Hello,I have a Beam 2 with 2x SLs and a SUB connected to my Samsung TV via eArc. This setup worked well for a few weeks, but then the system started randomly cutting sound and connecting to the internal TV speaker for about 5 seconds. Then switching back. This can happen between one time per day to about once every five minutes, rendering the system useless.I have tried multiple things for weeks:The issue also occurs when streaming through the TV internal netflix app, not only when watching HDMI from my set top box - The issue seems not to have anything to do with the set top box.I have connected to the optical port on the TV instead of the eArc - No changeI have connected to the optical port on the set top box - No changeI have also tried basically all settings available on the TV and on the Sonos. Updated everything yesterday (March 11, 2022) - No change.I have run the system on Ethernet cable or Wifi - No changeMy conclusion is that the beam just goes into some sleep mode for an unk

When I view albums through my music library track numbers 2 to 11 are missing?Any ideas why this is happening? 

for some reason I keep getting the 701 error “(An error occurred while adding tracks to the Queue) with only one of my Spotify playlists,  all other Spotify created and self created playlists seem to play fine.  I have 3700 songs in my playlist and the Sonos app definitely lists all the songs but as soon as I try to play anything from the playlist I get the error.  I've tried playing the first song, shuffle, the play button etc and still get the same results.  All apps and settings are current and please don't ask me to restart my device or router.  This Sonos app is remarkably buggy and frustrating in other respects but I'm learning to live with it’s clunkiness in hopes of future improvements.   Any solutions for the 701 error is appreciated as I really wish to listen to my playlist.   Thank you.  

Hello, I’ve done some searching and just wanted validate if I’m correct in my thinking.  We are doing a full reno and I’m looking to put Sonos In-Ceiling into our main floor. I was curious on the following: I understand that I can put 6 Architect speakers connected to ONE Sonos AMP.  I know that those 3 pairs/6 speakers can only play ONE source of music.  With this setup, however, can I independently control the volume to different zones?  For context.  I have an open concept first floor.  I wanted to put one pair in the kitchen, one pair in the living room and one pair in the dining room ceilings.  I’m trying to figure out how I can (Most cost effectively) control those 3 rooms volume independently...ideally from the app, like I do my Sonos 1’s. I’m ok with the fact I can only play one source of music from this setup.It seems like I can’t control volume independently between the 3 pairs without installing a analog dial on the wall.  I’m hoping I’m wrong.     Thank you in advance.  

I am using an old Soundbridge 100 and Zoneplayer 90 system, which Sonos system would give an improvement is sound quality ?

Just hooked up my Sonos amp to my lg c1 with hdmi arc cord.  The amp and TVs speakers seem like they are at battling one another to play sound. In the course of an hour show they switch back and forth 15-20 times. Any suggestions?  It’s really frustrating 

Hey there, A week ago I had to unplug one of the Symfonisk surrounds in my system. Upon plugging it back in, no sound was heard though the other surround continued to function as normal. In the app I had an option to “fix surrounds”, which just told me I had to have two speakers for surround use. I reset the errant speaker and it showed up in the app again, in a new room called “Living Room 2” for some reason. Under the System tab in the app, in the Living Room, it shows (+?+RS) with only the Beam listed. If I open the room, it shows the Beam and the Symfonisk (Right) but no left, along with an option to Set up Surrounds. Choosing this option, it tells me that BOTH surrounds are in other rooms and offers to move them to Living Room. OK, did that, then it plays the noise through the Right surround and I tap on it and it tells me it’s adding surrounds and it may take a moment. Five minutes later I get the error, “There was a problem adding surrounds” and tells me to try again. I tried re

I have about 15 Sonos speakers, first one bought around 2010.  Lately, the reliability has been very poor.  App not detecting speakers, speakers dropping mid song.  App telling me speakers are playing and they are not.  Last network change was in 2019.  Is it just me?I have an Eero pro mesh network, and literally no changes (that I’m aware of) for almost 3 years.  Lately when trying to play music, I’d say the system does what I want about 55% of time, the other times there are issues.Anyways, just ranting, but it’s starting to bug me, was just wondering if it’s me and my network or if this is commonplace.Thanks

I have 2 routers.  One in my house, and one in my shop.  I have the router in my shop hard wired into my house.  I am having problems connecting my Sonos One to the router in my shop.  It wants to grab the weak Wi-Fi signal from my house.  How do I connect the One speaker to the Wi-Fi router in my shop?

With Amazon Echo and Sonos 5 (and Spotify Premium and Alexa Sonos Skill and Spotify Skill), I would like to:Ask Alexa (via the Echo) to play (a Spotify album or a TuneIn Radio Station for example) on Echo and Sonos 5 simultaneously (separate rooms but in sync). Ask Siri via iPhone to play (Spotify) on my Echo and Sonos 5 simultaneously (separate rooms but in sync).Is it possible to have this? How would one set it up (is it just a “group” in Sonos or Alexa)? What is the best way to get a set up to easily use voice to simultaneously play on several speakers in sync?Thanks.

Just inherited a pair of Play3’s that I am going to make the rears for my surround sound with my Arc.  I MAY be overthinking this. but is there a difference beyond aesthetically in horizontal vs vertical orientation?  I have the Sanus floor stands so they can go either way.

Hi, I connected my sonos beam with the adapter hdmi-optical to my schiit hel2 DAC/AMP but it doesn't work, no sound come from the soundbar. I also installed the s2 software and tryed with my creative x3 and it works. Any suggestions? How can I fix it? Thanks

This problem has been going on for many months now, I live in Montréal, Canada.Many people seem to have reported the same problem and living in Europe or the US.This can happen a few or even many times in an hour and this is very annoying, please help!

