Hi all, basically what the title says,If I look for a song using the main search function and select it either on the Artist or the Title tab, if I select More, there is the option to create a “Station”, which would play the song and similar ones but in a very limited fashion (no scrubbing, no going back to the previous song, not being able to see the playlist)However, if I search for a playlist of my own created in Apple Music, and pick a song from inside there, when I select More, there is no such option, I wonder why that is, what makes it differentThanks! 

Maybe I’m wrong here, but seems year ago the Sonos API had a “Speak Text and Resume” option, so back then in my SmartThings days, I could have Sonos speak a TTS alert and then it’d continue playing music where it left off. I’m now on Hubitat, but I believe this feature has gone away altogether. Am I wrong about that?Is there any way to get Sonos to resume playing a song after it’s interrupted by a TTS request?

Afternoon all.Bought a Roam on pre order ages back. It arrived in good time, was installed and worked a treat. A week later I lost it! Long story. Yesterday it turned up …. another long story.It no longer shows in my S2 app or environment. So I thought, lets add it again. But no joy.Just to add, I bought a Sonos wireless charger base for it, charged it and that seems be working well.But I cannot get it to show the green light. If I remember well, if I get to that point, the app should see it?I can get it to flash blue. I can get it to show white light. But I’m missing something in re-adding it to my environment.Appreciate any advice or procedure or link that can get me up and listening again.Many thanks in advance

Sonos and audio noob here. Just starting out with a Beam in the living (tv + music) and a One in the bedroom. My wife wants to keep the cd collection + a player, so I'm looking at Connect-ing the player.However, our current mini audioset has only headphone output, so now I'm wondering whether that's enough as input for the Connect (with an adapter cable), or whether I should look into getting a new cd player. And if so, what specs for the output connection? Dual tulip connectors?(Yes, I expect the cd player to have a limited lifespan after I introduce her to the joys of the Sonos controller--I've already ripped the entire cd collection to our music library. But for now, this is the path I'm on.)PS: Checking the Sonos site, they don't seem to advertise the Connect any longer. It's still for sale elsewhere though. Would that even be compatible with the new Beam/One I have?

Good afternoon,I have a new Sonos Move that I have assigned to a stereo pair of an existing unit.  I am finding that the right hand unit keeps on dropping out.At the moment, I have music coming out of the left speaker, but not the right.  If I change the balance to the right speaker, I get silence.  I’ve just submitted a diagnostic, number 2131499804.If I unpair the stereo pair, both speakers work.  If I then repair, it works, but then it drops out again after a while.Yesterday, I chatted with with a support agent online.  They said that one speaker was on channel 34, the other was on channel 42 and as such it didn’t work.  They asked me to unpair and repair (which fixed it).  I went through “I’ve already done that - it will just happen again”.  They suggested changing the sonosnet channel from 11 to 1.  Quite why changing the 2.4GHz channel would affect speakers running on 5GHz, I don’t know.  But, the agent assured me that would fix the problem.Unsurprisingly, I’ve just pressed play

When playing music after a while my surrounds are out of sync with the front speakers (playbase). I have searched the topic & this was an issue a while ago that was supposedly resolved. Is this an issue that has popped up again?The surround speakers (play 1) are wirelessly connected. Would connecting wired Ethernet fix things?

I only use Pandora as my music streamer, and I can use it when making requests in the Sonos app on my phone, but when I try the “Okay Google” verbal request, it acknowledges my question, but tells me that “It looks like you have to log in again to this media provider.” I’m logged in everywhere I can find. So I’m not sure where it’s wanting me to log in again.

Just back from iKEA to buy a bookshelf speaker for my garage, but they had run ouf of the black I wanted.When I asked when the speakers would be back in stock I was told that a new bookshelf and lamp are due for delivery in January or February 2022.I can find leaked details about the lamps design change, which I think looks good. However, I can find no details at all about the changes to the bookshelf speaker.Does anyone have any info on the new speaker?

I have some limitations on how I can run cables to my TV. I can connect a Sonos AMP, but not a Sonos ARC due to space limitations. Is it possible to connect a Sonos AMP to a TV via HDMI ARC, and then stream TV audio from the Sonos AMP to the Sonos ARC?

I am having some drop out issue with songs that are on the SYNOLOGY NAS with DSM 7.xSYNOLOGY DS1821+ NAS with latest DSM 7.0 version.SONOS S2 System (Wired and Wireless)Three SONOS components grouped (AMP - Wired, Five - Wired and One - Wireless)All wired SONOS components are connected to various TP-LINK Managed Switches and have the proper STP / RSTP configurations. The wife selects a song (FLAC Format) that is stored on the SYNOLOGY DS1821+ NASSONOS makes a SMB3 connection to the NAS however the connection is coming from a SONOS Port that is not part of the group. In the SYNOLOGY connection log, it shows this connection numerous times and then it will show the IP address of the SONOS Amp that was part of the group and then go back to the SONOS Port. The timing appears to coincide with the music dropping.Questions:Why would the initial connection be made through the SONOS Port? Why would multiple connections be open to the SYNOLOGY NAS by the SONOS Port?

