I’ve read online that older Sonos devices (without Airplay2) will not appear appear in Homekit.  However, once you add a single Airplay2 compatible Sonos device, it will act as a bridge, enabling all Sonos devices to appear in Homekit.I have a house full of older Sonos devices that don’t support Airplay2 (but all are S2 compatible).  And then I have two devices that DO support Airplay2 - a Sonos Move, and an Ikea Symfonisk.  The Move and the Symfonisk appear in Homekit, but none of the legacy devices are there, which contradicts what I’m reading online.Hoping someone here can tell me if what I’ve read is incorrect, or if something is wrong with my setup.Thanks 

Is there a way to quickly level all the rooms/zones in a group without having to adjust the volume of each one individually? For example, I start playing music and select “Everywhere” and the volumes of each speaker/zone will be at a different level after their last individual uses. Then when I adjust the group volume they adjust proportionally from their individual starting points. I’d like a way to quickly normalize them so they are all at “volume level 15” rather than 11, 22, 19 & 28. If there isn’t a way, there should me (in my opinion)

I have the very first generation of sonos and when I connect my iphone (either via Spotify or directly via the Sonos app) and listen til music - it sounds like an AM radio, breaking up og sound disappearing..

I’m fully-committed to Sonos and very happy with the products for the most part. One thing that’s driving me nuts is how little sound comes out of the ceiling speakers when playing music.  I have Sonos brand ceiling speakers, AMP, Arc, Sub in my living room and when I play music, I can’t hear anything coming from the ceiling speakers. If I unpaid them, the sound is great.  They’re in Full Mode and cranked up to 15 in settings.  any suggestions?

Hello, my wifi setup of two Play 1 and one Play5 gen:1 has been working fine until recently. My Play 5 is not detected anymore. I've read a lot about similar issues and unseccessfully tried to troubleshoot (restart, ethernet connections). Note that I'm stil using the S1 app because I am limited by my devices (none of them support S2). Therefore I cannot add a new Sonos element from scratch.If anyone faced similar issue or has any thoughts, I'd be grateful. Thanks!

I got Samsung QE65QN85A paired with new ARC. I have to set the volume at around 60% for a normal listening.Is it normal for the arc? my previous samsung soundbar was much louder. submitted diagnostics 2090418864

I have read that Stereo PCM is a uncompressed stereo channel and therefore I am curious as to how the Arc soundbar sometimes diverts sound to the surround speakers.It also happens when playing Dolby Digital 2.0I thought that only when playing Multichannel or Dolby Digital 5.1 channels was this possible?Perhaps someone could explain 🤔 Cheers 🍻 

The Sonos app says Google Assistant is not available in Australia but the Sonos website says it’s available. Has anyone been able to add Google Assistant to Sonos Arc?

Hi all,I’ve been troubleshooting for a while now, but haven’t been able to locate the problem:I normally play music and podcasts on my Sonos devices through Spotify, and this has been working fine for a long time, but suddenly my sonos devices are not detected anymore in Spotify App. I’m using a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE with Android 12. Sonos devices are, Play 1, play 3, Sonos One (pair) and a sonos AMP, connected on a mesh wifi net with Nokia beacon 1. Stuff I tried:Restarting phone Reconnecting to spotify account in Sonos app Playing Spotify songs from Sonos app (works fine) Updating Sonos speakers from PC app Restarting wifi network, power cycling router (a technicolor router I got through my ISP) Toggling the “show only local devices” in Spotify settings (normally set to “off”, but neither option works) Checking mesh wifi status though Nokia app (didn’t change anything as this is also from my ISP and config is locked - and has worked fine until now) Disabling my DuckDuckGo App trackin

I have the Sonos Beam & Roam. It plays Apple Music through the app… BUT it will not play Apple Music through voice controlled Alexa on the Beam or Roam. I have disabled services, disabled skills, deregistered devices, deleted apps, reset services and it will not work. HELP! PLEASE!

Can anyone confirm that the only way to wire connect:amp speakers for surround with an Arc is to have the arc hardwired with ethernet to the router or a connect amp?  it seems to defeat a main benefit of sonos wireless capabilities.  this is from an article on the subject. I am deciding on an Arc home theater and it will require extra wiring if the article is accurate. Ive got a Five and Sub and a Boost running off our home internet.  The setup works great.  It’d be fun to take this setup camping.  I understand the power constraints, issues with music off grid, etc.  My question is, can I just unplug the Five, Sub, and Boost, then plug it all back into the battery pack and pull local music from phone?

Love my Sonos one SL speakers without microphone for security reasons.Is there a Sonos Beam without microphones as well?  If not can you kind folks please add it to your wish list?  

