Hi,I recently finished setting up my full Sonos system (Arc+Sub+2xOne SL), and am loving it! However, I have an issue that when I pause TrueHD Atmos content for more than about 5 seconds (i.e. until the Atmos badge disappears in the S2 app), then resume there’s a metallic pop/static in the system before the sound starts again (this happens on the Arc and the surrounds, so not a single speaker issue). It doesn’t happen with other audio codecs (e.g. DTS, DD+). If I turn the volume down before unpausing, I don’t hear this, so it’s definitely speaker noise, and not some electrical noise in the system.Does anyone else have this issue and any suggestions on how to sort it?Thanks in advance!

Hi, when launching the installer EXE for the S2 Windows app as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM, it fails to install with the Windows Installer error: If I install as a user and run it with local admin / accepting UAC, it installs fine. We must be able to install this as system as most endpoint management software install software in this context to install software system-wide on a device.The problem also exists for the 130 installer, too.Grabbing and installing the .msi when extracted to %temp% as the InstallShield installer starts allows a successful install, so perhaps it’s some funky config in the InstallShield installer?

Hi there, throwing it out there if anyone can assist. I'm watching Netflix through my Foxtel iq4 box in Australia and about every 30 mins or so (no pattern) the sound dips/drops for a very short period of time. Its kind of like an audio 'skip'. Most wouldn't notice but I have, and its been happening for about a month. Appears to be only Netflix for now, but then again it is all I've really watched on this particular TV. I've tried all the obvious things like making sure all cords are connected. Hi, can anyone clarify whether my old Sonos Play:1s are compatible with the latest Beam (Gen 2), to create effective TV surround sound? TV is an LG 43UP81006LA. What would be the limitations of such a set up? Thanks.

I cant find my favourite radio stations. Why are you getting rid of the radio stations. So annoying. Time to move to another speaker. 

I have had some issues where I had connected Spotify to Sonos the day before and when I played Spotify in the car via Bluetooth, the Sonos speaker then played what I was playing in the car even without connecting via Spotify connect the next day. This was annoying because I couldn't stop it in Spotify on my phone because Spotify on my phone wasn't playing at the time.  Anyone else had this issue?

Setup:Sonos 5.1 surround system (Arc + Bass + 2x One SL) TV (LG OLED65CXPUA) via the HDMI eARC and a Monoprice High Speed HDMI 2019 Nvidia Shield Pro with Plex for video playbackProblem: Whenever I play videos with 7.1 audio tracks (including TrueHD/Atmos), I hear crackling from all speakers intermittently. It seems to correlate with high bass times, but it reproduces in similar parts of all videos I’ve tested with. This does NOT happen if the source is 5.1 (even if it’s 5.1 Atmos, such as a “E-AC-3+Atmos / E-AC-3” audio channel). I’ve specifically also tested with the Dolby test files available here: https://thedigitaltheater.com/dolby-trailers/, and for these two versions:Nature's Fury (Dolby Digital Plus ATMOS): plays fineNature's Fury (Lossless - ATMOS): crackles Any ideas?

Hello!So I have a bit of a complicated situation.My Sonos system is set up under an apartment internet provider. I am using a personal router to distribute wireless.Last week the internet provider for the complex had a network issue to which the only fix was to manually assign your DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 in order to be able to connect to the internet.Since you are unable to assign your DNS on your SONOS devices, would there be any reason I would be getting a 1101 while updating on my devices? I tried many things to fix this including manually setting the DHCP on my router and the static DNS, but nothing will fix my sonos system or allow My Sonos One or my Symfonisk to connect to the internet, or update. Any recommendations on trying to get my sonos system to connect or update properly? It’s basically unusable - barring the airplay

Hi Support Community - I have a Sonos Beam Gen 2 with 2 Sonos One SL used as surround speakers.I have an external third party subwoofer (Rel T3) and I was hoping to add the subwoofer and pair to the Beam and One SL surround speakers using the Sonos S2 app. I understand that the Sonos Beam can be paired to the Sonos Connect AMP (Gen 2) to add rear speakers, but just wondering if this can also be used to connect to a subwoofer instead (noting that I will not be using the amp to add rear surrounds)?Thanks!

I have a 5.1 set up with my surrounds being two Ones. When I play music through an app like Spotify are the surrounds playing in stereo mode?  I'm assuming the best setting for this would be Full for the surround speakers?

I have the following issue:I found a curated playlist using Apple’s iOS “Music” app.Playlist is named “Club des années 80 : les indispensables” (my iPhone configured in French).Now I want to play it using Sonos iOS app, but the issue is that it won’t show when searching…After trying and trying (and trying...) I finally found out that:The playlist “Club des années 80 : les indispensables” also as an English name that’s “80’s Club Essentials” If I input the English name on the Sonos iOS app search box, I then get the “Club des années 80 : les indispensables” result offered.So, there’s somehow an issue in my Sonos iOS app: it will search only the English name of playlists but it will display results with the “local name” for the language the controller app is running  (i.e French on my iPhone (configured in French).Is this a bug? or can I configure somewhere the language used for searches?I’ve checked my iOS Sonos app preferences, there’s with French as primary language.(iOS 15.3 / Sonos

This happens in both my Sonos app on my iphone and desktop. Songs in a number of my playlists(both user created and Spotify created) are greyed out. For instance, if I go to the Spotify created playlist “All Out 80s” in Sonos the song Just Like Heaven - the Cure is greyed out. If I go to the Spotify app then it will play just fine. 

I just upgraded my Playbar to the ARC (and sub) and my TV to the Sony AJ80. I have been testing for a couple of weeks, and at this point I am severely disappointed with the terrible volume level of the dialogue/voices while viewing movies.  I have to constantly increase the volume to hear dialogue but then turn it down when something explodes. My sources vary from using the smart apps on the TV (Netflix, Plex, HBO Max, Prime, Hulu, etc.) to watching shows/movies using my cable provider COX. The worst is while watching movies with COX. The sound format from COX is Dolby Digital 5.1, and the results are terrible. I have run Trueplay and turned on Speech Enhancement, and fiddled with every setting on the Sony TV. There just doesn’t seem to be a way to enhance the dialogue volume. I was researching on the web and noticed several comments in other forums that the problem may be the TV and how it outputs audio. New to Sonos.Installed Arc at the weekend and set up was fine.Installed two SLs today and set up seemed fine.Sound coming from all 3 speakers.Created surround sound group to get the stereo effect. All seemed to be fine.Now I’m getting sound from all 3 speakers for music/radio BUTwhen I switch to TV the sound is only coming from the Ark.HELP please! What have I done wrong or what step have I missed? 

We have a new Sonos Beam (Gen 2) hooked up to our Samsung Smart TV. It works fine, but it makes a noise that sounds like a DVD player when a disc loads, kind if that spinning, wind-up sound. This happens when nothing is even playing (TV or music), as well as when when Pandora or my music library is changing songs. Is that normal? It’s kind of bothersome. Something I’ve thought about is that I THINK this happens mainly when I’m casting from my laptop to the TV. Also when I’m playing my music library, which actually comes from my laptop. Is that possible, and if so, is that to be expected?

I’d like to integrate my new bluetooth enabled turntable into my Sonos sound system-- which consists of two Sonos 1’s, the Beam, and the Sub (gen 3).  What is the easiest and and least expensive way to do that?  I cannot drop $400 on another Sonos device at this time.  I bought a refurbished Sony SRS-XB23 wireless speaker, hoping to pair it which my turntable (which it does) and then with the rest of my system, but I think the Sony is not compatible, right?

I just bought a new Sonos Q70 tv. Currently I have the TV and a Sonos port connected through an old receiver. I want to take advantage of Dolby ATMOS in that room anf have decided to go with a high end sound bar. My first choice is the Samsung HW-Q950A, but it only has HDMI and optical inputs. Alas, the port only has RCA and digital Coax outputs. Is there any way to get the Poert to work with this soundbar.I considered the Sonos Arc but I will need two Ones and a Sub to get similar performance. That will run $700 more.

Hi All, Today january 2022 i bought fininally my Sonos Arc. I have read a lot of good reviews especially about the bass performance. But when i installed the Sonos Arc, the bass was very low and crappy. Even when changing the bass level in the EQ, you hear almost no difference between bass level 0 and 10.loudness is on, tried Trueplay two times, one time with a Iphone13pro and one time with an iPad, but still crappy bass. My Sonos Play5gen2 has  a perfect bass, so now i don’t know how to solve this. Can anyone provide me some tips and tricks, before i sent the unit back?many thanks. Niels

I switched out Playbase for Arc and now the surround L&R speakers are not working.  They are still showing up in the system for that room in my app.  

I was able to set up the surround with the Sonos Soundbar (gen 2) and 2 Sonos One SL speakers. However, when I stream older programs, the Sonos app shows Stereo PCM. and I don’t receive audio from the Sonos ONE SL speakers. When I stream from newer programs, I get ATMOS on the Sonos app, but the volume is not loud enough to notice the difference with the extra speakers.  Anyone have any comments?

I was having an issue with Sonos controller finding iTunes which is on NAS. Several false starts before I figured it out. Now that is fixed but I have 3 instances of Windows Media (myemail@somewhere.com) listed in Select a music source. How can I delete these entries while keeping Music Library which is the iTunes library that I use. Any and all suggestions appreciated  Terry

Bonjour Comme beaucoup d'entre-nous, j'ai été obligé de scinder mon système SONOS en 2 systèmes S1 et S2 (connect Amp obligatoirement sur S1 et sonos roam sur S2 !).Or la skill SONOS ne sait pas asocier 2 systèmes. Avez- vous trouvé une solution pour gérer les 2 systèmes via ALEXA ? J'ai vu la solution stupide proposée par SONOS qui est d'utiliser Google Assistant : je pense que SONOS n'a rien compris de l'utilisation des assistants vocaux. Une autre solution est d'utiliser un autre compte alexa : quelle est la marche à suivre ? Cordialement  

Bonjour,Je viens d’acheter 2 enceintes Sonos One que j’ai couplé en Stéréo et ajouter à ma sonos Beam.J’ai remarqué que des déconnexions s’effectuent souvent sur celles-ci (perte du WiFi, je pense ?).Je voulais donc soulager mon WiFi et brancher en Ethernet sur mon switch (qui est connecté à mon routeur).Et j’ai un message d’erreur m’indiquant de vérifier que le produit est connecté à votre routeur par un câble Ethernet et le WiFi ne se désactive pas !Et cela revient après quelques instants !J’ai également remarqué que lorsque j’utilise ma télécommande pour augmenter le son, seule celui de la barre Beam réagit, pas la paire de Sonos One.Savez-vous pourquoi cela ne fonctionne pas ?Faut-il le brancher en direct sur mon routeur ?Merci de vos éclaircissements.

Ever since I paired my Dish Network remote with the beam. The cancel button (on the remote) refuses to work half the time. It only started happening, once it was paired with my beam! Is there a way to UNPAIR it with beam, to see if this is indeed the cause of the my problem?
