Sonos’ target audience is people who want multi-room audio or to better their TV sound.
I presume the ‘triangular thing’ you refer to is the Roam?
I use my Roam as a computer speaker daily. Bluetooth. Works great.
It just needs a quick swap of the PC sound card for one that has audio optical output. I think Soundblaster make a couple of PCIe cards, aswell as quite a few other manufacturers.
Simply cable that to any Sonos HT device. The Sonos Beam is quite popular for this type of setup, although personally speaking I would perhaps prefer something a little smaller on my own single screen computer desk.
I didn’t take this as a serious complaint. Seems to be complaining about Roam, profile says only owns a sub, and I have no idea what the path to substantial means.