I see quite a few sporadic messages for intermittent connectivity issue between the Sonos Arc & many Samsung TVs. My symptoms seems to be very similar to others where audio completely cuts out and a lot of restarts later, the audio (eARc) is restored. I’ve tried new cables, different AnyConnect settings, varying audio formats and the issue persists.  does anyone have a long term fix for these issues?  thanks in advance!

I have a line-in connected from my record player (Audio-Technica AT-LP60) to my Sonos 5. The Sonos 5 is set to autoplay and is in a speaker group. Everything performs perfectly when I use the record player - when I turn the record player on, the source automatically changes over and plays to the speaker group as it should… however, when the record player is not in use and I try to play streaming music to the same speaker group, the line-in source from the record player will interrupt/override the streaming (and play nothing, since the record player is not in use). I have to re-click the streaming service source to get it to play again to the speaker group.It was a minor annoyance at first, but it happens enough that it is becoming a headache. I was wondering if anyone knows a way to fix this and still retain the autoplay/speaker group settings on the Sonos 5 for when I use the record player.

Hello guys I’ve been so happy for weeks since the last upgrade in the Sonos ecosystem that provides support fort DTS, even though it does not accept DTS HD or DTS-X, still it’s very good news for us who love physical media. My current setup is as follows:LG OLED 65 of 2017 ( it does support DTS )Sonos Arc connected to LG through eARC ( Arc+2 Subwofers + 2 Sonos One )Panasonic 4k Blu-Ray player DP-UB9004EG1 connected by HDMI to the TV. Before the Sonos upgrade, I was reproducing my blurays and 4k blurays which don’t have Atmos or Dolby audio using the Xbox and the Dolby application. It does the job, although the sound and picture are not the same as I get using my 4k player. Now everything works fine with the Sonos upgrade, so I can reproduce any movie using my BD 4k Player. I’ve seen again Gladiator and Interstellar and the sound was amazing. The issue I have now is the following. So I just tried to open Sonos Radio HD again and am getting the annoying error that I’m already subscribed (which is true) but the app acts like I’m not.If I try to manage my subscription in the app it just shows the screen as if I’m not subscribed, but when pressing “Try it now” I get the following screenshot: So the app tells me I’m subscribed, but doesn’t show me the Radio. When I press ‘OK’ in the above alert I get the following screenshot after a couple of seconds: And afterwards nothing happens and I still can’t listen to Sonos Radio HD. If I go to the radio menu then I just see it as if I’m not subscribed.So pretty annoying, how to fix this?

Hi!  I’m looking for recommended wired sub that match sonance outdoor speakers. I’ve a Sonos Amp wired to Outdoor Sonance Speakers in my living room so the sub doesn't necessarily have to be outdoor ready, plus I'm looking for an aesthetically pleasing solutionthe sub has to be hardwired because sometimes I connect my mixer and turntables to make DJ sets, otherwise I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Sonos Sub (I already have one)thanks in advance for any suggestion

Mac user here. My desktop is an iMac running Monterey 12.2.1. My music library is on a Mac Mini running Sierra 10.12.6 which I have not yet upgraded because it works fine for what it is supposed to do.Anyway, I recently started ripping some new CDs using the program XLD. I now have a folder on my iMac desktop full of FLAC audio files. Using the Sonos Mac app, I have added that folder to my Sonos music library which sees the folder but sees no available files inside that folder. Specifically, when I open that folder it says “No selections are available.” Sonos does see the iTunes and Music libraries on the iMac and Mini and the files within them.So my question is, does Sonos need to be specifically pointed at a library and not just a folder of audio files?thanks in advance for any help/advice,dpc

Hi there everybody. I have two Sonos Roam and some cabled Sonos (One, One SL, …) and I seem to have a problem with alarms on Roams.Sometimes (not every morning) the alarm won’t turn on on Roam. It doesn’t play the chimes, either, so it’s not an Internet connection issue.The strangest thing is this: in the Sonos app, the Roam device is not even offline since I can see it, but the status led is off. As soon as I press play the led turn on and the music starts to play. So it seems that the Roam is connected, online but with the led off and the alarm not started!After the occurrence I try to set another alarm, put the Roam in stand-by and wait. And then the alarm works!In my experience, this happened with the Roam only, with the Ones I sometimes had the chimes instead of the music, but the alarm always worked.I’ve sent the diagnostic 1074509429. The alarm was set to turn on at 6:40 AM (Central European Time), roughly one hour before the end of the diagnostic. The Roam is called “Cameretta”

I have a Samsung smart tv that has optical drive and hdmi earc and hdmi arc compatible to sonos arc.I was searching through google and youtube how to get the sonos arc to work on a mixer but i dont find any possible solution on how to get this set up before actually buying the mixer because it will be a waste of money if the set up doesn’t work on my sonos arc and smart tv. I was planning to buy this sound town mixer https://www.amazon.com/Sound-Town-Channels-Microphone-Microphones/dp/B086WY6Y34?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1 to connect on my sonos arc will this actually work if i connect the tv optical audio output to this mixer and then i connect the mixer optical drive to sonos arc via HDMI optical drive adapter. Does anyone tried this setup before? I was told by sonos support that arc requires 2.4 g wifi (approx 90 mbs) and will not work on 5g. Does that mean that my TCL TV needs to also be on 2.4g, i.e. the same wireless network.if so, this seems like a major limitation, since the TV supports 5g.(approx 400 mbs). I understand 5g is better for 4K streaming, etc.Please let me know if Im missing something.
