Hello all! I current installed an Epson TW7000 projector (https://www.epson.co.uk/products/projectors/home-cinema/eh-tw7000#specifications) and purchased a Beam soundbar for the audio. To the projector I've got connected through HDMI a Playstation and the TV cable box.Because I've learned the hard way there is no Bluetooth built in the Beam, I'm at a loss as to how to connect the Projector to it. The Beam should be placed above the projector screen and so wires would be a bit messy.I need your help please as to how I can connect the Beam via Bluetooth to the projector... Or if that's not an option and the sound quality will be horrible, what other ways are there to make the connection work? Thanks!! 

My Sonos is working perfectly with other speakers, but one speaker is not working. It is plugged in and shows when pressing the on off button flashes red. In the system itself it shows I have all speakers working and also it shows music sound is going to that speak.

Hi there Sonos experts !I have a simple, but annoying, difficulty that I’m hoping someone has already overcome or reached a dead end with.I regularly group a number of our Sonos speakers together so we don’t get the phasing issues with them when moving from one room to another (kitchen, dining room, study). I have always used the Sonos app to group/degroup  them (& have enabled the Sonos skill in the Alexa app so I can speak to ‘her’ to play music, raise/lower volume and short circuit the syntax to do so), but I’m curious as to whether I can also use specific syntax to also group/degroup the speakers from one another if I want to play different music/content in different rooms, rather than having to use the Sonos app on my phone/iPad to do so ?If the answer is ‘you can’t (yet)’ that’s fair enough, but I didn’t want to not use the feature through ignorance. Cheers,Mike

Samsung TV (2019 series8) connected to Sonos ARC via HDMI arc.  The Netflix native app on TV shows ATMOS tag but it’s only Dolby digital plus 5.1 on Sonos app.  When using Prime (again native app on TV) shows Atmos on Sonos app.What am I missing?Changed HDMI cable.Tried already reinstall Netflix app on TV, logout/ login in, used friends account etc no change.Reinstalled, updated Sonos app from Apple store to latest version.  Removed and added arc, again no change. It’s still shows ATMOS on Netflix app on TV and 5.1 on Sonos app. It’s really frustrating, can someone help? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Is a Beam (x1) + One SL (x2) capable of true surround sound? Hello, I have the aforementioned Sonos equipment, and am not sure I am able to get true surround sound (speaker isolation). I have a Samsung TV (probably around 2015 model), and have my Beam wired with the HDMI to Optical to the TV set. My sound output on the TV indicates that it is outputting DTS Neo 2.5 (there is no way I am able to highlight the DD option, it is greyed out all of the time). I have setup the system in the Sonos app correctly, and have the surround pair setup so all 3 speakers are connected and working. I am using a surround test file on the Pirates of the Caribbean DVD. My Sonos app indicates it is receiving DD 5.1; however, when running the test and the test indicates that the only speaker that should be playing is a rear, sound is somewhat quiet from that speaker and still coming out of the front. So I just got the Roam yesterday for the primary use of connecting it to my projector via Bluetooth and then ‘sharing’ the sound with my existing pair of One SL. But the Roam doesn’t ‘share’ the sound to the SL, whether on WiFi or BT even though both sets of speakers have been grouped together.When on WiFi and using my Andriod Sonos App, if a song is first played on the Roam, it won’t play on the SL when it is added to the group. If the song is first played on the SL, it will play on the Roam when added to the group. (No issues with creating the group for both instances, but no sound on the SL in the first instance)When the Roam is connected via BT to my phone/projector, the sound won’t play on the SL when they are added to group. (clicking on the Group icon on the phone app shows both sets have been grouped and playing). I am trying to find a music system which will work in my little flat. I’ve been using Logitech Boom speakers but connecting them is clunky via the app and also unreliable; also I want to be able to play the radio without connecting my device.This is what I want to do:play my own music (not streamed music) from my phone or tablet listen to the radio (BBC) listen to BBC Sounds listen to podcasts (via Google or Spotify or suchlike)I’d like to do all the above in multiple rooms. I’m always scuttling from one to the next so would like the same sound playing on different speakers in different rooms. I’ve got a few Alexa devices but they won’t let me play my own music apart from via Bluetooth. I’m looking at Sonos One and Symfonisk speakers. Research suggests that I can play my own music (from my phone or tablet) and BBC radio via the sonos app. Is this correct? Can I play Spotify podcasts or Google podcasts (a thread from a couple of years ago suggests not)? I have an Android phone and table

Hi, I have a Sonos One SL speaker and have tried to connect multiple times, but the app always shows cannot connect to my speaker, even tho I have tried reset the speaker, the app and the router.  However, on one occasion, I plugged my speaker to the wall socket, instead plugging it on the extension power board, I can connect it again. After properly setting up device (finally), and connect Sonos to Spotify, next day, I have the same issue again. BUT, I can find the Sonos Speaker system in my Spotify and able to use it, but not via the Sonos App.  Can anyone please tell me what is the problem here?? 

