Hi - I am setting up an new Sonos AMP to 4 speakers. First 2 speakers: excellent sound.Third speaker: still excellent sound.Fourth speaker: I experienced a severe loss of quality of one of the channels and thus speakers. Monaco SPE-82/HQ 100 watt 8 Ohm speakers.2 speakers on 1 channel thus 4 on 2 channels. Any explanation? Ideally anybody a fix?

I just upgraded to the latest version of the Mac OS, 12.1, Monterey and it no longer finds or connects to the Sonos Roam speaker.  It had no problem prior to this latest update.  I have tried all the other suggested fixes to no avail.

My setupLiving Room:Sonos Beam Sonos Amp that includes two wired speakersDining Room:Sonos Five What I’m trying to doI only have a handful of inputs: a TV for home theatre, Tune-In for radio, Spotify for music and a Line-in for a turntable. Ideally, I would like both the Living Room AND the Dining Room to automatically play grouped for everything except home theatre, which I’d like to only output in the Living Room. Is there a way to set this up with default groups based on inputs, so I don’t have to keep grouping them manually whenever I switch inputs?

I have the Beam (gen 2) and the Sun (gen 3). I use the Sonos app to get them connected using the 2.4g wifi.The sub has not been staying connected. Also, everytime I open the app it can not locate the system and I end up having to redo the whole process. The sub will work for a day or so and then lose connection again and I repeat the process.I bought a Boost hoping that would help but am having the same issue.I reset my router and made sure I had coverage. I have 1000mb service and average about 250mb wifi in the room with the system.What am missing? I love the sound of the system but am getting really frustrated. Any help appreciated if I am missing a step.Thank you.

I’m fairly green with technology, I have a very simple setup with Sonos, a Beam sound bar (HDMI to the tv) and a Sonos one, both can be connected together using the Sonos 2 app on my phone. I have decided to add a turntable and CD player to play through my Sonos system and was advised to get a Sonos Port, also advised to get a switch box so both the CD player and turntable could be connected at the same time with only one output to the Port. My issue is that the Port wouldn’t connect to the current Beam/One network and instead created its own network, now when I play a CD and connect everything together I hear no sound (both CD player and Turntable) Any ideas?? 

Hello,I Have a “The Frame” Samsung TV, and the base / components are far away from the TV itself in a cabinet in the back of the room (NOT behind the TV or near it). As you might know the “Frame” Base station is connected to the TV by a fiber optics cable so the “brains” of the TV can be placed far from the screen. Now, I would like to be able to incporporate the sound coming out of the TV to my SONOS, so I can play it in any of the SONOS connected speakers. Any ideas as to what device I would need to connect to the TV base (that is NOT a Sound bar…?) Thank you!!!!

Hi Sonos, my Sub G1, one of the non-glare versions, does show up in my system as ZP100 which is clearly wrong. So my S2 App says it’s incompatible (grouped with ARC + 2 Play:3 as rear). Diagnostic info 1961414442Also my Windows App does not work anymore (says it need update, but when i click on update, no update is found). 

Hi,Sonos controller on Android will not show the album title when playing?It only shows The artist name twice? See picture below:  This only happens when i play from my NAS disk, not from Spotify?And it also works on my windows desktopAnd it just happens here, was working fine earlier.The problem is on my OnePlus 7T Pro with Android 11 Sonos OS: S2Sonos app version: 13.4.1 Appreciate any help regarding this issue!! Edit: After a bit more research, I see that this only applies to FLAC files? 

it looks like there is a priority or a hand off issue between Sonos and IOS and when I try playing spotify in IOS when Sonos has been playing first from within the sonos app spotify does not get handed off to ios.I have brought this up to the spotify community and they mention bringing up the issue with you all as well.Spotify community link

Can not get the Sony remote to run all three (TV, Cable, Sonos) components. If I disable Bluetooth, remote will run Sonos volume but will not run Spectrum Cable box. If I have Bluetooth on, remote will run Cable box but won’t run Sonos speakers.Is there a solution other than using two remotes?

