Hi All  I’m breaking my head trying to find a solution to streaming Netflix sound thru SONOS. When I watch Netflix in apple device (macbook, iphone) and airplay sound to SONOS, there is a slight but noticeable lag. I guess SONOS processes sound input before playing in speakers and that is causing the micro second lag in sound. Is there any good solution to listening movie sound thru SONOS. I was thinking of SONOS Port (although very costly) but understand that the lag issue will be there with Port also. I have ONE SL (2)+SUB in one room.

I have connected a hdfury arcana up to my sonos arc surround system and a ps5. Before I had it connected was getting dolby digital plus 5.1 and now i only get dolby digital 5.1. I can now get multichannel pcm 5.1 or 7.1 changing settings on ps5. Whats the best to have it on and can I get dolby digital plus back.My TV remote also no longer controls my ps5 is there someway to fix this.

I thought I would test the new update that supports DTS.  When I feed it a DTS signal from Plex, it is silent.  If I disable the DTS audio in plex, it is transcoded to Dolby. My settings are all correct as far as I can see. I have tried DTS regular and DTS HD and neither work. My system and TV are both up to date.

Hi,IssueMy sound is cutting out on the TV. I have a Playbar and two Play:1 surrounds. SetupThe Playbar is connected to the Sony TV via optical and is hard-wired via Ethernet to a router (via an unmanaged switch). I have experienced the sound issue on both an Amazon Fire TV and Sky Q  I have sent diagnostics - 731055792.Any help would be appreciated     

Hi guys,Im a owner of the sonos arc and two sonos one gen2 speakers. I dont use the sonos sub.Does anyone know what EQ settings are the best to bring out the best sound? 

Okay. I hope I can explain what is happening. I have a Sonos Beam Gen 2, a Sub Gen 3, and two ONE SL Surrounds. When watching a Dolby Atmos program (test), there is a punch sound that travels in a circle to demonstrate 360 sound. When the “punch” sound travels to the rear surrounds, the SUB drops out and the bass in the surrounds also drops out. So, I get the full 180 degree punch sound in the front while the rear is only firing the mid-range sound from the surrounds. The deep bass is washed out. I expected the Sub to continue firing the deep punch sound even if the rear surrounds are the only ones receiving the signal. For example, an explosion in the rear of you or someone hitting a big drum in the back. So, does Sonos assume only bass sounds can happen in front of you if that is where the sub is placed? Right now, if there is a bass player or explosion behind you, it’s empty because Sonos is only sending low frequency sounds to the sub when the BEAM is playing the sound. How can you

I have a Beam 2 with a sub and 2 surround speakers, but I can’t get Atmos to work from my Roku through my reasonably new Samsung 4K TV.  I believe that the Netflix movie “6 Underground” provides Atmos.  My TV recognizes that the Beam supports Atmos.  But the movie is sent to the Beam as PCM (stereo).I am hooking up the Beam to the TV through the ARC port.Is there something special that I need to do to get it working?

My Roam won’t play when connected to Wi-Fi.  It played once when I first set it up but now it (for lack of a better way to describe it) skips while playing music.  Another interesting behavior is that when I try to increase the volume it sets itself back to a set volume, e.g. its at 15 and when I try to go to 30 it pops back to 15.  Volume limiting is off..  I have reset it several times and re-paired it to no avail. BUT - bluetooth works…. 

I ordered home theater system on 01/04 and was supposed to ship on 01/14 but the status still shows as Backorder. Is this delay normal? The customer support don’t provide any other dates.Thanks!

Woke up today to Sonos not workings… rest of network is fine. Attempted to reset (unplug..) and App can’t find them. Used “Fix It” and when it reaches the screen that asks “We found multiple Sonos Systems, Let’s confirm the one you want to update” and click “Continue” the app does nothing.. sits there.  Deleted app, reinstall… tried on iPad and iPhone.. nothing.  Anyone else? Suggestions? 

Hi absolut radio have said they are no longer broadcasting in the normal way. If o want to listen to them I have to load planet radio via sonos. I have tried for two days to do this but keep getting an error message what do I need to do please? 

When I use the Alexa to activate something else like lights for example it automatically turns on my TV. I then have to ask it to turn the TV off.  Is there a way to use the Alexa on the Arc without this happening?  Thanks

Everything worked well till recently (eg yesterday), but as from this morning the Play:5 no longer seems to connect/work over wifi. No change was done on wifi network, wifi coverage is excellent and all other devices appear to have no problem with wifi (including other Sonos products). Resetting the Play:5, restaring the router, assigning a fixed IP address to the Play:5 or selecting another wifi network does not solve the issue. When network cable is unplugged:Play:5 no longer appears as available in the app ('System' page as well 'About My System') Play:5 no longer plays any music (eg radio) when I press the play button Play:5 appears in the Airplay list on my iPhone, but actual Airplay connection appears to fail App function 'Find Missing Products' is unable to retrieve App function 'Manage Networks' brings mixed results, only once out of several attempts I managed to get connected to wifi (router lists IP address) ... but the device did not end up in the 'System' page and after res

