Please help me restore sanity and a working system oh wise ones!I’ve been using this set up for 3 years and @ratty and @John B double checked my thinking, and set up, which was correct and not complicated.Draytek 2760n router, Google hub, Sonos bridge into hub and various S1 speakers dotted about. It’s worked like a dream until now.All  that’s changed is I’ve switched to VM and have a Hub 4 in modem mode, into the Draytek and Google hub / bridge connected as before. I did have to disconnect everything but it’s all gone back exactly as was.  The Google hub says the bridge is wired, but the Sonos app keeps dropping, and when it does connect it seems to be on WiFi as the ability to change channels is greyed out, indicating SonosNet isn’t in operation. If I cycle the bridge power it seems to reconnect but only temporarily.I don’t know what I’ve done but I’ve broken it somehow and don’t know how to fix it. It’s been a struggle to get the Draytek and VM hub to talk but that’s sorted (albeit

After my Samsung Galaxy S20 updated to Android 12/One UI 4, I have lost the Sonos controller as a lock screen widget. The latest OS seems to group lock screen widgets in categories, such as “Music.” All of my device music/podcast app controls work as lock screen widgets in the music/media output category. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the Sonos controller working again on the lockscreen - never fully recognized how useful it was until it was gone.

Please can we have hi res audio for play bar?  I can’t see it on the list of supported products and plan on keeping it for another couple of years yet. Thanks, Duncan

Hi,Recently purchased a beam gen 2, have tried everything I can google/YouTube to get Dolby atmos set up and working, phillips 58pus7805 ambilight - says it’s atmos compatible - purchased in 2021 HDMI lead provided connected to hdmi arc connection (all 3 on tv are arc - tried all 3) Netflix subscription is right, and I’ve tried recommend known atmos films etc,I cannot find anything in the tv settings which I’ve missed?   Please help! 😂

I don’t really understand why I can’t use Google Assistant with Sonos when I can use it with Android. One of the reasons buying a Sonos product was it’s Google Assistant support. I found the list of supported countries: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3491?language=en_US When will Hungary be added to the “coming soon” part and when can I expect it to be supported?

So this happens consistently, I have restarted my phone, updated the SONOS app, turned wifi off/on. Still keeps happening, and there’s not much on error 1000….This is what the process looks like screen for screen: 1: add new device2: checking app version3: Error code - 1000Please help! I have browsed the support pages, but there’s really nothing on this error.

I know there have been discussions on what ports are needed for the Sonos controller app to work, but I have the opposite questions, what are the minimal set of ports to block the Sonos app. My use case is for a vacation home and AirBnB. I want my AirBnb guest to be able to the Sonos via AirPlay, Pandora app, and Spoitfy connect, but I do not want them to be able to use the Sonos app to mess up my services / settings. I use to have this working, but I think some ports changed somewhat recently. Thanks all.

Driving me mad - does anyone know where I can find the version of Blondie - Heart of Glass that Sonos Radio plays? its not the original Parallel lines version as it has a different playout with Clem Burke doing different paradiddles to fade out. Help!

My Arc has been on back order.  The expected ship date was 1/21/22, but I’ve heard nothing.   Just keep waiting?  

New Beam Gen 2 and Sub Gen 3 owner -- my first Sonos speakers.My Apple TV 4K is connected to my Samsung 6100 TV via HDMI. The Beam is connected from the TV via the dedicated ARC HDMI port. HDMI-CEC protocol (Anynet+) is turned on.I’ve confirmed through the Sonos app that when watching TV I seem to only get Stereo PCM 2.0 output, when I believe I should be getting some kind of virtualized surround output. Am I missing something? Or misunderstanding?

I will be using the Sonos amp’s RCA Line In from my home theater preamp’s Height channel outputs. They will be connected to my In ceiling speakers to be used as Atmos  height channels. Because height channels cannot be repurposed as a stereo pair for music, would the Sonos amp solve my problem and automatically switch between network airplay and the line in height channels ?

I had a pair of 5’s, a pair of Ones, and a new Beam. Almost immediately after setting up the system, I starting having issues finding the system components. I was connecting to a mesh network via Netgear Orbi satellites which provide great WiFi throughout my small home. None of the speakers were wired.Speakers are all located on the same floor within 40ft of each other. Samsung Note 10 phone with SONOS app. Recently, I added a Boost in hopes of fixing my issues. I reset all of my SONOS speakers to provide a clean start. I added my Boost first. Then each of the 5 speakers one by one. Everything went well and for about 10 minutes I could see all of my speakers. I went back to work in my office and checked again. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to see any of my system components for the last few hours regardless where I am in the house.  I’m ready to put the whole system on Craigslist. The most annoying system I’ve ever dealt with. Please help. 

