I have a Beam gen 2 that I want to add my 2 ones ( that are are on s1 app) for surrounds just for a Saturday night movie to s2 and then return the ones to s1 app. Is there an easy way to do this?

Assuming they are not One-SL’s, then simply factory reset them to add to an S2 system - but note if they are your only speakers on the S1 HH you will lose everything in the S1 HH and will need an S1 only device to recreate a new S1 HH. Otherwise you should not have an issue upgrading them to S2,

To put them back onto the S1 system afterwards - see this link:

(Note a Sonos One-SL added to an S2 system cannot be downgraded to S1)

Thank you so much Ken! Done and I love the surrounds, what a difference. I may never put them back to S1.

Or perhaps save up and get two more (or ask Santa🎅) …and then have the best of both.😀
