Been listening to a streaming station KPIG (Santa Cruz) for a year, without incident. Now Sonos will not connect to it, from desktop, iPhone or iPad. Will connect to local Public Radio station. Music library works fine. Deleted station and re-added it, multiple time. No problem at the station. My business tech guy is coming next week because I am so fed up, but would love to solve this on my own, and without an added expense. Anyone??

I have a Beam 2, couple of Symfonisks, linked to  u65g - 2021 model with eARCUsing Apple TV 4K and the Google O/S on the TV itself my Sonos App says ‘Atmos’ where appropriate BUT the TV does not. That’s pretty condusing. Am I or aren’t I?I have Hi speed HDMI’s, sound is set to ‘pass through’ on the TV and the Apple TV is set to match frame rate, Atmos enabled etc.I think I’m getting Atmos and the above settings are definitely the best for day to day - but can someone tell me why I don’t get a confirmation from the TV? Also - sometimes when ‘turning on’ it is impossible to control the volume bar mute or what it was the night before. I have to perform several ‘on/offs’ before it works??Thanks in advance 

Is there a way to have SL Ones startup when I turn on my Samsung TV and Beam Gen 2? Or do I have to physically turn on the SL One each time I turn on my TV/Beam?

Like many others, my playbar stopped playing sound from my TV.  I tried many things like everyone else to rule out TV and optical cable.  Also, TV sound settings are set to PCM and sound set to optical.Unfortunately, the power cable for the playbar is running behind a wall, so i am unable to try using the playbar with a different TV, at least not easily.Is the optical port on the playbar known to go bad?  Or, is that unlikely and I need to troubleshoot some more?

I have the Arc, two Ones for surround and the Sub Gen 3 hooked up to eARC on my Toshiba E9 OLED (surrounds and sub are wireless).Arc is mounted below the tv.  Ones are behind the sectional.  The sub is against the wall to the right of the ARC.  The TV is in the corner. The app sees all the speakers.  When I turn the sub off in the app the bass sounds noticeably louder.  I’m concerned that the Sub has not connected correctly.

Hello!  I’m hoping someone on the forums here can help me determine if what I’m experiencing with my new sub is within the parameters of being normal or if I have an issue that I need to escalate to Sonos support. I got my sub on 2/12/2022 and immediately noticed a very low/faint hum and when I was down next to it tucking some desk wires into my tray, I heard a light tick, tick, tick, tick noise.  I have provided a video where I stick my phone right up to the hole and you can clearly hear both the hum and the tick.  Here are the specifics about the environment and t-shooting steps I’ve taken: -- Sub is paired with two play:1’s in a stereo pair in my office.  Will be generally used in conjunction with a Port and a CD player with occasional streaming via Amazon/Spotify/Pandora but mostly CDs via Port. -- Windows app and iOS app being used to control (mostly Windows app in office)-- I get the same thing if I carry the sub downstairs and pair it with my new Five in the living room or leave

Really annoying that Apple Music doesn’t show up as one of the options to choose when being asked to choose music service in google Assistent. Only YouTube Music and Spotify are to be chosen. I don’t use neither of those. When is this going to be adjusted? I’m very disappointed that Sonos have these shortcomings. 

I am running on S1 system 11.3 version.I am being invited to update automatically which I usually do, but I like to know the nature of any updates before updating so as to avoid any reduction of services either hardware or software.Sonos never offer details of updates.How can I find full details of updates before accepting the update.

I am running Plex server (with a Plex pass) on my NAS, and the connection usually works fine. I am able to browse to my Plex and play music successfully from there. If I search for music, it will find hits in Plex, but if I then attempt to go to there, I get "unable to browse music". I've tried restarting everything I can, I've re-authenticated, and it's been doing this for a couple months.

Bought a SONOS one today to replace my broken echo. Set it up to work with Alexa, along with my other devices around the home. I have a play bar in the lounge and a Amazon echo in the kitchen. My new SONOS one is in my bedroom. I noticed almost straight away that it will play the wrong song, but by the correct artist, if I interrupt a currently playing song to ask for a new one… see below… For example, if I say “Alexa, play Waterloo by Abba” it will play the correct song…. But if I then say (during the song), “Alexa, play Beat It by Michael Jackson”, it will say “Now playing beat it by Michael Jackson” but will play a completely different song by Michael Jackson. The only fix, is if I say “Alexa, STOP”… and then ask it to play the new song. My echo device before did not do this. Any ideas?! I’m using Spotify as my preferred music provider. Thanks

Morning,  So…..about a week ago my internet died, had to restart my udm pro a few times to get things working again. Whole network is Ubiquity.  Since then the sonos speakers that have been working for years started playing up. Oddly 3 of them work (wirelessly) but then the wired one of the system which you’d expect to work refuses to play at all, unless it’s grouped to the others. Every few minutes the audio cuts out.  I’m streaming using various apps built into the Hisense TV.  Seems to happen consistently no matter the app.  Connected via HDMI using the eArc port on the TV.  I ran the submit diagnostics thing.  Confirmation number 1907441099 but the last audio drop was probably 20 mins ago.  I can do again closer to the drop if needed.  Hopefully can get some help.  Thanks. 

