Hi,My setup is as follows:1 x Sonos One in “Bathroom”1 x Sonos One in “Bedroom”1 x Sonos One in “Nursery Room”1 x Sonos One in the “Office”1 x Sonos ARC, Sonos SUB (3rd Gen) and 2 x Sonos SL in the “Living Room”, where I have my TV, which also has an Apple TV 4K (2nd Gen) plugged in to it. All rooms have Philips Hue lights as well. The name of the rooms are set up as stated in the quotation marks. Up until now, I have used Google Assistant to send voice commands and it has been working OK, with the exception of not being able to control my Apple TV with it, obviously. I just got a HomePod Mini as a present, which I have placed in the Living Room, same place and want to be able to use it as a voice command interface, to for example, “Hey Siri, play music in Living Room” or “Hey Siri, play music in Bathroom”. Hello, i have issues with Sonos One SL and wi-fi: the speaker disconnecting after 5,10,15 min, no matter. Wired it works fine. After disconnecting i must reboot speaker or just connect it to internet cable. I try change wi-fi channel on sonos app, change channels on router config - no luck. I think, that Sonos lost wi-fi connection, when around is others networks. My friend have same issues with two speakers. After he move to village, where is no others network around - problem gone. Bonjour,actuellement en possession d'une barre de son gen 2.Je souhaiterais optimiser mon système d'écoute en ajoutant une paire d'enceintes pour un son surround. j'ai lu plusieurs forums sans trouver de réponse à ma situation.Voici ma situation : ma barre de son est dans mon salon qui fait 40m2. la barre de son (Gen 2) se situe contre un mur en plein centre et à environ 2m50-3m se situe mon canapé d'où je regarde la télé. mon projet serait d'installer les enceintes surround dans les coins supérieurs du mur (les enceintes seront espacées d'environ 6m et à une hauteur inférieur à 3m) qui est en face de la télé. Le mur en question se situe à environ 5-7m de mon canapé. est-ce que cette configuration est possible ? et est-ce que j'aurais un bon rendu surround ?Merci d'avance !

I consistently get this error whenever I try to change any audio source or change roomsI can change volume for the existing selections onlyI have 5 amps and if I power cycle all the amps I am able to make changesBut only one selection will work after the reboot and then its back to the same problemI have Sonos OS S1 

I have a system with two Sonos Play:1 units and one Sonos Connect:Amp.Today i cannot play any music services on one of the play:1 units, but it works on the other units,I used to have a sonos playbar installed too, but it was disconnected a month ago, and I would not think that this has anything to do with this issue because it worked until today.I have made a power cycle on all three units and it makes no difference.I can access the play unit from a web browse and have taken a screen copy of the matrix on the unit with problems (badeværelse) and from one of the other units, so why will it  no longer stream anything on this single unit ? 

In the Android app, when I try to add my existing Apple Music subscription.I hit the :“I’m already a member” buttonAnd then I get 1 second of spinner. But then I get a white screen forever: Forever whiteAnd AFAIS I can only add Apple Music via the Sonos app on the phone. I have no iOS device. I own a mac and Android devices.I’d have plenty of Linux devices.. But I guess those are anyway not being supported by Sonos (which is kinda sucks to be honest).So

Due to my current home set up i use both goggle and Alexa voice assistance.my question isCan I set these speakers up as rears and activate one speaker with Google and the other with Alexa or can you only have one voice assistant in the whole setup therefore meaning I could buy a one and a one SL and use these instead

Recently got a new Apple MacBook Pro. I seem to have lost been able to update my music library with Apple Music. Now I get the message “ //MacBook-Pro/Music is no longer available. I just purchased a Sonos arc and I have to watch youtubetv at over 50 volume and the. Can only watch YouTube at 20 or less for the same level sound. I have a Vizio p75 tv and have it hooked up with the provided HDMI cable. 

I converted a vinyl album to an MP3 file and added it to my music library on my MacBook Pro. It plays on my MacBook, but when I try to play it on Sonos it won't play.  I have updated my music library, and the album appears in Sonos, but won't play. When I try to play it I get a short blip (like the scratch at the beginning of putting a need on the vinyl)  and then an error message. What should I do?

I recently got  a new place and would like to set up with Sonos eco system. I want to make sure if I get the followingLiving room (TV) - ARC, Sub Gen 3, One (total 4 - 2 front and 2 back)Bedroom (TV) - Beam, One (2 total) Office (Computer) - One (two total) 3 other bedrooms(future) additional OnesWill I be able to control them individually by room with two TVs and office computer playing at the same time?   Can multiple users take care playing music by the room? Just like first question but via Spotify and not TV Do I need anything else to make sure I can do all the above items but need additional Sonos devices possibly?And I am assuming it is possible to  play by one user with all sonos devices.   

My set up is the following: turntable connected to Sonos Port via line in; Port connected to preamp phono line in; preamp connected to stereo amplifier. Hearing a hissing and static noise while music is playing via line-in on S2 app. Volume level is fine. The sound quality is fine coming from the turntable through the preamp to the amplifier when  the Sonos port is disconnected. Please help.

