I recently purchased a new AV set up: 2021 Samsung Frame 55” TV, Apple TV 4K, Sonos Beam (gen 2) with 2x One SL and Sub set up in 5.1 configuration (on the Sonos app). The Beam is connected to the TV (One Connect Box) using eARC cable The Apple TV is connected to the TV (One Connect Box) using HDMIWhen I play any Apple TV content (Netflix or Plex etc), the Sonos app only shows Stereo PCM, not 5.1. I have played around with the Audio settings in the TV (including changing the setting to Auto or Passthrough - neither fix the problem). I have ensured that all software is the latest version.The only way I can get the Sonos to play anything in 5.1 is when I use the Netflix app on the TV which is really patchy in terms of performance. I presume that this is because the HDMI that connects the Apple TV to the TV (One Connect Box) is standard HDMI only (not eArc). The problem is though that the One Connect Box only has one eArc port which I need to use for the Beam connection. Any help on how t

Having trouble with Beam cutting out when streaming music but only when playing on other speakers as well. Setup = Sonos Boost - plugged into one node of TP Link Mesh, 2 Sonos Play1, 4 Sonos1 speakers and Sonos Beam all in different rooms.If I stream music only to the Beam it works fine (never cuts out).  If I stream music to the beam and to other rooms the beam will periodically cut out and then come back on.  Prior to the Beam, I had 2 Sonos1 speakers in the room as a stereo pair and had no issues.I have checked my network speed and I am consistently above 150 mbpsI have changed the network channel….no fixI have checked to make sure all are showing WM 0  Anybody in the same boat?  Any solutions/ideas?

I have 2 x Play 1 speakers stereo paired and using the S2 app.  Can I but an additional single "one" and pair it with an old play 1 in stereo mode and put the other old single Play 1 some where else?

We keep getting an error message saying that we are “unable to connect devices. Try again later.” We have a Sonos arc, a play one, two Sonos ones, and a move. The Sonos ones and the move won’t connect to any other devices in the system. They will work individually, but I’m unable to use features like “play everywhere“ or any groups. We have restarted the router and restarted all the devices as some of the forums recommend.  we also ran a diagnostic: 2083649892

I have been using Sonos Desktop to play my stereo enabled Roams since Alexa just keeps telling me to get the skill I already have :). Now I have a problem using Sonos desktop to search music. Nothing is coming up at all except for “my music” that’s on the PC - none of the subscription tracks are showing at all. I saw this in a few dated threads but never saw a solution. My Sonos S2 desktop app was recently updated a week or so ago. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem or has a solution. (And other services are fine on the desktop app, and I can see my amazon music subscription fine from my iphone)

I have Sonos beam with 2 play one’s. The play ones keep disconnecting frequently. I followed the troubleshooting steps on the forum now the problem is in the app play ones appear to have music played on them but it is not. Need your help, at times it is frustrating to do the same things again and again with no permanent solution.

Hi, Has anyone figured out a way to install Sonos Beam Gen 2 sound bar onto Mantle Mount MM540 pull down TV mount. I got the Sonos Wall mount for beam and tried to hook it up the mount unsuccessfully. Checking with the sonos community to see if anyone had this figured out. Appreciate your help in advance.regards!p

I have a Sonos playbar and Sonos 5 speakers. I only hear the playbar and not the speakers. I have the volume all the way for the speakers. What do I need to do to hear the speakers? 

I changed the name of the PC hosting my Sonos controller and music collection.When I try to play a track I get the message:"Sonos unable to play <track-name> cannot connect to <serer-name> because the server cannot be found" How do I fix this without reverting to the name change?

I always hoping the volume level can show with numbers on the slide bar and I could find that it's now available on IOS Sonos App... and can also access to EQ settings very easily. But why this is not available for Android Sonos App? I believe it won't be that difficult? Please help to do this asap, thanks!

Hello all!I just bought myself my first Sonos Ikea Speaker.When playing Spotify it starts to make strange cracking sounds but the music continues playing.i was able to catch in on video maybe you can see/hear for yourself.  Thanks in advance 

The IOS 15.3.1 update has made Sonos S2 app not work well.  It is tough and locks.  Does anyone have this problem? How to fix it?

Hello, Hope you are all doing good. I have 2 Move and a Roam devices. They work well, i have no problem with them and are configured in the app of my android device as well as the app of my iPad.The sound bar I bought years ago for my TV started not to work properly anymore and there was a sale at the shop so i decided to buy the Beam (gen2) .I started the app, it detected the Beam, everything configured, sound is coming out and ...suddenly… no more Move not even Roam. they just completely disappeared from the app and are not coming back to it unless i unplug the beam from the power outlet and wait for several minutes. I deleted and reinstalled the app, thinking it’s coming from there. I also restarted my router ...nothing works.Did this happen to anyone else ? and does someone know how to solve it ?Thanks a lot for your help 

I saw a related post on this topic but it seemed to be a phone specific issue (i.e. Google Pixel).  I’m using iOS devices and am experiencing strange behavior.  I connected my Amazon Firestick to the Move via Bluetooth and it works great.  But the Move shows up in the Sonos App as Offline.  So I can’t do anything via the app - see battery %, change the volume, connect with other speakers, etc.  It’s appears to be a “dumb” BT speaker that I have to operate manually using the device buttons on the Move to change volume.   Out of curiosity, I connected my Roam to the Firestick via bluetooth and had a completely different experience.  It does not show as Offline in the Sonos app but rather a completely functional Sonos speaker.  I can see the battery level, control the volume, group the Roam with other speakers in my network, etc. - which is awesome.  See below for full functionally pics in the Sonos App when connected via Bluetooth.  It seems very strange that Roam has this full functiona