Have a 3 car garage and converted the single into a home gym. I’ve got 4 One SL’s hooked up and a Gen 3 sub on top of the water heater in the opposite corner. Can anyone tell me why I’m only hearing that true deep bass in certain areas of the garage and not all over? It’s really disappointing to be honest, but hopefully there’s a solution? thank you very much in advance for any advice.

Hi.I have a Sonus Arc soundbar and Sonus Sub (Gen 3) and I was wondering if buying SL surround speakers would be worth it?In general, I find that most TV channels seem to be broadcast in stereo in either Dolby Digital 2.0 or Stereo PCM.What actually happens to the sound from a stereo broadcast regarding the surround speakers?Does the sound just get directed to the surround speakers anyway (even though it's not Dolby Digital 5.1) or are the surround speakers disabled and only in use with DD 5.1 sources?I would imagine that when playing music the surrounds are just used as additional speakers?I am new to the concept of surround sound so I would appreciate some advice!Cheers 🍻   

Hi everyone.  Here is my setup: LG C1 (just bought!)Sonos Playbar (getting the Arc later this month)Sony UBP-X700 I tried out a few discs and noticed that I cannot get many of them to play surround sound.  Instead it outputs as PCM. I have changed all of the settings on the player and the TV without any luck.  I am able to get Dolby Digital. I did a fair number of searches and found that this is a known challenge with this configuration. My questions: Will I have better luck with the Arc arrives and I switch to eARC?  Will it be able to handle more of the DTS tracks that many of my discs have? If not, what would be a recommended player to get instead?  I can still return this one. If there isn’t a solution for getting surround sound, are there any ways to at least get faux surround sound?  Will fake surround sound improve with the Arc compared to the Playbar?Thank you! Charles

Can you use 1x sonos one and 1x sonos one sl as your rear surrounds with an Arc?

Hello, I just got a Sonos beam gen 2, but after connecting it to the hdmi arc input on the tv and setting the sound bar up with the app, I cannot get Dolby atmos to work.. when I go into advanced audio settings on the LG G1 Dolby atmos and greyed out and I can’t select it? 

Hi,anybody knows if I can pair ARC with two ONE (no ONE SL) to create a surround set up?Additionally: if I setup two ONE (or two ONE SL) to work with ARC, will I be able to continue to use them as direct output devices for, e.g., spotify or Apple Music or do I need to reconfigure them every time? I mean: once linked to ARC are the ONE still available for streaming from my phone? thanks a lot, nice regards

Hi all, I am currently looking at sonos as a solution for my audio sound, just want to make sure it can do what I want it to do before I purchase. Forgive me if this is naïve question. Can I have my turntable (with built in amp) connected to 2 Five’s, so I can listen in stereo in one room and then have a third speaker (possible another Five) in another room and have the music from the turntable play at the same time? So in stereo in one room and from one speaker in another room? Thanks!

Hi all - browsed really old versions of similar threads but none of the options work for me - I have a 2021 LG 55” OLED TV - I follow all the instructions but obviously cannot push the “power” button on my magic remote to configure it as it switches off the TV - hitting the volume buttons brings up the mute sign but the volume does not change. I do have different menu options to what are described here but more or less I can get to choosing optical blue tooth sound bar and then philips (I do not have sonos as a choice). Anyone else that has struggled have a magical answer?

I upgraded two Series 5 speakers, that were both suitable for Sonos App 2.0. Thinking I now have 4 speakers that can all work on the new operating system. However, the two older series 5 speakers cannot be added to the same network anymore? Tried factory resets (after which they are visible to the app, but warning appears: 'they may not show up in your system, just unplug and plug back in', but never actually show up in my system. Sonos upgrade program states you can continue to use the upgraded speakers, but can they be used in the same network as the new speakers? I have not be able to add them to the system… What am I doing wrong?

Hi,i want to setup:2 speakers in dining room2 speakers in living room 1 2 speakers in living room 22 speakers in kitchen 2 outdoor speakers.  How many amps do I need? can I play the same music on all the speakers even if there are multiple amps? if 2 speakers from living room 1 and 2 speakers from living room 2 are connected to the same amp, can I have 2 different zones? So I could play the same music in both living rooms AND play the same music in living room 1 and turn the speakers in living room 2 off - is that makes sense?thanks