Hi, I’m about to receive a Sonos Arc and wondering what the  set up for Home Theatre needs to be. I currently have Sonos Amp connected to my TV witch HDMI Arc Port + 2 Sonos SL used as front speakers. When setting up Sonos Arc, I was planning to use the 2 Sonos SL as rear wireless speakers, can I? What needs to be connected to the TV, the Amp or Sonos Arc? Will I need to connect the Amp at all? Sorry for the many questions!

When trying to play from Apple Music I get an ‘Unable to connect to Apple Music’ error.This has been persisting for over a week now.I have removed and re added my Apple Music account multiple times and this doesn’t fix the issue.I have reset my system and my router and this hasn’t fixed the issue.Apple Music works fine on all my other devices and other services like Sonos radio & Tune in work fine on Sonos.This is incredibly frustrating as I now have an entire Sonos system that is unusable.

I have 4 speakers. I can group 3 together my one, play:1 and beam and I have no issues.When I add my symfonisk table lamp to the group the music cuts out or stops altogether.All 4 speakers are within 7 or 8 meters of my wifi hub.Any ideas??

Hi AllHope all is well.I have a Sonos ONE in the kitchen running as expected with Alexa.I have just added a PORT into the lounge hooked into my existing amp and speakers.Via the Sonos App I can get both the PORT and ONE playing music together in sync.I use the ONE for voice control and I what I would like to do is is ask the ONE to also play music into the lounge at the same time rather than using the Sonos App.  I am trying to set this up via the Alexa app adding groups but Its all getting a little confusing.So simply put, music is playing on the ONE, I then want to add the PORT via Alexa so both the ONE and PORT are playing at the same time in sync.Anyone any ideas, is this possible?Thanks :)

I noticed this problem earlier this week. From my Sonos Favorites, I click on The Loft (Ch. 710) and i get the message. “Unable to play the selected item”.  Go to SiriusXM service and click on All Channels and all  of the 700 series channels are missing, the highest one listed is 470.  I removed the SiriusXM app and reinstalled it and no change.  I use the Sonos  S1 controller. Someone needs to fix this please.

At work we have an old sonos device connected to an old windows pc.. windows 7 i believe. The problem is that in the sonos app on the PC most things are greyed out, as in I can't click them. When I click the spotify button it says "your spotify account must re authorize, connect to another controller" huh..?When I try to update the sonos app it says there's problem with windows installer, when I try to download a newer windows installer it wont work.. feels like no matter what we are doomed.. I was wondering, can i somehow connect youtube to the sonos maybe? Because spotify seems to be no option.. i just want to be able to play my own music.. so far we can only play radio stations..  I tried to connect my phone to the sonos but it doesn't seem to have bluetooth, and It's hooked to some unknown wifi while I only have 4G.. Silly question but I guess there is no easy way to make your own "radio station" and play music from there?  What it looks like: https://imgur.com/a/93mkNcR

I’m korean and I’ve problem with playlist on S2 I use synology nas and I take it to the sonos S2 sucessfullyThere is no problem to play with file name  but text seems to be broken in the playlists It is just only playlist and tags there is no problem with file name. How can I fix this problem?

Hi All,Can anyone recommend how to stream high quality Grateful Dead?  I have SiriusXM but can’t figure out how to get the higher quality internet/app version to stream over sonos.  Satellite is understandably lower quality but there is a higher quality over the internet and over the phone app.  Has anyone dealt with this and have input?An altogether new GD streaming source would be great to learn of also.  Any input?thanks,Dave

Hi All,Not sure how best to explain this but when I open the app and try to search I can’t scroll down the list of services to see results from other services, I start to scroll and something happens and the screen goes back up to the top When I go to the list of Services & Voice I see that list constantly flashing as if it’s refreshing?  I have Amazon Music, Apple Music (x 3 accounts), BBC Sounds & Sonos Radio Any suggestions?

I am building out a home network and Sonos solution at the same time. I am planning on having a couple of amps wired via ethernet in a closet, but I also want to add one by our pool area. The SonosNet wifi definitely won’t reach there, but our home internet will, which would mean I’d need to go with a wireless setup, right? If that’s the case, will ethernet work on the ones inside the closet despite being in a wireless setup?

When I am playing music stored on my Samsung phone, the playlist or album wont play the next song unless my phone is unlocked and it will just stop. When I then unlock my phone it will carry on playing is there some setting i need to choose.

When I start playing an InTune station, Sonos starts playing another station for 20 seconds and then automatically switch to the correct station. This happens sinds two months or so, any idea for a solution?