Hello to All,I am new to this Forum and would appreciate an expert input!  ;-)My Sonos sub bass is sounding In & out of Sync; as if the “bass” is delayed; few songs sound good but then the sub goes out of sync. So it is an intermittent issue. PS: this sub is wired to the home network as it is far away from the Sonos Amp. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Haven’t even bought into SONOS but am SO close to doing so. One bit of information I have been unable to find concerns how power is managed. I’m specifically looking at the SONOS 5 (maybe the Move) to use as a system in my den, as a stereo pair. Once setup is it “always on”? That is, when I want to use it will I just select it in my device (any Apple device using AirPlay) and then play? Or are there power switches?

How long is the mounting bracket for the ARC?   Trying to figure total length and where the screws would be.  I have a cabinet that the TV is in.  The old “hole for your TV” idea.   Problem is the hole is not long enough to just put the ARC on it.   And the shelves sit in from the concrete hole.  Would you suggest putting the bracket on the shelf below it and just pulling that shelf out a bit?  I’m not sure how else to do it. 

what's the differences in functionality between s1 and s2 app?90% of my Sonos equipment works with S2 app but my 1st purchased AMP won't which is disappointing 

I am setting up a Sony XBR65A8G, signal source is Apple TV 4K and using ARC from the TV to the Sonos ARC. The Sonos app reports only stereo PCM. I have tried fiddling with the Sony TV settings, to no avail. Any ideas? someone familiar with XBR65A8G?

Can I connect my older Bose speakers to my Sonos Beam sound bar?

Hi recently bought a Beam gen 2 and LG C1. I’ve read other articles on the forum explaining the best settings for Dolby Atmos. However if I set ‘Digital Sound Output’ to “Pass Through” the sound is quiet. If I set this to “Auto” the Beam is much louder and my app still says it’s outputting Dolby Atmos. My question is am I getting a lesser version of Atmos by having Auto selected? also out of general curiosity why is the sound quieter with Pass Through selected? earc support is selected and Beam is plugged into HDMI port 2 on the C1

I have just subscribed Amazon Music Unlimited and tried playing some UltraHD music on my system. The newer Sonos Amp played them just fine and there was the UltraHD badge. But my Connect:Amp only played the same album at HD. If I tried grouping the Amp and the Connect:Amp, then the badge changed from UltraHD to HD.However, according to this link, the Connect:Amp gen 2 does support UltraHD playback. I think my Connect:Amp is gen 2 because it runs the S2 app, and the manufacture date at its bottom is 1608.Any explanation or clarification is much appreciated.

Hello! I have an Arc (+LS+RS) set up in my living room and have just purchased a One to go in my bedroom.  I can’t seem to get it so I can listen to one thing in the Bedroom and something else in the Living Room as well as have the ability to listen to the same thing on both.  Every time I try and listen to the same thing in both rooms it only plays in one room. 

I have always liked to use my soundbars when watching something worth the special sounds, but like to use the tv speakers when watching the mundane everyday stuff. It kind of makes watching films etc feel more special that way, however since hooking up the beam to a hdmi arc, I cannot tell my Sony tv to use tv speakers only because when I do it automatically goes back to the beam even when I turn off the auto switch features etc. Does anybody see a way around this? I can only assume that I may have to use optical, but if I get an Atmos tv soon then that would not allow Atmos would it? 

We bought a new Samsung QN75Q8BA 2021 with eArc and no matter what content we try playing, we cannot get Atmos to display as the audio type on the Sonos app.  I also notice the pass through option under the tv settings is typically grayed out.  All other átmos options are enabled in the tv settings.  what am I doing wrong ?  it took a while to realize thatA. YouTube doesn’t steam in Atmos which renders all the Dolby atmos tests on there useless. All while folks in the comments are clueless of the fact. B. Netflix only streams Atmos with Premium subscription.  I am streaming my content from Amazon Prime and Disney + via native tv app.   if there is a better way to sample atmos like a website where you can specially test the upward firing speakers, please do let me know.

I love to listen to KSHE 95 Real Rock Radio out of St. Louis. I can get the station through the Tune In music service on Sonos. The problem is that KSHE 95 has an awesome 24 hour show called KSHE Klassics that is only available through their website at KSHE.com. I’d love to play this programming on my home Sonos system but can’t find a way to access it. Does Sonos have a music service link that allows you to access different sites on the web?

This is an odd one.  I have listened to WXPN (U of Penn, Philadelphia) on Sonos for years.  Last week it stopped working on Sonos.  I am running S1with a variety of legacy and new gear.  When I start WXPN through TuneIn on a zone, the stream immediately flips from PLAYING back to STOPPED - every time I click PLAY it immediately flips to STOP Other stations work fine through TuneIn - WXPN is the only one with an issue (that I have found) Even sister stream XPN2 still plays on Sonos through TuneIn I went to a friend and saw the same behavior (also running S1) WXPN plays perfectly through the TuneIn iPhone app (not is Sonos)I spent an hour on the phone with Sonos support (before our connection dropped)Running diagnostics (even run while trying to start WXPN repeatedly) the rep saw nothing odd that indicated an issue We tested WXPN through (Sonos) TuneIn, Sonos Radio and (Sonos Radio.Net) - all had the same behavior - clicking PLAY immediately flipped to STOP; all other radio stations thro