As others have described (in closed threads), I have the dreaded “playback paused because your account is being used in another location” error.I have tried all the troubleshooting steps in those threads to no avail:disconnect/reconnect YT Music service in Sonos ensure no other devices are playing (physically unplugged all Google devices, closed YT music tab on computer, and force quit app on phone) update/reboot sonos speaker“Premium” songs play fine in YT Music app, on desktop, and on Nest devices. EVERY “premium” song that I attempt to play on Sonos (either via desktop application or app) gives the “another location” error.Per the other threads, Sonos is blaming YouTube for the error and YouTube is blaming Sonos. As a user, I don’t care who the problem is with, I just want it to work.If this is not resolved, I’ll be moving away from Sonos permanently.

I’ve set up my Rega P2 to the pre-amp then into the connect then into the technics Amp in the mini system to power the speakers. Is this sequence correct ? I have really low volume out of all my other Play and Play 1 units.  And have to have the volume on the app set to max to get decent volume out of the speakers without turning the amp to high volume levels and getting speaker hiss.  Line in is set to ‘source level 10’, line out to ‘Variable’, Audio delay to ‘Low’

I don’t know how to get this to work again. Until the weekend it was fine.  The bbc site says to scroll down on the services to choose the bbc. But that option does not exist… Help please! 

I have had Dark Mode working on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, but yesterday everything just turned light. The option to enable it in the App Settings menu has disappeared. I have restarted the app, deleted and re downloaded but it is still missing. It is still working fine on my M1 iPad Pro. Grrrrr it’s just reappeared when I was going to get a diagnostics report. once again …… grrrrrrrrr 

I read on the internet that it is Bluetooth 4.2, but on the official website, it says that it is 5.0 ... which one is true? Has the Move had a hardware overhaul?

My system has stopped connecting to AirPlay. It worked perfectly for years but then stopped sometime around the end of 2021. I’ve tried various resets and other methods mentioned in this forum but nothing has helped. I can see my Sonos products listed in the airplay options. I’d appreciate any suggestions as to why this is happening and how to correct it.My system:2 Play 5s (airplay compatable) 2 Play 3s (not airplay compatable but grouped with the 5s) One Play 5 is wired to the network, the rest are on wifi I’ve already tried:Rebooting router after waiting 30 seconds Reconfiguring network settings via sonos app Rebooting Sonos products Ensured Sonos products are showing up correctly in the home app

So to be clear... if I have a sonos arc and sub in the living room, but have a sonos amp with speakers in the back yard, I can listen to them as a single group, or use separate? As in the arc playing a movie and out back playing spotify. Or watch a different TV source on each, while being able to do this all within the same app login? Hopefully I am making my point lol.

Recently bought amp and outdoor sonace speakers… Everything worked great for a few days and now only one speaker works.  If I resent and hold down the pairing button the second speaker will work for a song or 2 and then shuts off .  What could be going on?

Hi.  I’ve had a Sonos Connect for about 4 years and have never managed to make it do what I bought it for, which is to play my hifi separates (turntable, CD player and cassette player) through the Sonos speakers - so I’m trying to crack this finally. I was told this would work when I bought this, but have never managed to make it work.  Looking at web pages about this, everything focuses on enabling you to play  streaming services accessed via the Sonos app, through the Connect onto hifi speakers, whereas what I want to do is the opposite way round.  Things I read suggest this is possible but don’t ever explain how! So … is it possible to do this, and if so, can I connect them all into the Connect via my existing hifi amp (Yamaha A-S301)?  When I try connecting everything, I can’t make anything happen.  Part of the problem is I don’t understand how it helps to have the Sonos Connect listed as one of the parts of the overall Sonos system, since somehow what I need to happen is for the S

This issue has clearly been occurring for a while and there’s still no fix for it. When you have Wi-Fi turned on on your phone (iPhone 13) the “Podcasts & Shows” filter is not present in the search section of the Sonos app (which I just updated)  As soon as you turn off the Wifi the feature appears in the search bar of the App ( where of course it’s then of no use bc the app is not connected to Wi-Fi this flaw has been long documented by other users and no fix has come thru… These speakers are VERY expensive and while they are good quality this REALLY feels like something that should have long been fixed by now…

trying to add additional voice enabled units to existing system.  I originally created an Amazon account for the purpose but no longer have access to its associated email.  When I try and add new units it links automatically to existing old Amazon account and states its sent a verification email to my redundant inaccessible account.  I don’t seem able to break this auto completion of existing Alexa account . Tried deleting all existing voice account links and starting from scratch to use new Alexa account but I can’t break out of the precompleted old account details- help please
