam + 2 surrounds and Sub). Removing and reconnecting satellites with app asks me if I want to move one satellite from “Den2” to “Den” and the other from “Den3” to “Den” (I only have one den and the app only shows one room called den). I say yes to moving them but I get an error message about trouble connecting but app then shows satellites connected anyway. Same if I remove and re-add the Sub.  Not sure if I need to factory reset the satellites and Sub and start anew or what.  Thanks

Hello !I'm new to the Sonos world and plan to build a system based on Sonos Arc with Ikea symfonisk bookshelf (1) + frame (1) as rear speakers for design/price reason.I can't exactly know if that would be possible to use those 2 different symfonisk speakers as rear.I found some forum thread mentioning it won't (because they're 2 different models) and some others were it should be ok according to the official guide here, bookshelf and frame are part of the same symfonisk product line ("related models can be used together"): https://support.sonos.com/s/article/4807?language=en_US Is there anyone already with a similar setup who can help me figure out what is really possible ? Hi! I've recently got an Ikea Symfonisk Bookshelf because of the great design and quality hoping to use it along with my google chromecast and assistant in order to form a streaming group with each one of them in different rooms. However, I can't find any way to sync the products since Sonos doesn't have the voice services available in my country. The thing is that I'm only really interested in using all three devices for streaming music together so I'm looking for a way to be able to add the Sonos Symfonisk in my Google Home app only as an additional speaker, I don't need the voice service at all. Does anyone know any solution? I'm unfortunately considering returning the Symfonisk unless I can find a way to solve this problem. 

Hey guys  Super excited to get arc for Xmas. Setting it up and had issues with it not being recognised etc etc. Googling sorted this and managed to get it set up.  When working through the menus etc I came across this, I think we’ve been sold a return, what do you think? It cabs from a well known high street store.    

None of my Sonos products work with the Alexa command. The reply is “sorry i'm having trouble please try in a little while”I have restarted the router and my Sonos devices but no joyCan anyone help?

Many employers put restrictions on your phone as part of device management.  Many (like mine) require a code to use airplay on a device which is fine for TV’s or other devices that have a screen (code typically pops up that you can enter on your phone).  Sonos now has airplay capabilities, but no screen or passcode thus a problem.  A suggestion would be to add a pop up on a computer from sonos.com when trying to connect to an airplay sonos device for the first time.  Would solve the problem.  Or a standard passcode like 12345 that would work for any sonos.

I currently have an arc, sub gen 3 and two 1 SL’s setup for home theater in my family room, Sonos 1 in adjacent kitchen, Beam gen 2 in  master bedroom, boost and Move in kids playroom and a Five in the garage. I will be setting up my pool house and outdoor sound this spring. I have already purchased sonos Amp, sonos sonance outdoor pair for under pool house eaves, a second gen 3 sub for inside the pool house, and a Sonos 1 for inside the pool house for the convenience of voice control for wife and guests. My question is this, Will I be able to group the sonance pair and amp with the Sonos 1 and sub as one “Room” OR will the amp, and sonance be one “room” and the Sonos 1 and sub be a seperate “room”? Reason I am asking is I have found google assistant voice control to be finicky when selecting “rooms” to cast to. S2 in app experience is straight forward and easy to use, but I am more concerned with voice control and “Hey Google”. Thanks for any input!

Hello everyone, I am interested in purchasing a Beam (Gen 2). My TV has ARC support through HDMI. I utilize my laptop as my entertainment center. I am currently using a low quality Bluetooth soundbar that provides sound for my laptop. I own a PlayStation 4 and of course, I cannot connect, so I am utilizing TV speakers for that sound. I would like to have my PlayStation 4, TV and Laptop utilize the Sonos Beam (Gen 2). My laptop does have HDMI, but does not have a SPDIF port, I have no problem investing in a USB type device that will provide me one. My issue is that I do not know how to make sure I will receive audio through my laptop onto the Sonos. I am ready to purchase the speaker, but I am at a loss for establishing the laptop connection, which is used by me daily. 

Why so complicated - your customers just want to listen to their music on their speakers.

