I have 2 TVs side-by-side in my media room.  Currently they are both connected to an AV receiver on separate inputs. When I want to change which TV is feeding sound into the room’s speakers, I have a single button on my remote which simply selects the next favorited receiver input, which effectively toggles between the 2 sources.  (Note: this is useful when one TV goes to commercial so I want to temporarily hear the audio from the other TV) I am thinking about upgrading to a full Sonos setup for the room’s audio and would like some advice for how to best achieve the same convenient audio source toggling.  I understand that I’ll be able to use the app to select any source to play in any room.  But is there a way to achieve a toggle like effect with a remote or smart home device?  If I have to use the app, how fast or easy will the transition be? Here is my current thinking for the hardware setup.TV #1 connected to an Arc soundbar via HDMI-arc.  The ARC will be joined to a sub (gen3) and

Hi. I have paired my Samsung tv with sobos roam and when I play any video, the roam makes “hiccups”. I have tried to remove any physical interference and even place the roam 1 inc in front of the tv but it does not resolve the problem. Any ideas ?

Hi, my Move will not group with Beam. The two products had been successfully grouped for more than a month.Move will group with Connect and Play1. Beam will also group with Connect/Play.Move was the latest addition to the system. Have reset and re-added.Both move and beam on Wifi, the same network connection for the whole system.any suggestions appreciated, thanks 

I have just purchased the Beam Gen 2. It will be a stand alone with no surrounds. I don’t have Atmos capability as yet, but I would like to know if I am better using Dolby Digital Plus, or Stereo pcm? I ask this because I am not sure if the speaker would lose some of the audio that Dolby Digital plus sends with it being a 5.1 standard, and the speaker only having 3 channels? Left, Centre and right? 

HelloI’m thinking of upgrading my playbar to an Arc. I currently have two Play:1 speakers as a surround pair. Will these work with Arc in Dolby Atmos  or do I need to upgrade those as well to One SL or Ones?

When listening music via Bluetooth from my Roam, there is about half a second pause roughly every 7 minutes. It is quite annoying. Anyone else facing the same kind of issue or knows if there is a way to fix it?My combo, what I am using is Roam + Samsung S7 phone + Spotify.The issue comes only when connecting via Bluetooth. The same phone + Spotify + any other playback device works just ok. I have no troubles to connect via Bluetooth and connection is stable.

Hi all, I've just replaced my TV and the Playbase won't recognise the Hisense remote. The old (Samsung) remote worked fine though.In the connect app, I enter the remote setup, but it won't recognise the remote at the first step (vol+).I've tried all the obvious things, moving closer, new batteries, even removed the clear sticker from the IR lens (it's brand new remember)... Remote works fine with the TV too - no surprises there.Any suggestion?

Hi.I was told by a retailer that if I mix a One Gen 1 and One Gen 2, surround sound from Beam Gen 2 wouldn't work correctly, and they would output the same sound. Is this correct, as I have read it works fine? Thanks

I’m interested in adding a Sonos Roam to my system and am hoping to get some feedback on cold weather performance.  I do a lot of hiking and backcountry skiing and temperatures are frequently below freezing.  How does the Roam perform in cold weather?  Are there any third party cases that help keep the unit warm?I’m currently using an old JBL Clip3, but it’s very temperamental in cold weather.  It works great for two hours or so, then completely dies and won’t take a charge until it warms back up.  What can I expect from the Roam?

Hi all,I currently have a SONOS ARC and Sub (Gen 3) for my TV, with ARC connected via HDMI to TV, and Sub wireless to ARC. I am buying a SONOS AMP to hook up two in-celing speaker as the surround sound. The issue I have is that, the AMP will be placed in the basement, so there is fair bit of concrete and dirt between the ARC and AMP. As a result, the wireless connection may not work.My question is that, can I connect AMP via Ethernet cable to my POE switch? In this case, do I also need to connect my ARC via Ethernet cable to the same POE switch?  What about the Sub, can it be left as wireless connection?I have read through a couple of threads, some said that wireless is the only way, others said this would work. Hi guys,Hoping one of you can help me with an issue I have just ran into.. I currently have a Sonos Arc and two Sonos One SL’s for surround sound. All was working perfectly until one of the SL’s was accidentally unplugged and now my Sonos App can’t find either SL. I have tried everything from switching off and on (as Sonos troubleshoot says) to factory reset of them both. The factory reset works and I am able to add them back to my products, however, as soon as I attempt to set them up as a surround system, they drop connection again and won’t reconnect.I have gone through the above about 8 times now which is incredibly infruriating so any help would br extremely appreciated!

