Until recently my Sony KD-65A1 TV and Sonos Arc have worked perfectly since I purchased the Arc over 12 months ago. The Sonos Arc is connected to the TV via HDMI/ARC. Recently the TV sound on the Arc has been dropping out after using one of the TV Android Apps such as YouTube. Even when I close the App and go back to TV there is no sound. Once the sound has dropped out the only way to get the TV sound back on the Arc is to disconnect the power or HDMI so the sound switches to the in-built TV speakers and then reconnect the Arc when the sound is then redirected back through the Arc. I have tried all combinations of settings to try and resolve the problem without success. The Sonos App does not show the type of signal from the TV when there is no sound (blank instead of the usual Dolby Digital 2.0, Stereo PCM, etc.) so I think the Arc has stopped processing the sound from the TV HDMI. Both TV and Arc have latest software and I wonder if the issue is as a result of a recent software updat

Hello --   I have one Sonos One speaker (voice enabled), one Sonos One SL (no mic) and two Sonos Playbars (no mic).  I’m trying to create various groups so I can ask my voice enabled Sonos One to play music “upstairs.”  This would require grouping the Sonos One, Sonos One SL and a Playbar (as an example).  Will my Sonos One group itself with my Sonos One SL and Playbar, both of which do not have mics? Thanks. Dave

I am in Italian living in Russia. Currently I am unable to use your products because you disable the Russian music services. Although I am not sure this method is effective, I understand your marketing attempt at the expense of you clients to stop the War. Anyway, since I have nothing to do with war and since I cant use your product - will it be possible for you to reimburse me?  PS: By the way if I move back to Italy and Italy get involved with NATO in an senseless war like it did in Iraq, Libia, Serbia, Afganistan - are you going to disable the music service also there?

Any suggestions as to who I might try - tried 2 Techs thus far - results Zero !! No problem with the Arc & Sub -working perfectly just will not pair with LG tv???

Could you please kindly assist please…….again!I bought a Arc and installed it ok, the problem is I cannot get any atmos on it?The tv is Samsung 2017 model, if I look at the audio outputs there is no DD+ only DD and only see DD 5.1 in the Sonos app, is the DD+ format totally different to normal DD and should I be able to select DD+ in the audio settings? Maybe the tv is too old?I am aware that the Arc needs to have a minimum of DD+ for it to play a compressed atmosIf I play a blu ray with atmos soundtrack I still only get DD 5.1, there is no tv setting for passthroughwould a HD Fury Arcana resolve this?Also if I stream Amazon music ( not unlimited) via airplay should I see cd format 16bit 44khz in the app as I don’t😥Thank you 👍Martin

I have a 12 zone Sonos system, wireless config, that usually runs trouble free. WiFi is provided by BT Whole Home Wifi extenders throughout the house.One of the zones is a Sonos Move that has performed flawlessly since I’ve had it.In the last couple of weeks it has started becoming very unreliable.  Typical behaviour is: - Add Move to Group (via either Windows Desktop or Android app) - Move shows as playing music in the group but no sound comes out - Attempt to remove Move from group:  App unable to connect to device, try again later - Manually turn Move off and then on again - Move sometimes returns to becoming responsive, sometimes not. At all times the WiFi signal where the Move is situated it showing as full strength on my phone. I have tried a full factory reset and re-adding to my system with no improvement. Has anyone experienced anything similar?  Got any helpful hints before I take this to Sonos Support?Many thanks.

I continually have problems with my Sonos and Amazon Prime Music service.  I can play music from my Amazon Prime Music account through the ap and it will play one of my playlists for awhile, then all of a sudden the music will stop. I then get a notification that “…there is missing information with Amazon Music…”.There is nothing wrong with my Amazon Prime Music account, it will play fine off of my kitchen’s Alexa through Sonos while the ap will continue to tell me that there is an issue.  I can play music off of the Sirrius station through Sonos with no issues.  I can play music off of my computer using the Amazon Prime ap no problem. This issue started a few months back.  I have deleted and reinstalled the Amazon Music more than once and it does not help.I spoke with one of the Sonos help personnel earlier today and she told me that the Sonos techs “knew of the issue and that they were working on fixing it”.  I have not read that anywhere on the forum.  She also directed me to Status

I want to listen to all the episodes of a series in BBC Sounds, but can’t find a way of displaying the available episodes or selecting the ones I want.  When I select BBC Sounds | Categories | etc, it just gives me one episode and, if I select that, I can’t find a way to choose others.And if I switch to ‘Show in Sounds’ it plays it through my phone rather than my Sonos Port.Can anyone help?Thanks.

The Sonos S2 App has a connection to the Sonos-System, but not to the internet, so an update of the controller is not possible, a connection to spotify or TuneIn within the controller is not possible etc.Used system: macOS 12.4Used Sonos S2 App: Vers. 14.8Has anyone an idea how to solve this issue?

I saw there was a similar post on thisBut that was over a year ago, but it still seems to be an issue. I have a Sony Bravia 65” XBR-65X900F and a Sonos Arc hardware version 1.27.1.8-1.2. Is there anything to do to fix this?

Hi There -I’ve been using the Arc, Sub and One SL’s as surrounds successfully for 2 years without issue and recently I noticed there was no bass coming from the sub and nothing coming from the surrounds even though everything was still connected in the app (Sub+RS+LS).  If I pull the power to reset the Arc and everything seems to wake up and come back, but then it’ll randomly drop out while watching something or be out when I turn on the tv next time.  Everything is all in the same room and the router is near by, but hardwiring the arc would be a bit of a hassle so I wondering if adding the boost may solve the issue.  Thanks!I’m using and Apple TV+ and Sony X900h.  

I honestly feel like I'm at wits end with the Sonos app. Opening the app is always a flip of the coin. Will the app find my system, or will I see the dreaded "Unable to connect to Sonos. Let's fix it" error message? Hi,I own a S2 system (3xFive + Port) with more than 12000 tracks in FLAC & MP3 on 4 folders of a Synology Nas. This year I found out at I couldn't alter my library, without unplugging al the Sonos components & performing the Update Library with just one active component. Also my Port lost, during the night, track of al the music I played the day before. The Fives hadn't had that problem.These BUGs seemed to be resolved with an update from Sonos this month. But yesterdat I noticed that one of my folders are empty, so I can play just 5000 or 6000 from the whole collection. I took me half an hour to get all folders back, because by adding one folder I lost 2 others.Today I found out I miss again a folder!Perhaps this problem is also due to the automatic Library Update during the night, which is, for me, not interesting. I have an m4a that won’t play, even though it seems to adhere to Sonos’ supported file formats. I have Samsung QN85A and Arc SL with sub and a pair of One SL speakers as rears. my problem is exactly the same as the one listed here  it happens with my Apple TV and with the TV built in apps. I have latest firmware installed on all of my components. Any ideas?Like the author of the post I linked exiting out of the problematic app and moving around the Apple TV Home Screen until the UI makes a sound fixes it. I’ve had audio drop out even when going from one episode to the next in Hulu, HBO max, etc. I’ve only seen this behavior since purchasing this TV. Everything worked fine on my old 2018 LG.  

I have a Sonos Arc, which is connected to my LG TV (lg65nano956na) using eARC. I have Google Assistant setup on the ARC, and everything is working fine. I am able to ask Google Assistant to Turn ON or OFF the TV, using voice commands - where Google Assistant then uses the Sonos TV Control Integration to execute the command, as my TV itself does not appear as a smart device in the Google Home app.I am however facing one isse, that if the TV is already “OFF” and Google Assistant is asked to turn it “OFF”, then it turns ON. This in itself is not an issue (as it does not make sense to do).The problem arrives when I use the “Turn OFF everything” command, to turn OFF all my smart devices. In this case, all my smart devices turn OFF, including my TV.. unless the TV is already “OFF”, in which case Sonos TV Control turns it back on.Any idea why this happens and if there is a way to solve it? 

I am on Windows 10.  I have an Asus AC5300 Router.  I have an external HD that I have connected to the USB port of the Router.  Sono’s states file are no longer available, The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on (it is), the path may have changed (it didn’t).  It’s accepts iTunes with no issues.  Any one seen this issues?

Hi everyone I've had endless issues with my 3 Sonos One's and 1 x One SL that I have set up in my gym studio. They keep dropping out and unsyncing. I've tried improving the WiFi, reconnecting them all multiple times, installing the Sonos Boost and reconnecting them all to that. I am STILL having issues with one of the speakers inexplicably playing different music to the other 3. Coincidentally it happens to the the SL which is the odd one out although I don't think this is a contributing factor. I cannot explain it and don't understand how or why it randomly starts playing different music. We use one single phone to operate the system and play music from the Sonos app. How or why is this happening and what can I do to stop it???

I have recently got an Audio Technica blue tooth turntable that comes with a pre amp. I connect it to a Roam with a view to playing through my other Sonos products. this works to all rooms except the main one I want it to work on.The “living room” set up is an Arc, a sub, a one and a one sl. playback starts ok but will frequently be jumpy and then stop all together. the rear speakers will also disconnect and on occasion the “living room” disappears from the Sonos app completely. any thoughts on how I could fix this or is the arc surround set up just not capable of playing the output from the turntable?

Hi,I am encountering many problems since the last update 14.6. I use the Spotify service (Android + IOS) with the Sonos S2 app and since the 14.6 update the music cuts itself after a while. I also have trouble listening to music in several rooms and my Sonos ONE SL speakers disconnect themselves. I have to reboot them to reconnect them again. Do some of you have these kinds of problems? I hope that the next update will correct these concerns that are extremely disabling in the use of my SONOS system.

I switched from Comcast to Verizon, uninstalled Alexa and reinstalled.  Upgraded to the new Sonos app and when asked to play a station on Pandora, Alexa will acknowledge, but no music plays.  I’m at a loss for what to try next.

Hello!I need to know the required TV features to maximize our Arc. We bought an Arc in 2020 and hooked it up to our TV, which is a Vizio E65-C3. The Arc sounds amazing when I play music out of it. It’s sounds meh when I play the TV.  My suspicion is that the TV--purchased in 2015--is outdated for the Arc. We are moving and getting a new TV. So I can correct this problem...I think?! I called Sonos tech to find out ask which required features are needed on a new TV. Sorry, that was a total waste of time. This tech person was really just a call agent.  I am hoping that a Sonos tech expert on here can help: As I shop for a new TV, what are the required features I need? In my research I’m seeing conflicting info from customers. Thank You!Rod.   

Think it’s since the last one or two updates but in my case on iPhone & iPad bottom icon bar changes to white with black icons and chosen icon goes blank when selected.  Bottom icon bar should usually be black with white icons. Only occurs when now playing is not displayed. When now playing screen is displayed, everything is as normal. Tried old iOS version of the Sonos app and issue is not present. Tried deleting and redownloading app but makes no difference. 

Hello,My Play5 was received almost 2 weeks ago at Sonos.  I have not received any email confirmation of receipt or status of replacement.  I have tried calling 3 times and sat on hold for over 45 mins each time with no connection.  A little frustrated, can someone assist?thank you,Chris

We have a favourite lullaby playlist on spotify that plays in the children’s bedrooms that is added to the sonos favourites. I also have a spotify family account with 4 accounts added to spotify.The childrens playlist is usually started each evening by physically pressing play on the speaker. When this is done occasionally it will default back to my own spotify account (one of the four), preventing me from using that on another group or within the spotify application itself. When this happens I cannot seem to change which account the childrens playlist plays from. I’ve tried from their group/zone stopping the playlist, changing the account on the spotify music source, and then choosing the playlist from the sonos favourites to no avail. I have also stopped the playlist, changed the account on the spotify music source, and then played something random from within the spotify source before going back to select their playlist from the sonos favourites.