Hello, I just purchased the Sonos Arc, Sub and 2 One rears pkg. I was trying to test the system by streaming music via airplay together with my 2 Apple Home Pods and 2 Home Pod minis. When all the speakers are playing together, only 1 of the 2 HomePod and 1 of the 2 HomePod mini plays with the Sonos pkg. Is this normal?Thanks,Eric

Can anyone tell me what is supposed to be included under the “My Music” heading within the Apple Music service in the Sonos app? I assumed it would show me music that I’ve added to my Library from within the native Apple Music app, but it’s empty (all sections within My Music are empty — artists, albums, playlists, etc). All other aspects of Apple Music that the Sonos app supports work fine. 

Hello, ...I just saw that in the Sonos S2 (13.4.1) application on macOS, in the Preferences –> Music Library –> Music Library Settings, in “My music folders on Sonos”, we could point to several folders . In my case, and since I have a Sonos system, I specified a “Music” folder located on my Synology NAS.My question: is the limitation to 65,000 files imposed by Sonos calculated on a single shared folder or on all the shared folders?...If so, it could blow up this incomprehensible limitation of Sonos!…If not, is this limit 65000 units or 65536 units (2 to the power of 16)?…Finally, does this limit take into account folders and image files (cover)?…Thank you for your answers...   ;-)

Hello everyone,I have a sonos 5.1 (Arc, 2 One SL, Sub) setup in a living room, and we have been noticing while listening to music via streaming from an app (Apple Music, Spotify) from within the sonos app, the sub audio stream cuts out for a varying period of time before coming back in. Doesn't seem to happen while watching movies or tv shows probably because the stream comes from the eARC rather than the internet.Things ive tried:*Changing the location of the sub to see if interference was a cause while all wireless mode.*Switching from a wireless setup to a wired setup (Arc wired to router, all others wireless on sonos net).*Switching to 2 wired (Arc and Sub wired, all other on sonos net)*Changing sonos net channel (Tried all 3, no fix)*Factory resetting Sub and re-adding to group (Both wired and wireless setups)*Resetting routerEven with both the Sub and Arc wired, the sub still cuts out so I don't think interference is still a problem. Strange problem.  I have a pair of Fives.  If I’m playing ripped music from the Apple music app on my iPad or iPhone, or from the Amazon Prime app on either, it will play a handful of songs, and then stop.  It’s always at the end of a song, never in the middle, and happens pretty much every time I use it.  It might be after two, three, four, five, etc.  No consistency.  I use my iPhone daily in my car with CarPlay, and it’s never happened.  I also have a HomePod in my office that I stream to from my iPhone (also AirPlay), and it’s never happened there either.  So it’s two different music sources, two different devices, and only with the Sonos speakers.  I also have the Sonos skill setup and can stream from an Echo, and that never stops.  Anyone else experience this?

Hello, I’m looking for a way to lock my Apple Music account with a password so no one else on the Sonos account can use it. The issue isn’t people on the account but people on my personal Apple Music. Is there a way to password protect personal music streaming accounts? 

I play a 40hz pure sine wave through my sub at night to mask low frequency noise from outside. The volume of the sub is on the lowest setting. This has been good but recently it has started to 'pulse' rather than deliver a consistent tone which defeats the purpose of playing it. I removed and reinstalled the sub which seemed to help but even doing that isn't working now. Would anyone know how I can stop this pulsing or why it's happening?

Hi, can anyone please help with connecting a pair of sonos fives to my tv? I know you can plug a 3.5 jack into the back of the speaker but my tv does not have that sort of connection. Is there any way to go around this as I want to be able to play for example youtube videos through my sonos five speakers. 

The latest Sonos system update broke NAS access. I have TP-Link Archer C9 router with Samsung  PSSD T7 portable SSD. All access is enabled for the drive. It worked for months, one day no go. I can access the drive from every other device I have. In Windows 10 and android I add the drive in Music Library Settings, Sonos sees the drive for a second, then says it is no longer available. I spent an hour with support and remote access, ended with the claim it was the NAS drive settings. I have factory reset, uninstalled and reinstalled apps on windows and android. Still doesn’t work. I can play Pandora on the system and music from my android.

Hi.  Spotify steaming jumps tracks and completely stop several times a day but  Sonos radio streaming works fine. I have tried to log out everywhere for spotify and it improves for ½ a day then renders usless.i have a fibre broadband package 100Mbs with no data limits.Any thoughts to stop this track jumping and stopping would be most appreciated.

Can someone explain to me the logic behind the annoying “feature” S2 app has that wakes up my PC every time a new piece of music starts playing?I explain. I have S2 running on my PC. I select a station I want to play. Then I put my PC to sleep (so it turns my computer and the monitors off so it doesn’t use energy) and go downstairs to do my stuff or to stay with my friends. The music plays and the moment a new song comes on, my computers comes out of sleep mode and is “ready” for something. I was told once by support guy that this is so in case you want to change the music, it’s already there. Why on Earth I want this to be ready if I’m downstairs (or far away) from the machine? Do they know that people can do the same from their phone app?It’s just plain stupid and a waste of energy. My PC has some LED lights so I can’t use it when I want to have a relaxing nap. I have to make sure that I shutdown the app first before putting my PC to sleep.So annoying.Anyone has the same problem?