Hi,I want to have this below setup Sonos ARC as a center speakersonos amp connected to Right and Left speaker Sonos SubSonos Symphony photo frames as left and right surround speaker The only possible solution suggested as of now is have Sonos Arc connected with Sonos sub and Sonos Symphony photo frames as left and right surround speaker as a home theater setup and when the TV start , I can group Sonos AMP with left and right speakers.  but what I am looking is to have all these connected through wired connection like Sonos Arc and AMP connected through wire as a whole system and not wirelessly two different group.  I have tried HDMI extractor device but did not work. No sound coming out of either ARC or AMP so that’s option is no go.  Any advise/ suggestions will be appreciated.  Thanks , 

I have a playbar and a sonus sub gen 2. Been working like a dream for years. The other day I noticed that the sub seems to be making a slight buzzing noise.  I have unplugged it and plugged it in from the mains and the disconnected the power lead. Any help or advice guys please? 

I have a TCL 65R635 (Roku) television and am trying to figure out why, when setting audio to passthrough, it only sees two formats available to passthrough to the Sonos Arc: Dolby Atmos and DTS Digital Surround. The problem is that I am trying to get my PlayStation 5 to output audio in either Linear PCM 5.1 or even at least Dolby Digital Plus, but because the tv only sees those two as the formats the Arc accepts via passthrough, it reduces Linear PCM to stereo channels or Dolby bitstream to just Dolby Digital, not plus or TrueHD.I am struggling to understand where the problem is here. My interpretation is that my tv is becoming a gatekeeper to what audio formats can be passed through to the Arc, communicating that to the PS5, and the tv sees the Arc only accepting two audio formats via eARC.Can anyone help me understand how the Arc can communicate via eARC that it can accept Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, and Linear PCM 5.1 so the corresponding devices will output appropriately?

I’m unable to add new speakers to my existing system because a Bridge still shows up as in the system even though I’ve gone through the removal/reset process on the Bridge.  After resetting the Bridge (repeatedly), as well as rebooting the router, the Bridge still shows up in the system.  The system has a Port, still works and even updates.  But, when I go to add a new speaker to the system, the app says I need to update the system, which always fails because it still shows a Bridge that’s incompatible with S2.  Any suggestions how to remove/forget the Bridge short of having to forget and reinstall my entire system (some 15 products)?  Thanks in advance.

My main room TV audio is connected through eARC with Sonos (Arc, Sub, Plays) and other rooms in my place have HomePods.  If I am trying to play music throughout the house if I am in-between the room where the Sonos Speakers are and the HomePods are there is a distinct delay in what is being played even though they are all being airpplayed through the same device.  This just may be another case of HomePods and Sonos just don’t match well together, but any help would be great- thank you!

I’m using Sonos S1 with a Sonos ZP100, a Sonos 3, and a couple of Sonos 1s. My music library is stored on a mac mini, called Desktop. I’m using an Eero gateway router and also have an Eero beacon. My setup can work, except frequently (perhaps daily) I get the message:Unable to play ‘song name’-cannot connect to //Desktop/Music because the server cannot be foundI try all sorts of things to resolve the problem, fiddling with settings in Sonos and on my Mac, rebooting Sonos components or the Mac, but the only thing that resolves the issue is restarting my Eero gateway. So I can’t figure out if the issue lies in the desktop, the Sonos components, or the Eero. Restarting the router daily is obviously very disruptive.

I have a single Sonos Five in some builtin shelves in my living room right now, and it sounds great. I would like to get a Sonos Beam gen 2 for the TV in the living room also. I DON’T want to use the Five for the TV. We already have another TV in a game room with ARC, Sub, and One SL surrounds.However, I would like to use the Beam and the single Five for music. I listen to music in my living room way more than watch TV in that space.How does adding the Beam to my living room TV add to music experience? Would I need 2 separate “rooms” on the app for the Beam and Five since I'm not going to use the Five when I watch TV?The other more expensive option was to go all out and get 4 Sonance in ceiling speakers with an amp and Beam. Then find another spot for the Five. Not really going to happen at this point.

I have a pretty elaborate dj setup that I use a lot in my office and my wife is often doing art in her studio. She sometimes wants to listen to what I am playing but they are on opposite sides of the house. Do I just need to get a Sonos Amp or Port to play my dj set through the Sonos system?I am not concerned about delay or anything like that since I won't be using any Sonos speakers near me.Thanks to anyone that takes the time to answer.

I have a Play 1, Play 5 (Gen 1) and Playbar with a Gen 1 Bridge and over the last 18 months with the introduction of S2 software had increasing trouble connecting everything together but right now I can’t connect anything at all? I’ve tried all the usual….. unplug everything, re install everything, turn router off and on etc but none of the devices can be found in either of the Sonos apps or directly from Spotify. any suggestions?

Hi,I wonder if my wished setup is viable. it should look like this: Denon AVR-X4100W receiver with 2 B&W front speakers + SONOS ARC (as a central front speaker) and 2 IKEA Symfonisk as back surround speakers + SONOS subwoofer 3 genI own all of these elements today. What I am trying to do is to use all the best elements I have of 2 currently separate setups. It might feel strange, but it’s part of a “re-use with low cost” approach..I guess you could say that I have a basic starting point with a receiver and 2 “normal non-wifi speakers” and would like to add 4 SONOS components: ARC, subwoofer and 2 Symfonisks. but to secure they will actually work as a 5.1 system Any help would be deeply appreciated