Hello all, I have 2 Sonos systems in 2 different locations. I only use Google Voice service. I'm really disappointed when I switch from one to my other system (House).Sonos recognize the other system where I'm connected to. But I cannot set up Google Voice with Sonos app config.I'm always obliged to enter into Google Voice app and then make  recognized the new system, and at the end I come back to Sonos to setup the link Sonos for each of my product to Google Voice.It's really f...g process!!!! How do you manage that? Why is n it automatic???Thanks?

Will I be able to adjust the amps tone controls (bass, treble and Loudness) when my source is Spotify using AirPlay 2 on an Apple TV or iPhone?

Hi All. I have two Five paired stereos. I have been using one for a long time and decided to buy another one. This is where the problem begins. The newer Five has an audible difference in sound from the older one, there is hardly any bass, compared to the older one. The EQ and Trueplay settings do not change anything. Is it normal? Maybe the newer speaker needs time to start playing like the older one? The difference is really audible. P.S. I used the translator for this post. I dont speak English very well:)

Our Sonos One has been decreasing it's volume on its own and I cannot locate where it is being turned down from..I submitted a diagnostic like I saw suggested in similar topics. The number is 1936062066 Cheers

Hi folks, I am trying (and failing) to get my system to recognize my Sonos Boost. The Boost is not a new device. It has been used by this network before. I have been running my Sonos system on my regular Wi-Fi router network, but I want to go back to using my Boost. My system:Four Sonos OnesSonos BeamSonos SubSonos Boost My wireless router is an Arris. It has two distinct bands, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.  Which Sonos devices do you already have? Four Sonos Ones, a Beam, Sub and Boost Is one of them cabled to your router? Not when I am running in standard mode, but yes (Boost only) when the Boost is providing the network. What is the make and model of your router? Arris TG1682 Do you use any WiFi Extenders? No (unless you count the Boost as one) Which controller device are you trying to do this from (where is the app installed)? On my iPhone. Hi, I have a Sonos Arc the for some reason is not playing Atmos. I have a Nvidia shield pro connected to a HD fury Arcana and that is connected to the arc and to the TV. I have a pro account on Netflix but in the sonos app it shows Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 and in Netflix the Atmos logo appear. What I'm doing wrong? 

Hello, finally dived into the Sonos ecosystem and just bought the Sonos Arc SL after much deliberation and was pumped to finally set it up but ahhhhh can't seem to get any content to play with Atmos. I've spent the last 2 hours reading various threads here but still can't reach a resolution, so am hoping to get some direct help 🙂 I have an Apple TV 4k and a 2018 Samsung UN75NU8000 TV without eARC.  I understand this relegates me to Dolby Digital + Atmos, but I don't ever see Atmos in the Sonos app even with confirmed Atmos content - only shows "Dolby Digital 5.1."  Or does DD+ Atmos show as such?  Pretty sure I read somewhere that it should still show Atmos.  I have Netflix Premium with 4k, HBO Max, and Amazon Prime and have tested them all.  I also tried them via the native apps on the Samsung TV.  For example, I tried Matrix Resurrections (showing Atmos logo) on both and it only shows Dolby Digital 5.1 in the Sonos App.  Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?  I heard about the

Just got a new Sonos Beam 2 Gen and I’m disappointed, first for the known issue with Alexa and other Sonos products grouping, but especially because Dolby Atmos doesn’t work.I did some tests with my Samsung Smart TV model QE65Q70TAT connected via HDMI eARC port, using Netflix Premium account with movies like 6 Underground (Dolby Atmos) with the following expert setting on TV: HDMI-eARC Mode ONDigital Output Audio Format AUTODolby Atmos Compatibiity ONOn this way, I only got Dolby Plus 5.1. looking on S2 app. What I have to do fix this problem?Thanks in advance

Happy New Year :)As per title, Amazon music (Family) has started over the last week to skip on every track after 5-30seconds.  This happens on all Play:One speakers.  Other services don’t seem to be effected - currently listening to my library via iBroadcast with zero issues.Diagnostics from this morning: 1975614706All looks fine on the network which is Netgear Orbi based with three statellites - i’m using Sonos with that network as it’s solid with good coverage on all speakers.Help appreciated as the Amazon situation is really annoying.  Tracks play fine from the amazon app