I have a play bar, sub and a pair of Play1 as my surround.For some reason it no longer plays what’s on TV when external speakers are selected. This leaves me with only the TV speaker to watch a TV show or movie. How do I reconnect or re-pair the speakers with my smart TV?(If it’s important - Our TV provider is TELUS and we have an OPTIK TV box.)

For those of you who have evaluated various music services with Sonos, what are your recommendations?  I’m currently considering Apple Music, Qobuz, Deezer and Amazon.  My priorities are music quality (High Resolution), integration with Sonos as I plan on streaming via the Sonos app and lastly cost.  FWIW, I’ll be using a pair of One SLs configured as a stereo pair on my office desk. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts after evaluating some of these services with Sonos. Thanks. 

Google Assistant works fine on Sonos 1 if my phone is out of the room.If my phone is in my pocket and I'm in front of the speaker and say, "hey Google, turn up the volume". It turns up my phone instead of the speaker even though the speaker beeps in response to the hey Google.

I have my Sonos Move connected to my home network but I would like to connect it to the wifi that i have set up in my Travel trailer. I can use Bluetooth but the range is much better using the wifi. Does the move recognize two wifi networks or does it have to be re set up every time it moves networks?

Hi,I’m currently searching for a home theater system and the sonos approach really seems the thing I want. I’m very concerned about the microphone. I really don’t want any microphone listening to me all the time and I really don’t trust a microphone that’s on all the time. Is there a way to disable the microphone or even break it physically? This is really the only thing that’s preventing me from buying an Arc soundbar.  

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but I added a couple of Sonos Ones (Gen 1 and SL) to my Beam (Gen 1) today for surround sound with my LG C8 OLED. The Beam is connected via Arc. Built in TV’s apps only. It’s working great for most things, some movies on Netflix sounded fantastic. Tried some demos on YouTube that were good to. But it doesn’t work with Amazon Video, even though the videos I tried all state they are 5.1 in the info and Sonos app report it as being 5.1. Nothing at all from the rear L/R Ones, just the Beam.  Any known issues with Amazon video or this TV? Anything I can try? Am I missing something?

I bought a couple of SONOS ONE to connect them to my beam so i get a surround system. I have connect them all toghether, however, by speakers SONOS ONE´s micro does not turn on in anyway, meaning that the only micro ON is the one from my BEAM. Because of this, i do not know whether my SONOS One´s micro works, i do not know if Alexa works on them etc…I starting asking to myself that may be, if Beam is already using Alexe, maybe this blocks the Sonos Ones micro ?? I have tried to reset the speaker, uninstall the sonos skill in alexa…can you please help ? i am going crazy with this issue.

My Ring Doorbell, is not reported in my Sonos One via Alexa (Stereo Par) and it does on my Sonos One Second generation. Any Solution? I have noticed that for Alexa, the 1st gen is reported as a speaker and the 2nd Gen, as an Echo device. Is this last correct?

I own a Sonos One and was saddened to learn that 1) I need to have a soundbar to use the Sonos One with a TV and 2) I need an analog input such as the the Play/Five/Connect/Port to use with my PC. Is the Sonos One Gen 2 compatible with any of the Sonos Gen 1 soundbars?  

Hi. I am having difficulties setting up my sonos beam and my new philips oled tv. I have the tv connected to beam using hdmi arc channel and have selected the audio out option as hdmi sound system, however the sound plays through both the tv speakers and the sonos beam creating an echo. I expected that it would play through the sonos only.Please could you offer some advice on how to resolve this?

Hellocan we adjust the volume by a voice assistant other than from 1 to 10?If we use the TV remote control, it gives us more levethe problem may not be the same for listening to music but for the sound of the television (the 1st operation of a sound bar), we should have a lot more level available the difference between two levels is too great I think it can be fixed with a software update. thank you

Hello, I have lost the connection to my sonos connect via the controller software.When i launch a network scan, I can see it has an IP-address. I have resetted the controller and I tried to re-add it, It is detected, but it won’t proceed to the end of the process.It ‘s probably a software issue, is there any possibility or hidden option to hard reset it?thx!