Hi, I recently updated my router at home. Now i try to reconnect my Sonos speakers but the Ikea Synfonisk bookshelf has a problem.I updated my app to the latest version and an update to my Synfonisk poped up.So i updated my Synfonisk and connected the speaker to the new network but now i cant find it in my system any more. When i try to add the speaker to my system but the app wont find it.I tryed to factory reset it but it didn't help.I tryed to contact the Sonos support but no one was at work during the week. can any one help?

My settings are: My Sonos connect is connected to a device/connecter which again connects to my #1 Yamaha Amplifier, (connected to my loudspeakers) as well as- via an optical cable, to my former #2 Samsung Smart Tv.  TV Sound was played on my loudspeakers. 8 days ago I installed a new Samsung TV The Frame 2021, which ran smoothly. Without having touched any cables,  the TV sound went missing to 1 loudspeaker, later to the 2nd.  Sonos/spotify runs as usual/no problems.  Was on Samsung Helpdesk who couldn’t help. Samsung Tv appears to have a signal for it’s TV loudspeaker and optical.  I conclude: Samsung does not support the connection path to Sonos by optical cable. Tried testing by new optical cable. No result.  How do I get sound back in my great loudspeakers via the Sonos connect? 

I am considering a Roam for my office set-up and would prefer to position it vertically on my desk - my concern is that it doesn’t have the rubber ‘feet’ on the end, in the same way as it has on it’s side, and may cause it to vibrate on the desk surface. Does anyone have any experience with this type of set-up? Thanks D

Hi there.From some reason, my Sonos 1 pair needed to be reconfigured.I tried that several times, with no resolution.After unplugging all speakers (3 Sonos 1) and my internet router and restart the Sonos app, I noticed that one of my speaker isnt recognized by the app.I tried to add it as a new product and the app cannot see itI did factory reset and that didnt helpRight now, I have a green light on that speaker, but the Sonos App cant find it.Please help… Thank you Ron  

I just got new Sonos One devices and trying to add my first one to a “Downstairs” group that contains an Amazon Echo Dot (oder model) and an Echo Plus (also, not newest model).  The Sonos One shows as incompatible.  When I remove the echo devices from the group and add the Sonos One, then the echo devices show as incompatible.I did add the Sonos skill and followed all those steps.  I also disabled and then re-enabled the skill several times.  I made the Sonos one a preferred speaker for the “Downstairs group” but it just accepts the command but does not play on it when the other (echo) downstairs speakers are playing.Any help will be very much appreciated!

is there a redo / reboot for ARC setup?can I start all over since I screwed up on the original setup process and created an extra room I did not mean to?can you delete the ARC from your system and try to set it up all over again as a brand new ARC to be added to your system?Thank you

Background to Understand the ContextI am a very long time Sonos user. I am in the process of moving from a Windows 10 machine to a shiny new Windows 11 machine. (Alder Lake CPU, so Windows 11 is a requirement.) My music library is hosted on the Windows 10 machine, and I need to relocate the music library to the new Windows 11 machine so I can retire the former.I have a playlist that runs all night in the bedroom and another playlist that runs every morning for hours in the kitchen. These have played without incident for over a decade.The Issue on the New Windows 11 MachineHaving duplicated my music library on the new machine, I changed the music library folder from //WIN10PC/Tunes to //WIN11PC/Tunes. At first blush, everything works! Every room, every controller, music library, music services.HOWEVER (dammit). Just purchased an Arc to go on my 2013 Panasonic Plasma,  The TV has ARC HDMI but obviously no eARC.  I see that I could buy the Fury splitter, but at that price I’d rather wait and get a 65”C1 at some point.  Just not ready to depart with my Plasma yet.   

I have a Port connected to my router via ethernet.  Wifi has been disabled in the Port.  Sonos regularly disconnects from my music library.  I get the message unable to browse music.  When this happened yesterday, I restarted my router (xfinity gateway) and the system worked fine all day.  The system worked fine for a couple hours this morning, but now it’s glitchy again, unable to play whole tracks without skipping forward and then stopping altogether.  Strange this happens with a port directly wired to router.  Not using wifi for it.

Why is it nessary to have an Apple Music account to be able to control Sonos from apple devices and siri?

Im looking to upgrade my basement entertainment area to a complete sonos surround system. Since i have sonos throughout the house, this is the last room to be integrated.  I currently have 3 hardwired speakers in the TV wall, and two hardwired in the ceiling above/behind the couch. I was thinking of setting up a sonos compatible receiver (Onkyo or Pioneer) to connect all my entertainment devices. I would like to avoid everything connecting to the TV since I already have the HDMI running behind the wall from the TV to the console table below.Do I still need the sonos amp with the compatible receiver, if i were to replace in wall and in ceiling speakers to sonos?Can I create a surround sound environment with 2 in wall sonos speakers in front, ARC sound bar in front, a Sub, and 2 in ceiling sonos speakers behind? I want to use the hardwired options since everything is already wired. Its a large basement. Ive looked on multiple threads but have only found mixed results. Thank you in advanc