I’m trying to connect my Sub to an Arc and it’s not working. Been through other threads and troubleshooting steps (rebooting router, factory resets, connect via Ethernet, etc) without success. Summited a diagnostic (845368739) hoping to get some assistance.  As some background the sub was connected and working for a week with a new Arc. (It had been working for a year prior with a playbar.)  At some point last week sound stopped coming from the sub, which led to the attempts to get it working again with the arc. Wi-Fi is enabled on the sub and arc and they’re 4ft apart when I try to connect.  please let me know any additional info needed. 

I have a LG HU70LA projector with one HDMI port and a second HDMI eARC port. I have just bought a Sonos AMP and would like to connect my projector’s audio to the AMP (and connected speakers) while also having my Roku Ultra connected to the projector for the video / audio source stream.Could I used the standard HDMI port to connect my Roku Ultra to the projector and use the second HDMI eARC port to connect the projector to the Sonos AMP for sound? Would this send a Dolby Atmos signal to the Sonos AMP? Both the Roku Ultra and my projector support Dolby Atmos.Interested to hear everybody’s thoughts!

So I have 3 areas Sonos1, Sonos2, Sonos3 and have grouped the 3 areas into Sonos Everywhere. I have 3 services I use (Pandora, XM, Spotify) I have been able to control everything through Alexa (Alexa play Pandora on Sonos3) and everything worked fine for the last couple years. Now when i tell Alexa to play Pandora on Sonos3 she says “music group name” is playing on Pandora (or any other music service) on Sonos3 (or either of the other 2 areas) and nothing plays. If I say to play on Sonos Everywhere it plays fine. 

Hello … I own six Play 1 speakers and recently purchased a Beam 2. I decided it would be a good time to update to S2 since the Play 1’s are compatible, and I wanted to move a speaker from the living/TV room since I now had the Beam. The update itself on all Play 1’s and controller apps on both Windows and my mobile devices (all IOS) appeared to be without issue, however, since I use Plex for most of my new music due to the memory max issue, I didn’t realize that Sonos can no longer see/play music from my main library on my laptop (Windows). I went into my native Sonos playlists and while it would load the song list, it will not play the songs and eventually throws a 1002 error. I can play anything on my Network/NAS drive that is in Plex, but nothing from my Sonos main library. As a test, I created a new folder on my local hard drive and added some music and then added that folder to Sonos and it plays without issue.At this point, my thought is that something happened in the update proc

Whenever Sonos updates my personnal library from the Music app on my iMac, Sonos creates a iTunes folder with a «iTunes Music Library.xml» file.  What it is useful to ?

My ‘Sonos 1’ app has stopped accessing my Synology DiskStation music folder after the recent DSM 7.0 update. It seems many others have had the same problems and one way around this is to enable NTLMv1 authentication in: ‘Files Services - SMB - Advanced Settings - Others’ on my Synology NAS. The only problem with doing that is that it increases significantly the risk of external attacks! Can someone please tell me how I can avoid this critical issue, or if there will be a fix in the near future from Sonos on the Sonos1 app?  I cannot use the Sonos 2 app because I have several units in the house which are not compatible. Thanks in advance

Hi so I am wanting to set up smart speakers throughout the house for music and additionally add a turntable to the system. I would also like to get a sound bar for the tv. I would like to know if this concept will work. I was looking to get the beam and turntable set. I would set the beam to the tv and put the turntable in one room. I would use the five speaker (that comes with turntable set) in another room. Will the sound bar be able to connect to the turntable? Will I be able to play records to both rooms? Will the tv be able to play in both rooms? Thanks

Hi all i wonder if anyone could help, my knowledge isn’t great regards this stuff to be honest so I’ll try my best to explain the problem.it started (well I say it started when I done this but it’s more like when we noticed it so I don’t think it would of made any difference) I recently changed my Netgear Nighthawk router for a TP-Link Deco X20 mesh WiFi to help improve WiFi everywhere but it’s been a headache since I done this but I’m getting there with it. So I’ve had to reconnect all the sonos stuff we have to either S1 or S2 (a pain in itself) my lounge was connected via a Beam (Ethernet) plus Sub and 2 X surrounds (Play 1s) but since I reconnected the lounge it wouldn’t connect to the beam via Ethernet (very strange) so I connected them all via WiFi. Anyways most of the channels/programs sound correct how ever we have come across a program called (Zoe’s Extraordinary Play list) (not my thing I should add LOL) anyways when this is on the main sound comes from the Left surround soun

Can I connect the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable to the Beam Gen 2?

My Roam has been been essentially a paperweight since day 1. Out of the 4 months I’ve had it I’ve gotten about 3 hours of consistent play out of it. It doesn’t respond to anything. It will play for 30 seconds and then stop playing although the Sonos app or streaming service still show its playing. It doesn’t react to any buttons you press. It doesn’t power on or off consistently. It’s utterly frustrating. I spent an hour-plus with Support and they essentially told me it’s my router although none of this is related to that and my Play:1s work fine. I sent a billion logs and am told I can’t get a refurbished one since some lights light up so it’s not dead. I’d be fine just sending it back to Sonos for the sake of science. Donating my Roam for future good as it’s worthless to me and just causes frustration. Glad I used an upgrade discount for this….ugh. Essentially the same things this forum member said:
