Thought I’d take my Sonos Roam on holiday.    Didn’t work.  Couldn’t connect to WiFi as the hotel (Radisson), like most, uses open access WiFi so instead of a password, you sign in with room number and family name.   I kinda accepted that, though far from ideal, but I couldn’t even get the Roam to work via Bluetooth.   I had the hotel IT guy try various workarounds for an hour but he had to give up.   Does anyone know a solution for this?   Cheers.

My main system is a Lyngdorf 1120 based system but For the Dining room i am thinking of getting a Sonos 5.  Is it possible to use it with wireless headphones

I have had my system for a good year or so now but one day it just stopped working.  I have ask Alexa to tell the weather/ time etc but won’t play any music.  When I go into the app on my phone and try to connect to a device it comes up with this Amazon Music Error.  I feel I have tried everything, unplugging - resetting - logging out of app and back in.  Also now under Music & Content I can’t find Amazon Music?  If I play Sonos Radio through here it will play but my sono will only work through here through my phone not voice??

As title, Sonos speaker wireless cant connect app via wifi without peer to peer?

Good Morning everyone,I have 2 Sonos Play:1 speakers with which I listen music via the Sonos S2 App, wirelessly, on my phoneI wish I could listen to my cds from the portable cd player and I saw online that I need a Sonos Conect Amp.I've seen some Sonos amp connect devices on ebay, Sonos ZonePlayer ZP100 Digital Music System Multi Room, I wanna buy of second hand. Before buying it, I would like to know if it is the correct device to listen to the compact discs from the Sonos Play audio speakers: 1 or I need another device.Any kind of suggestion is appreciatedBest

My amp keeps restarting. It is connected via HDMI Arc and we are watching a show and it restarts so the tv disconnects the. Stops the show then when it reboots it reconnects and stops the show again. It also has stopped while the some knife talk is at about 1:20-1:30 and restarts every time.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Amp is under 1 year old.diagnostic number 377583551

Hi all, I just purchased a Sony Bravia xr-65x90ck and I’m unable to get it working with my Playbase. I’m using an audio optical cable to connect the two, and the cable light is red, so the connection isn’t the issue. I’ve seen older threads from users with similar issues, but nothing newer that references the most current televisions. Does anyone know the correct settings for the television/playbase?Also, we use any Apple TV for all streaming etc. We also have a Nintendo Switch on a separate HDMI port. No sound on the Playbase from either one.

Hi all,I bought an Arc + Sub Gen 3 bundle last week. Unfortunately since I’ve started using it, the standby noise from the Sub has been unbearable; I know there’s normally a slight hum/whine with almost all electronics, but this is loud to the point that it’s distracting me from the other side of a quiet 8m room. I have to switch it off or physically unplug it each time I stop using it for a while, which is… not a great user experience.I’ve tried factory resetting, disconnecting from the Arc, using different wall sockets, swapping the power cables between the Arc and Sub, everything I can think of. The hum is independent of volume.I’ve recorded it here: https://voca.ro/1lAaKn4Qmzw7. At 14 seconds I switch the Sub off (via the app) so you can hear the background noise alone (along with the quiet hiss and few random quiet ticks it makes even when off).I’m also a bit concerned by other comments that I’ve seen that returned units can be replaced with B stock - is this true? I only received

I used to get lock screen controls on my iphone to control the sonos system. Now they are gone. Not sure exactly when they disappeared, as I’ve updated both Sonos and IOS devices numerous times. A super convenient feature, which I’m really missing. I can see this issue has cropped up before, and the solution was to delete non-sonos airplay devices from the ios device. To me, this isn’t a solution. I would like to cast my phone audio to other devices. This WAS working. I can’t get a concise explanation as to why Airplay and Sonos aren’t working well together! Anyone know how to get this working?

I have a Beam gen 2 that I want to add my 2 ones ( that are are on s1 app) for surrounds just for a Saturday night movie to s2 and then return the ones to s1 app. Is there an easy way to do this?

I have an arc and have just purchased 2 Sonos one SL's to try and create a surround system. Initially,  all went well, everything was connected and working fine. I then became aware there was no sound coming out of the ones and they had  a flashing green light. I factory reset them,  re-added them to Sonos added them as surround speakers and they instantly flash green as soon as they are set up. I have totally factory reset the entire system and yet as soon as they become surround speakers they flash green. Any help would be gratefully accepted.

Hello, thanks for reading my question. The community has recently helped me resolve another more complex problem than what I am about to ask in this thread. It is great that the more knowledgeable members here are so generous with their time. Thank you very much in advance. I live in two different cities. During the work week I am in one city, and weekends in another. Currently my Sonos system is setup in my weekend location (I’m not well off, it sounds better than it is, believe me). I have an Arc, Sub 3 and a pair of Moves. I simply want to take the pair of Moves with me to the home I live at during the work week. I do not need to take the Arc and Sub, just the Moves would be fine. Is it as simple as going to the work week location, turning on the App, it won’t find a network that it knows, and then using the Add a Trusted Network function? I would guess if that is the case then you just add the Moves as products one at a time and recreate the pair?  If so, when I return on the weeke

I have a Sonos Five, Beam, and Symfonisk satellites in my living room. The Five is purely there to connect my turntable, so I do not want it to play when the TV is being used. Is there a way to accomplish this without having to manually toggle speakers every time we switch from the turntable to the TV?

simply trying to upgrade to the S2 controller and it keeps giving me the screen “Sonos Found on My WiFi Network” with the options of opening the S1 Controller or More Options. Their is no button on the more options tab to Forget my existing network so i end up in a loop with the new app directing me to the existing S1 App. All existing devices on the existing network are S2 compliant. Funny this is it has a button on the options to downgrade products to S1 but nothing to upgrade to S2Do i need to uninstall the S1 APP and start fresh? Sonos should make this a simpler upgrade for sure as some even say you can have a S1 and S2 network co-exist but i don't know how that would work when the new controller always looks and points to the existing S1.Just need some ideas how i can deactivate or upgrade the S1 to the S2 or should I just kill the S1 and start fresh.Although I'm not a tech nerd I am very analytical and can figure things out pretty good. For a company whos mission is to make home

Hello everyone, I’m building a home system that would integrate my TV and turntable, as well allow for streaming. I’d also like it to work over WiFi and be expandable (i.e. with a future multiroom setup), so I’m looking at the Sonos Amp. The idea is to run hook up both my TV and turntable, to just 1 amp (using the available line-in and HDMI ports) and my existing pair of bookshelf speakers, but I can’t seem to find anywhere how it does input switching. Can it detect when I’m playing a record or turning on my TV? Or do I set it up for 1 thing only and then have to go through endless menus every time you want to change my audio source? Also, can I then add wireless Sonos speakers to this setup without adding more Sonos Amps? Thanks for any advice on this!

I use my Sonos Amp in my home office from my Mac via AirPlay. This morning, I tried to play some music, and it’s not connecting. It shows up in the AirPlay menu in the Music app, but can’t connect. I can stream via AirPlay from my iPhone with no problem. I recently installed a new mesh wifi system, but that’s the only thing that’s changed in my setup. Any idea what could be going wrong or how to diagnose this?

Just upgraded to Virgin super hub which is working fine, good speed and better coverage in the house. I have managed to get my beam and sub working on new network but not my surrounds, One SLs. I have tried everything suggested, factory reset, rebooted router etc. they appear to be on network but Sonos app cannot link them to my system.  help!

I know that the soundbar’s main purpose is “speaker” for TV. Still, I feel that in 2022 it would be normal for a device that can connect to LANs (both wired and wirelessly) to be able to work in more diverse situations than a simple TV - Beam connection.I also feel that  implementing  more features or allowing for more connections would be simple (and not costly) tasks - adding a new port and even updating softwareI’ll start with what I have (in terms of devices setup), what I want to achieve and what I can’t do (or don’t know how to do it). I have a PC connected (via a RTX 3080) to two monitors and one LG C1 TV (via HDMI). The LG TV is connected to Sonos Beam via the eArc port. I’ve also connected the Sonos Beam to my home network using the Ethernet port (so there’s a wired connection here). When I work, I do it on my monitors (work on one and listen/view YT on the other monitor). I keep my TV off. When I am playing some games, I do turn the TV on (as I play on the TV) and the sound get

Hi,I have a PC connected to a videoprojector, and I want to link it remotely to a Ray soundbar. Can I use a Sonos Port connected to the PC, which will then link up with the soundbar ?Thanx !

Hi there. We privately sold our Sonos Bridge and Play 1 speaker yesterday but have not unlinked these products from our account. Can anyone help with any instruction on how best to go about fixing this oor will we have to ask the buyer to return so we can reconnect to our WiFi system?

Hi,I changed Wi-Fi router (and therefore username/password), and cannot connect to my Sonos+Ikea SYMFONISK system anymore.More precisely, the app fails in finding the Sonos system.I followed the dedicated instructions:https://support.sonos.com/s/article/1061?language=en_US The screen says:“Assurez-vous que tous vos produits sont allumés. Cette opération devrait durer entre 1 et 2 minutes”with a “Trouver le système” (find system) button But after pressing the “Trouver le système” (find system) button, the screen says:“Recherche de votre système en cours…” (currently looking for your system)…and after just a few seconds, it goes back to the initial screen (“Assurez-vous que tous vos produits sont allumés. Cette opération devrait durer entre 1 et 2 minutes”) with the same “Trouver le système” (find system) button. And so on and so forth. Note that by plugging the Sonos SYMFONISK system into the router using an Ethernet cable, everything works fine. I tried rebooting, disabling/enabling Wi-

Hi,I have what appears to be the same problem as a number of other people in that using TuneIn stations as alarm doesn't work reliably.I have three identical Play:1 speakers that are used as alarm clocks, "tuned" to the same (very reliable) radio station. One works perfectly, one falls through to the alarm chime about once every other week and one does it about every other day. When that happens I can always stop the chime and manually start the radio station right away without problems.Playing music is otherwise always rock solid on all three speakers, whether it's the same radio station as the one used for alarms, other radio stations, Spotify or my local music library. I never experience problems starting music manually and I can also reliably use a playlist as alarm music - only TuneIn causes problems. The three speakers are set for different alarm times and the problem seems to be independent of the alarm time. The speaker that often fails is usually the only device creating any si