Hej, merry xmas!As all topics with the same question are closed i’ll go on and start a new one. writing this from Europe (Sweden), and on Sonos Sweden they are currently selling a refurbished gen 2 Sub for around 600€.  2 questions that are left unanswered1: the difference between gen 2 and 3 are only internal components like RAM? No difference in sound?2: with a refurbished product you don’t have to be afraid in terms of quality? Pretty big price difference between a new gen 3 which goes for 800€,. Should you invest in the gen 2 refurbished, which you can upgrade in the future with a gen 3 if you want, or go for the gen 3 instead? 

Hi,I’ve 2 Sonos One (one SL), one in my kitchen and the other one in my bedroom. I also have a Playbar in my living room. I have a WiFi repeaters in the middle of my appartement in order to have wifi all around the place. My problem is that the Sonos One in my kitchen is not working while used as is own. It only works when paired with another sonos device. How can I fix that ? Thanks for your time !

Hi, my Beam device can reproduce audio signal but not video with AIrplay from my Apple devices. The router is update as well as the SONOS application, as well as Apple products. I have this problem since this summer. The bar is properly connected to the TV as you see the typical white SONOS screen saver.Can you help me?Grazie Federico

While the Sonos 5 device does show up as an available device, I always get the message “Could not connect to [Sonos Device Name]” when I attempt to use AirPlay to stream audio from my iMac (both via System Preferences and the Music app).  Strangely, my iPad and iPhone do not seem to have the problem when connected on the same WiFi network.I run Monterey (latest version) on my iMac and, yes, already did the following:reset the Sonos speaker rebooted the router (TP-Link AX6000) restarted the computer (multiple times)I want to add additional Sonos speakers, but this is a little bit a showstopper.  Thanks in advance for any help.

Do any existing Sonos products support the 802.15.4 protocol also used by Zigbee compatible products?If that were true then Sonos through a firmware update could make those products compatible with the Matter project leveraging Thread.

Hi all, hope someone can answer a question , I'm watching channel 5 , and the app is showing as DD 5.1 but all talking comes out of the surround speakers too , if I put on sky movies then the talking comes from the beam and not the surround speakers , I thought talking wouldn't come from the surrounds using DD 5.1 but it does on channel 5 ....

This product is garbage.  Unreliable.  I give up and have thrown it in to the trash.

I have a Sonos Arc connected to an LG CX TV and the two devices aren’t working well together when eARC is enabled.  After much, much research into the topic online it appears to be an issue with the Sonos Arc and newer Samsung TV’s too.  It appears the implementation of eARC by Sonos and the higher end TV manufacturers attempting to implement eARC is not going so well.  I would encourage Sonos to work with LG and Samsung to get this figured out as consumers are spending a lot of money on this high-end equipment and deserve a better experience.

I, up until very recently have had virtually no issues with the arc, sub Gen 3, and dual One SL's. My television is a Samsung MU6500 curved 4K 65" TV. For the past week or 2 it just suddenly stopped working and I have been very disappointed not being able to enjoy my theater system. I have done everything to restarting speakers, reconnecting HDMI's, factory resets and resetting up speaker assignments... the only thing is, the system keeps asking for "set your Samsung TV to "arc" mode" but there is no arc mode in the settings. Never had that prompt before... never had that issue before, it was working previously to this. How do we fix this issue?

Hi - I play music through my SONOS system via a PLEX media server that sits on a Synology NAS. I have a SONOS PORT, a PLAYBAR,  a PLAY3, and a BOOST. The BOOST is connected directly to my router via an ethernet cable. My problem is that Sonos is constantly disconnecting from PLEX which results in the music dropping out or songs on playlists being skipped over entirely . Even though I already have the BOOST connected directly to my router , if I were to also connect the PORT directly to my router would that eliminate these drop outs? Thanks for any help! 

I realize this has has been addressed in another post, but the solution there didn't help, so reposting.  First some background:1. Been using Sonos since 2008. What attracted me (despite their high price) was their robustness2. In 2021, while my fellow Sonos users were complaining about Sonos' new products not being backwards compatible to their older products, I replaced all my Sonos S1 products with new S2 products (again because Sonos products are reliable, robust and always just work) Now my issue:1.  Since my upgrade on 2021, my Arc/Sub and Port have been working flawlessly fir months. However in the last few weeks, my Arc/Sub intermittently disappear from the app.  My Port *never* disappears from the app. What is specific about the Arc that isn't applicable to the Port?2.  I've tried factory resets to the Arc, reinstalling the app and going through the entire setup process and everything works fine for like 30min or an hour. Then the Arc disappears again3. My Arc is connected via
